I don't fully understand. Do you want this for phone bootup, instead of the Xperia-Thingy?

Okay, so it should be right there when you turn on the phone just instead of the logo? Are you aware of the fact that animation is not possible at this stage, so it would have to be a still image? If that's what you want, I might create it for you.

I think thats what he is looking for. In the quoted thread is a boot image, too. No animation.
I like the idea of such a bootscreen .
Okay, I'll do it for ya. DO you want HTC Logo or SE Logo or both or none?

Yo this is for you. Unpack and put in \Windows\ folder, replacing the existing file (Use Resco Explorer for this). Make sure you have a backup of the original.

I "developed" it for R2A official ROM. Not sure about your ROM. I haven't even tried it on my phone myself. What do you see when you boot your phone (Directly at the beginning!)? SE logo?
As far as I know you have to add your boot screen (green se logo on default) to your Rom *.nbh file before you flash ist.
With a simple file replacement you can change the green windows boot/ welcome screen. Look in the splash screen thread from gtrap . I think I'll replace the windows one with the bios splash. easier^^

I see your point but you're wrong. ActiveSync and normal file explorer will prevent you from replacing the fiel because it's "part of the ROM". But that's just a sort of file attribute, like read-only. Using Resco Explorer you can easily replace it. I think the other ROM just has the pic remapped to another location or something. But of course you can use it instead of the Windows Picture if you like. But I think this one's PNG and probably the size is different, so just make sure you adjust this. Otherwise it's no problem, it's just not very logical to show BIOS info when the phone has already booted (Almost)
Thank you very much for your help, but this is not what i've requested, i want one for XPERIA just like the one for Touch HD (link in the first post), and yes it is a *nbh that you have to flash, and it replaces the SE logo bootscreen(the first thing that shows up on your phone when you switch it on) not the green windows mobile.

because it really is part of the bootloader, ie the bit the loads the operating system..
So if you copy across a file to /windows it wouldn't be accessible till the OS loads.
here's the linky to DIY it

Hi,
Just to confirm what I am reading, this is just a .bmp replacement for the boot screen correct? It does not actually show the radio, ram, memory, ROM version, etc that is read from the device like a regular bios boot screen?
thanks

Hello everybody!
It is possible to remove or change startup (boot) animation (logo) installed by operator, ex. O2?
Thanks for your reply.

You Are Right. We Need To W8t...
BTW Check PM M8T...
If you have omnia 7 then you could flash the newest firmware und it'll become unbranded. I did the same a week ago and now my omnia is t-mobile crap free
Is there any firmware for Samsung Focus?
now instead of just figuring out how to get rid of the splash screen i'm looking forward to seeing it being changeable.. custom splash screen like WM

But exactly as the sir before me said, THIS topic is all about wp7.
You cant get rid of the boot logo as of yet (i have the HD7, so its HTC logo)..
but, you can change the carrier logo..
using the touchxplorer app, i was able to find the image... in my case it is called 'mologo.bmp'.
i replaced that with one of my choosing, and now i see it when i start my phone.

I didnt do anything reg related for mine. i just searched all .png .jpg and .bmp in the windows folder to find the logo... once that was done, i just overwrote the file with my own.

OK all, mologo.bmp is in the windows folder, thanks for the find Joe...respects.
However replaced mine and i don't get anything, no Orange logo or the one i replaced it with....now goes from the HTC screen to windows phone screen, But at least the bloody Orange junk has gone!!!!!
trying to delete and got message:
"Unable to delete file {0}." in TouchXplorer
this might help, follow this thread

I'm just after flashing this as i was looking to move to Turbo UI from Australia. So i flashed boot_zeus_turbo-v3.1 reboot the phone and it shows the menu. I go to the next screen and select First/Internal slot and then select "TWRP Recovery" and it shows up "TWRP Loading" but it doesn't do anything after that. It just stays showing TWRP Loading. I'm just wondering have i missed out on a step or gone wrong somewhere?

nice to know..
Hello everyone,
For no apparent reason, yesterday my Nexus 5X (android 8.0, stock rom) shutdown and since, I can't turn it on again (stuck at google logo then turn off).
I found lot of topics related to this situation except I can't follow any of them since there is always a requirement I can't fullfill:
-I can't access recovery mode (it shows the "google" logo)
-My phone isnt oem unlock, so I tried to use the fastboot utility but it tells me "failed remote oem unlock is not allowed".
I found out that was because of the ADB driver so I tried to install them but I can't : i've tried using the google usb driver from the sdk manager but adb still tells me he can't find any device.
-Lot of tutorial talks about the device manager page but there is no "android phone" in mine...
I can only access the fastboot mode and I can flash some of the part of the tell (like boot, radio...) using nrt but not "recovery".
Someone has a solution ?
Thanks

Turn off phone put it in refrigerator's top portion for 10 to 15 mints that way u ll boot your phone normally, if you cant then try to put it in there for longer. and once you boot it then go to developers option and enable that OEM unlock thingy and then do the rest. I hope it will work for you.

Exactly this is the only way you could boot the device normally
Do not take it out of the freezer, let it boot completely Toggle the oem unlock and then do all those things
Sad part is, after all of this life of your phone will only extent to max 3-4 more months only
