Typically 25 for clear and 35 for chormatics. I dont know, though, if they'll release chormatics for it. Phantom Skinz is hands down one of the best.

Zagg, in my opinion, is ugly, feels wrong, thick. I just don't like them. Phantom skinz are the best, chromatics are cool. Best skins ever would be second place for me. Here is a link to the carbon fiber chormatics I put on my Vibrant.

The feel is smooth like vynal but with texture. Its NOT like the clear covers most place use. I think its a little stronger but slicker so if you require a tackier grip I wouldn't go with chormatcis. I loved it personally.
I like Zagg case because it increase your phone grip, so a chromatic case doesn't do that

AFAIK the clear phontom skinz have increased grip... he was refferring to the chromatics line...
i personally find zagg products waaaaayyyy to thick...makes the screen clunky...

She is saying "optional" as in it's optional to use it. The holster is included with the case.

But without adding the "optional rubber silicone case" i dont think the 3500 will fit like the defender did "ghetto rigged" like OP said in the other thread.

I have a Trident Cyclops for my wife, she also likes to wear tight pants. It a great case with excellent protection and relatively slim.
The Defender has had some complaints regarding quality. They tried a different manufacturer, so that may be part of the problem.

For me the major difference is the fact that the speakers are also protected where on my defender the speakers are open.

I am going to buy one, because I hate having a bulky case on my phone, and wanted to know if anyone had any experience with it yet. If no one has gotten on yet ill post a small review and some pics when I get it.
I ordered one last week and it arrived about 30 minutes after I left town for the week. I'm going to install when I get home this weekend.

I bought and installed the carbon fiber from skinonmi and I get compliments all the time on it. Easy installation like the zagg, and the screen protector is awesome.

there are some pics I took real quick. Great product, more for looks tho. I def recommend it. I bought this before the phone was even released and it cost me 15 dollars direct from the website. Well depends on what your view of grippy means. Its a slick feeling skin so it slides around easy, but the only grip you really get is from the grooves or knurling in the pattern. Basicaly to answer the ? best to my ability I would say the skin provides added or great grip on the edges of the phone but for the large area of the back can be a lil Slick.

**UPDATE**
I know not many of you are into the minimal protection/"Flare" cases, so there's another way you can contribute to Case-mate extending the T989 case lineup. Goto Case-mate's Facebook page and click on the Feedback link on the left column. Search for T989 Cases and vote for it. Obviously, you can see where I'm getting at. If we can get enough votes, it would convince Case-mate to extend the lineup.

It just looks weird to be honest, dislike the open parts like the top and bottom.
Doesn't really provide protection from drops...
I LOVE the D30 case. It doesn't really add any bulk, I think it makes it more comfortable in my hands and it definitely provides the added protection.
It's either no protection and a naked phone or if I was going to use a case I'd use something that actually provided protection.

That's a case, not really a skin.
Phantomskinz chromatics skins are pretty good. They don't have any for the GS3 yet. But I got the carbon fiber look about two years ago for my HTC Glacier and it looked and held up pretty good. Installation was a little tricky, but its worth it IMO.

Ditched them and went leather. So sad.
Not really sad. Mine got pretty beat up and gunky. True leather should hold up better, but the feel of the Alcantara was nice.

I always liked the Alcantara’s non slip properties. You can place it almost anywhere on quite an angle without slipping off. I have a habit to place it on my knee while I need to do something. To date, no mishaps. Famous last words?

I take the leather, dab it with olive oil to get it soft and darker and then beat the crap out of it. In a short time you have a nice patina and good grip. The leathers always feel slippery at first but you need to wait it out until that coating comes off. Oil helps to take it away quickly and I like the look after.
ali express or bang good (one of the chinese sites) had note 9 alcantera cases cos I bought one. They are replica obvs.

What about the ones on Samsung site? I'm considering one of those.
I was unimpressed no protections at the bottom and it didn't even look or feel like leather but the inside felt like suade. The outside was slippery.
I bought the blue leather case using the 50% off on Samsung site for members. Its very nice and my fav even over 3 spigen cases I bought.
