Metamorph Issues? - G2 and Desire Z Themes and Apps

Yes im temp-rooted to start off, i was reading that it works but im having issues, everytime i run metamorph it installs the theme but after the reboot it loads up the theme but 5mins later it gets stuck in a boot loop
Has anyone had this issue?
Am i using the wrong theme?
Is it not fully compatible with the g2 yet?

LED Me Know app

Has anybody tried this as a solution for the LED notification without rooting? I installed and it hasn't worked for me, but on the market comments for the app somebody said it works with their G2 perfectly.
Anybody get this working on their G2?

im dl now.. lets see what happens
not sure for device with out root but mines rooted and its works
how did you get it to work? im rooted too

Works for my G2
works on my g2... rooted runnin cyanogen mod 6.1.0... works like a charm. i like how one of the "unknown" colors actually makes the trackpad light up for notifications.. pretty sweet it think. give options for green led, amber led, camera led flash and trackpad.
edit: works on my g2... but kinda buggy. like when i check notifications it'll still have the flashing light.. this app does say its for the desire 2.2. so im not too worried about it. im sure dev will have a g2\desire z soon.
works on mine also
Unrooted... not working on mine.
For anyone unrooted who has this working, what settings are you using for the notifications?

worked fine on my g2. Running Visionary R10 to temp root and then running this app.
Wow! thats an awesome app! kinda buggy though... still new though. once bugs worked out, needs repeat option. that would make it perfect! good find, guys! thanks!

It asks for Superuser Permissions, so you MUST be rooted!
BUT, it's is really cool! You can have the led flash, the menu keys flash or the camera flash, flash!
It works perfectly upon download. You don't need to tweak any settings.

Strange...

Help...
So the first time I rooted and flashed my phone it locked in loop and erased my initial boot pic and has an unrevoked pic in place, I think it takes too long to boot as well, anyone ever had this happen and what can I do?

I've rooted a bunch of Evos using unrevoked with no issues. I see you have T-Mobile under your avatar.......you are talking about an Evo, right?
Hi, no, I'm with sprint now, no problems except the damn unrevoked image on initial startup, how can I change that? What have I done to change this, help...

You can search for HTC's boot animation via the Android Development thread for any of the many available boot animations for the EVO 4G. Many of the thread promoting custom roms usually have a boot animation that can be flashed.

The plain bar shows up about 3/4 of the way down the screen, then after a few seconds goes to a white screen until boot finishes. A good start, but needs some work. Thanks for the good start!
I have a stupid question, where did they locate the boot animation? I'm using the vzw s3 and I can't find it in any of the usual spots.

its in the system/media folder...if u see a anything that says boot...just add .bak to the end
Nice bootanimation. I just added a part after it to get rid of the white screen flash. I couldn't figure it out so I added a small loop of the jellybean animation.
xda won't let me upload the zip so i'll make a dropbox link. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/54761866/bootanimation2.zip
would be nice if you or someone could make a SIII version of this boot animation
Any chance for a version without the "Ice Cream Sandwich" part?

AT&t GS3 running on CM 10.1.0 RC2 theme issues

Hopefully someone can help the new guy out. I have been trying to get themes and lock screens to work for days now on my GS3 running CM10.1.0 and nothing seems to work right. Using the theme manager in the settings I keep getting an error that says my screen resolution is not right.
I have also tried using CWM recovery to load the lock screens and it says the zip was successful, but doesn't work.
Any thoughts?

It should still set reguardless of the screen resolution.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using xda premium
I know it should, but there are only pieces that set. And sometimes when I set it once part sets then I redo it again and more set.
As it comes to the lock screens they don't set at all.

Take a look at this thread. Be sure to read everything.
The golden rule is to set the default, reboot, then set the new theme...

Plus, please use the q&a section next time
Edit
Try this, you might like it, I just tested it
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vicino.theme.Woody
Remember to reboot after you apply it, and yes accept the install even with the error...
Also I'm using taskers 4.2.2 rom

Also sorry I'm still newer to the Xda forums, but I will make sure to check and also post in the q&a next time

Has the phone ever been rooted? If not you might try rooting it and installing a custom ROM. You could also have a bad partition on your phone which is why the phone won't boot to the OS. What version is your Hboot?

No its never been rooted i might try and root it today.. and its Hboot 2.18 ..how do i go about rooting and putting a custom rom
Find a post by captain throwback and check his signature. It has a link for rooting 2.18 on the mikmik forum.
