free rubberized hard case - Captivate Accessories

I received a RED rubberized snap-on hard case for the Captivate by mistake from an ebay seller. This great seller immediately corrected the mistake and sent me the proper case I wanted, and let me keep the hard case. Great seller!
At any rate, I don't need this hard case. Its unused, although I did open the package to look at it.
Here is a link to an orange case, I cannot find a red one on ebay. It is bright and a bit iridescent like this one, but RED:

If you want it, private message me your address (USA only) and I will mail it to you. Free. It's not worth the hassle of collecting the postage. My only request is that you use it and post a review. That way we all learn something. ;-)

So speaking of cases. I got this one case that i love. It is a soft gel skin case.
It doesnt add too much bulk to the phone. It doesnt block any buttons.
I havent dropped this phone but i feel that using this case it should be able to absorbed the fall. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking into for a protective case.

Vinyl Skins for Archos 101/70

Hi guys. I posted this in General this morning, but I think this is a better place... if a mod sees this please move/delete the post in General.
Check this: http://www.decalgirl.com. I know this place from some time already when I bought them for my iPod.
They make vinyl adhesive covers for almost every device in the world, and some of them look really cool, specially the rugged ones. The material (rugged) has very good quality and they send it by regular mail including a key to download the desktop wallpaper that fits EXACTLY with the design, making the customization very good.
Its very easy to place as the adhesive material which is made of can be placed and removed as many times as you need, and it will keep your device away from dirt and scratches. You can even have more than one and switch them when you want, as they're easy to remove and they can be placed again even if several days/weeks have passed.
Yesterday I went to check if they had covers for the Archos 70IT, and found they only have for the 10.1, the 4.3 and the old archos as the 7HT, that's slightly different from 70IT, so they wouldn't fit.
I posted a "Device Suggestion" asking them if they would support the Archos 70IT in a near future, and this is their reply:
We do not have that device currently. What I can do though is have it added to our list of devices to discuss with our development team.
If the device is really being marketed or we get a great response from consumers there may be a great chance we will do it.
We release about 4-5 devices per month so are always looking for devices to bring in.

Maybe if enough of us ask them to make it, they will do... I would love to get covers for the A70IT cause they make it look really cool and customized. Will anyone lend a hand and help me asking them to make it?
Cheers
They seem expensive at $20. For press/apply vinyl, I wouldn't expect to pay more than $5. There are folio cases available in the $20 range, after all.

I agree they're expensive.. but anyway, folio cases and this kind of vinyl skins are not the same animal...
Guess you're paying the design and giving your device a "unique" or "cool" looking more than protecting it...

Skinomi has skins that come with screen protectors. They have clear, carbon fiber, and natural wood skins. Unfortunately the carbon fiber and the wood skins for the 70 still show out of stock when you try and order them. I plan on getting the dark wood skin once they are available. 24.95 for the 70 skin and you can usually find a coupon to use with the purchase with a quick Google search. They also have a lifetime replacement guarantee.
Skinomi is finally are showing the Carbon Fiber and Natural Wood skins for the 70s as in stock. Just ordered the Dark Wood skin. They are $24.95, used the coupon code "get25" to save 25% and it was free shipping. All together cost $18.71.
Hello,
OMFG They are really expansive i got an rubber case for about 15DOLLARS.

Where to get the T-Mobile gel skin except from tmobile?

Hello, Now I'm trying to find a best gel skin for my vibrant. It sees that the gel skin selled by tmobile is very well. But they call for $16.9
Is there any other place that we can buy this gel skin? I mean the same gel skin.
Or any other suggestions about gel skin? what I need is good feeling, not pick up dust, fit well.
Thanks
sometime people sell those on ebay
How much are you looking to spend on one? I have a slightly used on if you're interested
It seems that tmobile's gel skin will get lots of dust, anyone has other suggestions for gel skins?
I would say dont get a gel skin case. Get a TPU case.
Just go to your local mall they should have them in stands for about 10 bucks each ...that's how we have them

Oooh... Amazon is your friend on this one. They have tons of cheap crap for the Vibrant. It'll take a week to get to you, but I paid ~$4 for a gel skin and it's not so bad. There is a hard plastic case on there as well...don't buy it. It was the cheapest one and it broke in about three days.
Edit: Lucky - I was lazy and didn't post a link. But! I'm here to redeem myself. I think this is the one that I got. Either way, it's $2.49 and worth a go!

