[THEME] iammodo's froyo AOSP 18/3/11

This is a AOSP theme for the I9000
So what you get with this theme is
- Froyo AOSP ( well pretty close)
- Settings screen is extended to support the unlock screens (in display)
- 5 Unlockscreens added
- Shutdown menu is extended to support Reboot, Recovery and Download mode.

Nice although I get a problem with the display in notification drop down. Instead of no notifications or whatever it displays %-#% or something similiar. I am on docs js7. On a side note, stock mod plus (which you used as base) it works correctly for me.

In stockmod notes. It does say if you get problems with random text try full framework version. Maybe I need to edit this as well.

you need to include the .jar files aswell as the framework. This is why these errors are occouring. ALL the jars need to be included

was down to using my service. jar from jpy but the framework in this theme is JS5
so used correct service.jar and changed the clock colour all fine now.

I had some problems to accommodate my changes :/
I tested your new version on my JS7 deodex!
The Boot of Nexus and Launcher2 can be integrated?
I can do a zip if needed

But, in the tw-framework, background is transparent! Why ?
And other background is blue..

May have changed the tw-framework working out what my problems where, I can change it back for the next release
Not sure I would use the nexus boot but would use AOSP android boot ( as I do on my phone)
will include launcher2 in next version as well.
Off work tomorrow as well so will do some system app theming as well.
So happy its working and you like it.
really need to take some more screen shots as well.

[THEME]Gingerbread Theme - Version 1.5.3 (21/06/11)

Hello GUIse
Just to pre-warn you before we get into the good stuff, this is my first ever attempt at porting/customising a theme so please bare with me as I prepare to get everything sorted.
Enough of my babbling, you want a theme right? Well, look below and you will see the awesomeness
Here's a few things you need:
- A Galaxy S II (Obviously)
- A Fully Deo-Dexed ROM (Working on Lite'ning ROM 1.4 at the moment)
- A bit of patience (As I said, first ever attempt at porting a theme)
- A ROM that already has Advanced Power Menu Pre-loaded
- A ROM that already has the Overscroll & CRT Effect
Villain ROM 1.2 User's
According to a reliable source the theme DOES work on VR1.2 with the CWM4 Kernel (By Chainfire) also, remember to apply the permissions fix via the VRTweaks app BEFORE applying this theme.

This theme doesn't work with VR1.1 (Creates multiple FC's) if you want me to make a VR1.1 version please upload your framework-res.apk, systemui.apk & settings.apk in a ZIP file and I will make one (Or ask Vertumus)

Installation Instructions **Now Flashable via CWM!**
1. Download the ZIP file from the download section below and DO NOT unzip it
2. Copy the .ZIP file to your INTERNAL SD card
3. Boot your phone into Clockwork Recovery (When phone is turned off hold Vol Up, Home & Power Button until CWM Appears)
4. Select 'Install ZIP from SD Card'
5. Select 'Choose Zip from SD Card'
6. Then select the .ZIP file you downloaded and placed on your internal sd card
This should then boot into my theme.

Thanks. Put stock GB battery icon with % as the main one, but also give possibility to others who like lime battery icon (the one from screenshots).
If you follow original thread (SGS1 forum), developer of this theme ock, did the same . Same theme but with various modifications to suite range of needs from users

Go to your User CP, click Edit Your Details on the left sidebar, then scroll down. The last blank is the Paypal Donation Email blank. Enter your paypal email there.
Looking forward to this btw. Any chance of changing the WiFi icon in the pull-down panel (the quick on/off button) to the GB icon too? I don't particularly care for the scrawny little Samsung icon lol.

I'm at work at the moment (Finish at 15:30 GMT) I'll be home for 4PM and then I will be finishing the initial release off. Just to pre warn you, this isn't flashable via CWM yet, it's just the case of using Root Explorer to copy and replace.
I'm unsure on how to get CWM working on this.

Nice work It looks nice and beautiful, Samsung graphics are terrible.
But why are you doing this to VillainROM? It's been inactive for many weeks and Lite'nin is more popular so I'd assume even more people are gonna switch to Lite'nin rom in the future.

This theme is intended to bring the best audio-visual experience from your SGS I9000.
Most of the icons used the theme were made by modifying images obtained through the internet.

You may download the images and view it from your SGS gallery to know exactly how it looks on your device, before installing the actual theme.
INSTRUCTIONS
- Download the zip file.
- If you don't want the ringtones or UI tones, you may delete them from the folder \system\media in the zip file.
- If you want the media tones, make sure that the system has enough space. It is recommended to make a backup of your original files using a root explorer. It is also recommended to delete the original files to provide more space in the system.
- The modded lag-free browser is NOT entirely bug-free. If you have a better browser you may delete this from the zip file (\system\app).
- If you don't want the modded Camera you may delete it from the zip file (\system\app).
- If you have any lag-fix enabled, it is recommended to disable it before installing.
- Install the zip file using CWM.
- Candy Real Go Launcher Theme will be found in the folder 'aa Candy Real' in the internal SD Card after installing the theme. You may install it from there.
- To change Lock-screens go to settings and use the Lockscreen Menu.
- Use JKay's app to customize JKay's Lock-screen and Extended Power Menu ONLY.

