HTC Sense Live Wallpaper on Galaxy S? - Galaxy S I9000 Themes and Apps

I am wondering if there is any way to get the Sense Live wallpaper working with the Galaxy S - It works perfectly when installed via CM on my Nexus One but when installing on the SGS it shows up as a selectable LWP but it does not run.
Not sure if it is missing a library or not and also not sure how to look for these things.

i also try to flash but it doesn't work....can someone fix it????

it requires htc sense franework.

I dont think it does - it runs on my nexus one with Cyanogenmod. The wallpaper does include some libraries from the sense framework. I am thinking the install is copying these libraries to the wrong location.

Not work~beiju

Does someone know how to get work that?

Installed the apk but just black screens...
If anyone can extract the animation images you can use lwpcreator to make it animation.... Did it with a honeycomb boot ani.

[REQ] Crt off lockscreen theme

Hi I'd ask if someone can port HTC's crt off lockscreen from froyo to gingerbread. I saw it on my friends HTC desire hd2 and its way better than the existing ones on the forum (all of them have those black and white pixels while locking the screen. At least the ones I tried ). Thanks in advance.

After the first install, the crt effect is perfect but after a reboot the bug of white pixels is back. I find it on VR 2.0, MIUI or after the install of a framework apk on the KG1 stock rom.
Id like to see this aswell!
Well I'm using lite'ning rom 2.1 with mojito theme and everything works perfect except that and on HTC it works as sweet ad candy hehe

Is it possible for me to somehow take framework-res.apk from my friends htc (he's running 2.3.4 version of android like me) and get crt off effect as clean as his?

Firstly HTC never made a CRT off or used it in any official rom, its a Samsung/Google thing so he is already using a port. Secondly if you take CRT from any phone it will still be messed up on the SGS2. Lets hope its proper fixed in CM7

Mine is always 100% fine up until I open my advanced power menu. Then I get the bug, which is cleared by a reset.

[Q] Are there any CM7 custom lockscreens

Simple question is there a custom cm7 lockscreen? I found one for metamorph but I can't seem to get it too work. I have it morphed in but for some reason a no go.
Here is what I tried: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=959602&page=85
You have to put the morph you want in the android themes folder open metamorph and hit extract new theme and then apply all sometimes you have to do it twice then reboot

I've never had good luck with metamorph, it seems really buggy to me. I'd like to get some lockscreen customization too, but I just haven't found a very good solution.

May not be what you want to do, but Widget Locker will allow you to do pretty much anything you want to your lockscreen. Using CM 7 you can also go into the settings for Tablets and disable the stock lock screen. It works out pretty well.

[REQ]Could someone port this live wallpaper over??

This is the "Ocean Live" live wallpaper from the Galaxy series of phones, but I am unable to get it to load under ICS. It will install but then FC upon trying to set it as wallpaper.
I want this one too but not likely. As far as i tried no one could even get it working for gingerbread.

ICS lockscreen question

Is it possible to "transplant" an ICS lockscreen (ie from juggernaut 5.0) and install on another ROM?
I'm using MALICE now, with Eugene's new kernel. I'm tech savvy with some things but a noob with this stuff.

my lockscreen is transparent. I'm not exactly sure what's the process, but I had a picture from my gallery on there, and I flashed another ROM or something along those lines and the screen is transparent, probably because I don't have that picture anymore? not sure? You can try deleting the picture after you set it?
Sorry I don't know the exact way to do it, but it is possible.
What I did was download go launcher
Then I downloaded go locker then found the ics theme lockscreen then I set the default launcher for whichever rom I was running(don't pick go launcher). And boom ics lockscreen on the rom and you don't even have to run go luncher you just have to download it for the locker to work....probably not the way you wanted but that's probably the easiest way...ha

@teo032
I think he meant transplant not transparent. As far as making your lockscreen "transparent" goes, all you need to do is go to cwm and fix permissions, then reboot. It will remove the assigned lockscreen .jpeg file to none.
@evanladoux
Implementing a lockscreen to be built in to a rom is very long process and it requires that you understand programming fairly well.
Yea lockscreens never used to be hard, but in GB witb samsung, its a pain.
M&S
Thank you everybody for your replies.
I was looking to get a built in lockscreen rather than Go Locker, which is what I just went with.
I was hoping it might be as easy as unzipping a ROM, & rename/copy/paste a few files into the DD folders.
Its fine until we have a fully functional TMO ICS. I use Wifi Calling a LOT, so, the current batch of ICS ROMs won't work for me as a DD, though I appreciate all the dev's work to provide (ie M&S .. too many to list)

rosie.apk on another handset

can rosie be transferred to say a galaxy s3 for example??
There's only one way to find out

unfortunately my galaxy s3 hasn't arrived yet until tommorow lol so I can't find out
I don't think, you can do something by just transferring the apk!

Uh, I do not think htc loves this kinds of threads. I remember how they took down the app(s) on the market that had the sense clock look.
Anyway you are on the wrong forum?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1686118
the answer you are looking for is NO!
it can be done but the sense launcher is not used by just rosie.apk
it is integrated with the sense framework which you would also need to port over to your device of choosing (note port and not copy)
My guess is no. I assume rosie would require Sense framework, so apk file alone wont do, just like we cannot have Sense Camera on CM9 just yet. Maybe try Sense theme on custom launcher.
Porting Rosie would mean porting Sense. Simple as that