My TPU Fusion Review

So I ended up wanting a MT4G case and came across this site through a friend who bought a similar case from ambitronic.com.
Wondering whether to get the TPU Fusion Case? Look no further!
Shipping:
The product came relatively fast. When I got my final order, all they allowed was first class shipping, but it was only about $3. I ordered my product on Saturday, was notified that it shipped out on Sunday, and it came on Tuesday afternoon.
The website said that it was "delivered" on Monday when I checked, but when I went to check the UPS tracking number it just said sorted. So if you're wondering why the case hasn't come, check the UPS site and be patient, it's worth it!
Pricing/Value:
This is where the product shines. The case was only $3.40, and I bought a $0.95 screen protector with it. I also used a promotional code that docked off 10%. Unfortunately, shipping was $2.95 (still not that bad for first-class), so my total came out to be $6.87.
The Product(s):
I bought two things:
The Black TPU Fusion Case, and
a MT4G Screen Protector
The case itself is pretty good. All the holes are in the right places, and it fits really well. It does not add any noticeable bulk, and although it was somewhat difficult to get it on my MT4G in the beginning, it gets easier as time goes. The side grips are really nice (they're textured for easier grip), and I have 99% confidence that I won't break my phone as long as I have this case (the other 1% is if I keep it in the washing machine ). I had an issue with the power button being too hard to press at the outset, but as time went by, the issue got better and it's much easier to hit the power button.
Note: The TPU Fusion cases for this product only come in Black (+$0.45), Clear (+$0.45), and Red. I got the black one, and it looks really sleek on my black MT4G.
Now, the screen protector on the other hand was not useful at all. The product said that it would come with a soft card, but it did not. The thing also did not come with any instructions, so I ended up having to check how to install it on XDA. After cleaning the glass screen with the microfiber cloth and applying the screen protector, there were too many air bubbles, and I realized that the screen protector collected dust quite easily. I ended up having to trash it.
Overall:
4.75/5
Great product, great company.
-0.15 for the worthless screen protector
-0.10 for only 1 shipping option (shipping ended up being about 45% of the cost, but it was relatively cheap, so I can't complain too much).
Get it here.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So I shot them an email, and here's what I got:
Hi, thank you for your honest opinion on our product and service. Your support is really important to us. We have just issued you $0.8 credit (Rounded it up) via paypal.
Regarding the screen protector issue, it used to include a soft card inside the package but it seems our supplier did not include it in this shipment. We have removed the word "soft card" from our description to avoid being misleading.
If you did not get another screen protector for the Mytouch 4g yet, we would like to re-send you the screen protector for free. Hopefully, this time it can do its job. Please let us know and have a good night!
Sincerely,
Dale

+1 this is a good case for the money. My only issue was had to enlarge the hole for the charging micro usb port, for use with my charger.

This review made me buy one ... good job
Lol, made me buy one also. I also read the extended battery thread and that made me buy one before I read this. Now I don't know which to put on unless I cut the case to fit the battery.

Dam impulse buys LOL
Exactly. I may just cut the TPU case to fit the battery.
I did not like this case. I found it to added far too bulk to the phone.
However....I cut the top off of it and hot glued the case to the armrest in my car. (It looks clean I swear!) So now I have a great holder that my phone slides in and out of easily that keeps it nice and secure where I can see the screen to know who's calling before answering on the bluetooth.
It's a GREAT phoen case for this purpose. And I'm thrilled with my purchase.

I got a TPU Fusion case when I got my phone. I'm pretty pleased with it overall. The grips on the sides make the phone feel much more secure in my hand.
Thank you for your support. It is good to see people like this TPU Fusion design.
I bought a similar tpu, but the hole where u charge the phone was too little and cause of that i couldnt charge it well so i decided to throw it away

Black Double Layer Kickstand Hard Case

Search ebay ( can not post links yet )
Did anyone buy this case ? and how is it ?
They make similar cases for other versions of SG2 and they have belt clip
as well for them . Except for this one. I was wondering if maybe we can use belt clip from the other and case from this one.
I have tried to contact a seller about this but to no avail.
You can post an item number cant you?

ordered one as well, will let people know how the fitment etc is.
thanks op for the info. looks like a decently protective case for a decent price.
anyone else order one and then recieved an email back saying the one you ordered was out of stock and to choose another one? i told the seller to send me another color i preferred and have not heard back from him yet.
This is the Reiko case, you can see a better review of it here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1433988
I bought one a couple weeks ago, so far I'm liking it. It's a dust magnet, like all these rubberized cases are, but the fit is VERY snug. If you don't mind the extra bulk, it's really a damn solid case. (And for the price you can't beat it.)
That seller has some nice looking cases.
Got mine today. I really like it, but it adds A LOT of bulk.
Sent from my SGH-T989 using XDA App
i recieved mine today. first off they were out of stock of the black ones he just forgot to unlist it, but he was real understanding and sent me another color. shipping was quick. the plastic part seems pretty cheaply made, but it fits perfect, snaps together fine, pretty comfy case. all in all i give it 7 outta 10.
I bought one of these too & just got it today. It's a very solid case & adds quite a bit of bulk to the phone, so people who like a minimalistic look probably won't like it. The plastic shell feels kinda cheap and the power button isn't as prominent as my ballistic case, but overall I really like it. I got the purple & black one, and the purple is a nice dark shade, NOT pink, hooray!

who is using the free case?

I wasn't expecting to find a case with the phone package. But I quite like it, although I'm still on the look out for flip down leather case as I prefer those type of cases.
As it's plastic it'd scratch real easily plus without the case I'm scared to drop it
It all depends on how you handle your phone, and where u keep it while outside. I got the Olixar silicone case.
What's plastic?
I'm using the case provided in the box but as it's not clear(dotted surface), it masks off the excellent holographic effect. Looking to get other cases.
I'm using the free gel case that came in the box. I'm looking for something more long-term, but it isn't bad as a freebie from the manufacturer.
I remove the case as it increases the size of the phone in my pocket.
I've been using the free case and I like it a lot better than the clear silicone you usually find. It's really easy to clean and offers good protection.
Just got the phone yesterday. And i was suprised that mine didnt come with it. As every video stated it comes with one.
Don't know why, but there was no free case in my box(yes it was new, unopened, tape/plastic sealed package) I bought in legit place, in my mobile operator store.
Oh well... bought case from ali, next 2 weeks will be pain in the .... Untill it arrives. fingers crossed that i dont drop it anywhere.
Just recently got the view 20, is anyone able to recommend me a decent case or screen protector? The usual brands I go for seem to not support this device. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks
