Just tried every kernel Hydra has to offer and every one put my phone into a bootloop. Had to revert back to stock.

I used the OC/UV ov, kernel #2 from Hydra. It was working ok but made my keyboard really laggy.

My keyboard is sometimes laggy but usually really fast. I've isolated the issue to the dictionary, I'm sure if auto suggest was off you wouldn't notice it.
Although, after using it for a day, the keyboard lag seems to have gone. Maybe it was repopulating or something.. no idea in this department.

I'm using skyraider 2.5 with hydra kernel 1.13 stock voltage and for some reason my button lights a finicky. Some times they work sometimes they don't. Anyone experience this before?

Yesterday I unistalled Swype beta to upgrade to the next version and something fancy happened.
My Screen timeout - set to 30sec - was endless! The option in the menu in still set to 30sec, but the screen just never turns off automatically, I've to to it from the power button!
I tried increasing the value to 1 min, but nothing happened. I really can't figure out what could have happened, since I've changed no option!
Anyone has any idea?
Uninstall swype to make sure it's the problem.

i'm running 1.8.26 and have the lastest swype. i dont seem to have that problem. try rebooting it?
The problem got solved since he uses the newest version of swype. He don't have to reboot or something else. Please read before you post next time.

I don't think the rom has anything to do with it. Its kernel related. Just flash any kernel that mentions BLN (back light notification) and you should be good to go. I think just about every kernel we have except one supports BLN. Right now I am using the Synergy kernel and its working great for me.

I am using kernel bullet v1.8b which does support bln but I can't figure out how to turn it on. It's not in any settings I can find so if I miss a text the phone just goes black.
You need bln control app in the market place.

Okay sometimes im using facebook or the browser and i switch to landscape mode and the language goes from english to some weird language. English comes back after I force close the app. I was wondering if anyone knows what's wrong with my phone.

I know some of Swipers builds have a bug with Chinese characters. I'm on 2.2.6, too and haven't seen it.
I wouldn't get too worried about it. There're always gonna be future releases with bug fixes
