It seems to work fine on the Mozart.
Question. If I don't own an XBOX, can I still get XBOX live and play games on the HD7?

I should think so as most likely a lot of WP7 users won't have the console.
Yes, you can make xbox live friends etc, you can make an account and still play online with it. I think MS kinda realized that not every businessman on the planet has an xbox. I made my first xbox live account before I even owned an xbox, I am sure you can log in and do everything the same, I just hope you don't need gold to play online xD

I don't have an X-box, but I do have a live account on Xbox, and Games for Windows as well, where I use the arcade which shows up. But there is no where I can make my 3D Avatar, so I hope I will be able to do that with the phone.

Remember, you don't need to pay for XBL to use it on WP7. WP7 only requires XBL Silver (free version). You only need Gold if you're going to play online multiplayer on the actual console.

i know there are website taht u can watch tv on dash. i lost it and can someone tell me the link?
Use Orb if you have a tv tuner card, anything else, SUCKS.
I use Slingbox, but you have to buy a receiver for that, just like a tuner card.
Either way, the only way you are watching some tv on your phone is to shill out some $$$$$$$$$$$
That's it, unless you already have the stuff to stream your tv.
try justin tv for manly sport and ovgiude is a great site for tv show

I have actually 7 types of TV on all My Mobiles. Below in photo #1 they are 2 different types of Live TV in one slide slot and the other one is {ORB}. I have several Slingboxes and a TV tuner card for {ORB} live TV/music/video home entertainment anywhere on the planet. For Vista and XP Media Center Users threre is WebGuide4 http://www.asciiexpress.com/webguide/download.aspx which will setup your PC for content (including TV) streaming via a web interface. I've used it and I was impressed.
Also thanks to Technology for the http://www.streams4pda.com link. I've been looking for something like that.
I said earlier, unless you want something that isn't really tv, it's gonna cost you. I'd hardly call PocketTv mobile or mobi-tv or whatever a REAL tv on your dash. Like I said, spend some money and buy a tv tuner card, hook it up and use Orb, or
BUY SLINGBOX. It is the only REAL way to send ACTUAL CABLE TV to your phone other than ORB, which kinds sucks, too due to bandwidth.
Technology is smart, he's right for the most part. He uses Slingbox, he also loves some video on his phone, so maybe he's not the best to ask what is really tv and what isn't, since if it's video, then it's awesome for him.
By the way, NO OFFENSE TO YOU TECHNOLOGY, I respect the hell out of you, I am not trying to contradict what you were saying earlier, it's just that you use Slingbox, and I do too, so WE know that this is REAL tv, whereas everything else is basically a cheap imitation, RIP-OFF.
Don't waste your time unless you are looking for free tv with shows like "Baking with Zandir" or "Kitten Cuddly Time" or local news updates in Botswana or sports in Canada (No offense to Botswana or Canada, I'm sure both places are nice in their own rite). Long story short, buy a damn slingbox or tuner card or shut the f**k up!!
SlingBox A Must Got To Have
I never leave home without my Slingbox, wherever I go, my SlingBox goes via SlingPlayer Mobile. You never know when you might need live TV. Everybody will be jumping ship, as soon as TMO'S 3g network comes to there neck of the woods, then you will be able to stream it all without a problem, but the SlingBox is a must got to have.............!

I use all the player above and more using Edge and wifi......! If you want to make the TCPMP/Player the default player, just install the Codecs Plugins.zip Pak to Your SD Card. Next go to the File Association area on the TCPMP/Player and check mark ALL the blocks, this enable your TCPMP/Player to become the default player on your mobile device. You can find the Codecs Plugins.zip in my other thread "YouTube Full DeskTop Version {FlashvideoBundle.cab} ect.............!

dont want to spend out that much to be disappointed, will test the free versions and get back (THE MARKET WONT LET ME), but why should we have to hack our phones to get games to work, the SGS2 is one of the biggest selling devices out there, I just don't understand

How is chainfire plugin considered hacking? Outside of requiring root, it's just an app that acts as an intermediate driver to translate device specific codes into standard openGL.
Have you tried to click on the little + under the message of non-compatibilty?
If you try so, you'll see that it's not compatible due to country restritions.
Try searching for the EA game you want, and pick the one developed by Electronic Arts Nederland B.V.

I just got to thinking about this. I mean besides the cool factor is there any other real reason to output your phones screen to your tv? If you have the adapter and whole hdmi out setup what do you use it for? I guess it would be neat for me for about 10min on my 51" but I can't see any real use.
I've paired mine with ps3 controller and use it to emulate ps1,genisis,snes,nes..and then hook up to TV..now o got a sweet time killer...

I thought about the whole movie thing. But with all the streaming media devices people probably already have I still don't get it. Maybe I'm assuming to much but any 360 or ps3 can stream just about anything you'd want imo. Pictures I'll never understand, I don't need to see a picture on an lcd. Presentations I can see that for the business guys who need it. Playing games, aren't you still tethered to a cord?

I have not done it with this phone since I have yet to buy the cable, but with my Vibrant's TV out all the time, its easier to put the movies on the Phone instead of the game console since im connected to it more often and using the Laptop means if my wife wants to use the laptop she cant without interrupting the movie. (She could ealk the 8 FT to the desktop.. but thats niether here nor there ) As far as games, even though your tethered atleast with the vibrant, it wasnt that bad.. kinda makes the device the console and controller in one and with all of these newer games coming out its pretty nice on my 46". just my 10 cents
Here is the best reason. the NBA league pass for mobile is only $40. I plug my phone to my TV and bam! No need to pay the $160.

I've used it to watch episodes of missed drama my family likes but you need to find good quality because anything over 40'' will look blurry.

I would like to know this as well. I've read elsewhere that they block it from HDMI out, but would like to know if anyone has any experience with this and also if there is some way around it with a rooted device. (ie freezing some background app like you can do with the one they use to block free tethering).
This question goes for about every non-Playstation certified device. I was wondering if it would be possible to get the Playstation Suite on the Kindle Fire. It would just be cool if someone could get the PS Suite working on this since Sony DEFINITELY won't be teaming up with Amazon. We have so many Rom's that masquerade as other devices so I thought maybe we could have the PS Suite on this. Any answer would be nice! If not I still have a PS Vita so i'll live.

It's a service from Sony where they distribute certain PS1 and PSP classics ported to work on Android devices. Also we could use cloud storage or maybe an OTG cable + flash drive.

So how are you connecting the controller to it? Via Bluetooth? I have a PS4 controller connected via Bluetooth and the latency issues were unreal and all the fixes I did didn't help. I ended up just using a cable to connect I directly which then works flawlessly.
Let me know, I'm curious.

I might have to pick up one of these once fortnite hits Android. The description on the Amazon product page references that lag is less than 6 seconds. I don't know if that's a typo or translation problem, but any kind of lag beyond a few ms is going to horrible for any fps game. Have you tried it with any?

Game support can be hit or miss. Most emulators or games with on screen controls tend to work. Most decent button remappers require root these days (someone prove me wrong )
