Gmail is force closing, can't open it up. - EVO 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am having a problem when I click on the Gmail app I get an error message that says the aplication android.process.gmail has stopped working and force closes. I have a rooted evo with Myn's 2.2 and Netarchy NoHAVS kernel. Backed up everything with Titanium 3 days ago when I was on CM6 and then made the switch. I'm now having problems with Gmail.
EDIT: Gmail will open after I reboot, but then I have the same problem again after waiting a little bit.

there's a recent gmail update, have you installed it?
it fixed gmail FC's for me

Cyanogenmod 6 messaging app force close

I am running the new Cyanogen and just recently when I got home, my text messages won't open. I can get to the list of people, but when I try to open them to see the thread of messages, it force closes. I have rebooted quite a few times and still doesnt work.
Does anyone have a apk i can run to fix this, or just anyway that I might be able to fix this?
It is still doing this after I flashed the new nightly build.
Very frustrating.
Some people have fixed messaging issues by using the Handcent app

Gmail Add Account Force Close

Anyone experience FORCE CLOSE when trying to add a second gmail account?
Also - is there no ACCOUNTS/Sync menu in the settings for Touchwiz?
Recently I started to notice this same issue. Initially when I got the phone and did my setup, I was able to input all three of my gmail accounts without no problems.
I started noticing this force close error after I rooted the phone and did a factory restore. After that gmail never functioned the same. Presently I am using the mail app that came with the phone. I have put the gmail app on hold until a solution is found.
Uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't help.
ya i have mine rooted, and it doesnt work. rooting should make a difference though.
weird.

[Q] I just updated to CM7. A lot of apps don't work. Help!

Handcent, PowerAmp, and Lookout Mobile Security to name a few aren't working. I restored them using Titanium Backup. Any ideas why they force close when I open them? Handcent doesn't even show up in the market.
Not only that, but messaging flat out won't work. It keeps force closing.
Update: I odined to the EH17 with CM7 and that seemed to solve the problem. Damn this thing is fast now! My only gripe is the video processing. Once that gets taken care of, this ROM ROCKS!

[Q] Warm 2.3 - Gmail crashing.

Hey guys, installed Warm 2.3 recently and so everything is running except Gmail. Everytime I click the icon it crashes and throws the Add"%s" to dictionary, edit text, which from my understanding is a force close. Is there anyway to uninstall and reinstall the gmail application?
Thanks for your time.

android.process.acore has stopped

I have a Verizon LG G3 running stock/rooted 4.4.2.
Today, for the 2nd time, I started receiving the unfortunately, the android.process.acore has stopped error It pretty much just constantly pops up, non stop.
Last time a few months back, I fixed it with a factory reset (annoying).
Today, it started again. I tried clearing contacts and contacts storage and google service framework, but none of that helped.
Wound up doing another factory reset.
This time, it was working fine until I added an exchange account to sync calendar and email and then I started getting the error again. I don't think that was the trigger though because of what else I figured out.
It appears as if I uninstall facebook, the error goes away. I tried uninstalling facebook, clearing contacts and contacts storage and then reinstalling, but it starts again once it gets reinstalled.
I've done this back and forth enough times now that it's clearly being caused by the facebook install. It starts as soon as I log into facebook after I install it.
I guess at least it's nice to know I can uninstall facebook and I'm good, but I want to use the facebook app still.
So now what?
I have the same problem but it's with WeChat.
Here's something you can try.
I went into Phone --> Settings and select only to display contacts from Gmail. It stopped error.