XWKK5 with JKay V13.3.8 released, I now changed the standard JKay icons on aosp lockscreen to mine, so you don't have to set them if you don't change the shortcuts, I also changed back to the old default wallpaper and changed the lockscreen wall to my current

First I've to say great job!!!
Tried to write you a pm but I can't attach so here we go:
When I slide do unlock or anything else the colors seems to be changed. So I've modified the stock/jkay sliders an now the match perfect with yours. Here are my files from the framework-res.apk which you may want to include in your release.
Anyway... If you don't wan't that I "publish" some modified graphics please let me know by pm. Thanks in advance and keep up the awesome work!
EDIT: The attached file is only useful for dtekkt, so don't download and try to patch

really? i always kinda liked the htc themes by jkay...the transparency there is imho perfect and suits the pitch black curtain.
just a thought though a black curtain without the seperators, a little transparency and ur icons as they are would look nice imho but never mind...was just a thought. it looks awesome as it is as well! thx

I like very much the transparency, so I'd like to share with you my theme!
This theme is tested and working on the amazing CM9 of arco68 RC2.
APKS MODDED AND RELATIVE FEATURES:
-framework-res.apk --> all the apps that depend from framework-res will have transparent background (like settings and clock for example)
-Contacts.apk --> transparent dialer
-Mms.apk -->transparent messages app
-SystemUI.apk(in addition with the other zip) -->transparent status bar
-Calendar.apk -->transparent calendar
-Trebuchet.apk -->transparent app drawer of the launcher
KNOWN ISSUES:
-Contacts list is not transparent for now. I will update the theme when I will fix this.
-Calendar is too dark
[When I will fix this problems, the final release of the theme will be released (if there aren't particular requests from users)]
INSTALLATION:
-go recovery and make a nandroid(the tool makes a flashable backup, but have always a nandroid ready for unespected problems)
-flash the zip (thanks to the Universal Flasher Tool by JRsoft & Intronauta)
-reboot and enjoy
[NOTE: if you don't want a feature of the theme, after downloading the zip, before flashing it, just delete the apk that you don't want from /XTRAS/system/app. Don't remove framework-res.apk or the theme won't work. Only Trebuchet.apk works without framework-res.apk]

Transparent status bar: 50% HERE(reccomended) or 100% HERE
[NOTE: the theme will work completely only if you flash it on "pure" cm9. If you have some mod installed maybe the theme won't work perfectly]

CHANGELOG(current V5):
V1: added framework-res.apk and Contacts.apk (in addition also SystemUI.apk)
V2: added Mms.apk
V3: added Calendar.apk

V5: now all parts of Mms.apk are ok, in particular:
-fixed too dark "send message" image
-fixed too dark number of messages near the name
-fixed too dark text when searching a person
OTHER NOTES:
Trebuchet.apk is the only apk that for now works without framework-res.apk. So if you want only Trebuchet with transparent drawer download Glass Theme and delete all apks except Trebuchet.apk (delete framework-res too).

I flashed v1and i lost my status bar. I flashed v2 and i had my status bar but after few seconds it starts rebooting. And you 100%transperent status bar...well when i flash it i lose my status bar and my wallpaper becomes blank. Why?. Also the Launchers that i have are.. Tocuhwiz 4.5, Nova and Trebuchet. I also have the Touchwiz UX Adoon installed.

only you had problems..sure that you have cm9 and not another rom?

@spadda can you make mods for battery bar like in aokp? A battery meter that can be place on top of the status bar. Not a battery icon but battery bar. If you know what i'm saying. Thanks

There. Just look on the top of my status bar. You will see a blue line. That's the battery meter i meant

Pure cm9 from Arco. Alpha 8. And if I install any battery mods from Sharan...which modifies the systemui....I get systemui has stopped...

if you don't install the other mods it works? my mod works perfectly on cm9 build 7, maybe on cm9 build 8 doesn't work but i don't have tested it for now!

Only 50% transperent Bar worked. Then none of them worked in build 7.

i can't understand the problem. there are only a few people that can't use my mods. to all the rest work perfectly! in my italian forum my mods work to all the people. i will give a look to my works and sorry for the problems

i've tested this theme on cm9 alpha 8 and it works perfectly
if it doesn't work check some things:
-have cm9 alpha 7/8 installed
-have system theme
-try to start from non modded apks, use the "pure" apks
