Hello guys, I've never seen a black default background for 6.1, can someone crank this out, I'm currently using the default green one which is cool but I loose a lot of contrast on the top icons, I'm hoping that with a default black background the contrast is more apparent and thus making the top icon bar usable again. I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance
JL
not around my comp right now but why not take the green one, convert to grey scale, and adjust levels?

You took the words out of my mouth, convert to black and white then alter the contrast.
Do you know what the default green background is called? Then i can get on to it.

Yeah, I wish I knew where that file is located, can this be done on Windows Paint, I'm kind of a huge rookie but I guess I can try if I can locate the file but hold on, I recall having a blue Sliding Panel background, let me go find that
Then i can get on to it. here is the file in blue
If someone can Photoshop this to a cool looking metallic grey or some similar color that would render the MRU icons with some contrast enough to differentiate among them it would be great

Sent you PM, finding it hard to get the gloss, i'm trained in photography and tend to use the printing process to get gloss, have been playing about with softness of the image, am going to pass this on to someone more knowledgeable than me in the area of editing lol, i'm using Corel Pro X2, if anyone can beat me to this do it, i'm sure we must have photo editing peeps on here? I think it is done via layers from what i can find?
Hope peeps dont mind just attached a couple of my images.

Nice one looks sweet.
Hi, I re-sized a lot of wallpapers I had collected from all over the place, and figured I share them. Most are 1440x2560 or 720x1280. There is all kinds of different ones, like nature, abstract, animals, and Abe Lincoln holding a M16 and the Declaration of Independence while riding a grizzly bear. You know nice stuff.
Anyways I'll keep adding more and more over time. Please feel free to post your own wallpapers because I'm always looking for new ones to add to the collection. Thanks
Here they all are:
http://www.dropbox.com/gallery/57197526/1/Resized for Rezound 1?h=ae1521
Here's a nice way to set these if your launcher makes you choose a different shape, and you can select multiple pics to use at once if you choose.

Hope you enjoy these wallpapers, the first 3 sets are mainly nature, the second 2 are real random things.
these look fantastic
sadly when I go go download them it says it's out of bandwidth

Darn it, thanks for letting me know I'll have to try somewhere else. Should be back up soon.
Ok so I put them on Dropbox, sorry no more bulk downloads for a while until I can find somewhere to host those size files. Dropbox does have a really nice gallery UI though. Enjoy
Was wondering if anybody was good at Photoshop (or any other drawing software) and especially good at drawing your own wallpaper?
I'm trying to teach myself by watching videos and just generally clicking everything until i work my way around it, although i always come across the same problem.. the wallpapers never come out HD, it always come out kind of blurry if you know what i mean.
My favorite wall-papers are those for example like Sony Ericsson, abstract i think. I'm desperate to learn how to make my own wall-papers like that, if anyone could give me any pointers cos i've seen some people creating their ownhttp://forum.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif
Btw, using Photoshop Cs5
Practice makes perfect really with these things. As long as you use an image of the correct scale so it doesnt have to be stretched or zoomed to fit the screen, what you see on the pc screen should look just as good if not better on the phone screen (since the pixels are smaller).
Create a new canvas of 1280x720 and go from there.
ah cheers, would you happen to know how they make those abstract type art, i can try, but like i said, it never pops out if you know what i mean, it always looks dull..
any photshop users ? ?
I usually like playing with polar coordinates tool. Gives a real interesting effect.
Otyerwise using the pen tool and making random lines, then right clicking and selecting stroke path (simulate pressure ticked and brush tool selected in the window). Then applying a drop shadow or outer glow couod give a cool effect with a gradient background maybe.
I usually make minimalist or really clean wallpapers so not much experience with abstract.
Just keeping practicing and reading tutorials. It can take a little while to get used to the different functions and short cuts.

I think you would be better off using Adobe illustrator.
Photo shop is designed for editing pre-made images.
Illustrator is designed to create graphics ect from scratch.
Cheers
