[Q] Stock Portfolio - Desire General

Hi all!
I'm looking for an application which will let me track the prices of investment funds (not stocks). All the apps I have tried up to now can only look up actual stock prices and not funds.
Any suggestions anybody?
Thanks a million!
(There is a Yahoo finance app available which can link to a Yahoo portfolio, but it's not been released to the UK market!)

Barnes & Noble Application: I have seen very little anywhere about this

I am really excited about this application because I enjoyed it so much on my iPhone. However, even though I keep reading that it will be a part of the T-Mobile version of the HD2 I have not found any more information.
Is it a stand-alone application or is it a tab in HTC Sense like we are already seeing with the Borders link? Will I be able to purchase new books through it? What does it look like? Any screen shots or photos yet? Anything more than what T-Mobile has already said?
I am frustrated with the extra steps for getting books on my Nexus One and Touch Pro2 right now. I really want to see something from either Barnes & Noble or Amazon released for Windows Mobile or Android...just something for one of them at least...
They showed it at the T-mobile HD2 launch event this week. My account won't let me post links yet but you can see reviews and pics on CNET and PC Mag.
It's a standalone app, not part of Sense. On the initial version it'll just direct you to the B&N website to purchase books, but they're looking to add in app purchase in a follow-up version.

Application availability in marketplace - are paid apps available in eastern europe?

Hi,
I'm from Romania (eastern europe) and i've got a desire a few days ago.
I've been browsing the marketplace trying to find out various apps, that i went looking to buy a paid app.
Thing is that all the search results only give me the "free" apps and not even those are all available to what i think is available in the US.
Is this thing geography dependent? I am not able to buy Android apps??!
Well in short. On not rooted phone are are not able to buy apps from market.
If You have root there is Market enabler that will allow You to buy apps on market.
Ok, i'm quite new android
what is a good resource in order to start learning about desire rooting?
XDA is the best source, but sorry to undeceive you: Desire hasn't been rooted yet.
Or better, user Paul probably did it, but the procedure is yet to be shared

[App] A better App than Yelp App for finding great the BEST food near you

I have been developing the Spawt app for Android for a while now, what it does is that it recommends you the BEST places to eat near you. By curating content from various sources with Yelp being one of them, I am happy to say that the platform knows the best places to eat in the US (Best Of Yelp) and Singapore (HungryGoWhere).
What is it?:
* The simplest and most intuitive way to find the best food to eat, near you.
What it isn't:
* A food directory (like Foodspotting)
* A business review service (like Yelp)
* A check-in service (Like Foursquare)
What do I use it?:
Open the app when you are hungry and deciding where to eat.
App finds your location, and tells you the best places to eat near you, complete with pictures, directions, comments, etc.
What does it require?:
* Facebook account (For Facebook Connect) - Spawt is inherently social. One of the ways to improve recommendations is by crowd-sourcing your friends so you and your friends can mutually recommend great experiences to each other.
---
And we are just getting started. We are looking into adding events that's happening right around you next.
Let me know what you think

No Canada either

My bad I wanted it to be immediately useful to the users, and unfortunately, thus far we've only added content for both US (Yelp) and Singapore (HungryGoWhere).
I am happy to say that if you are american or singaporean, this will be immensely useful, but otherwise, you wouldn't discover anything unless you already have friends using it.
But I will be happy to add content for your country, if you have a site where I can get content from. For example, a Yelp for Canada or UK, that reviews/rates restaurants?

Keith Richards turns 69 today, and we’re celebrating by giving everyone a present: a free live version of "Beast of Burden" from the final show of the Rolling Stones' 1982 tour. In the accompanying video interview, Keith tells us he wishes he could write another one just as good: "What I aim for is to write great soul ballads." He might not sound as polished as an Otis Redding when he croaks out, "Am I hard enough/am I rich enough" along with Mick Jagger, but he's got just as much passion. It’s an amazing performance of an amazing song.

Need beta testers: Verso 1.5.1: Earn free crypto as cashback

Looking for users to download the app and check if everything is working fine.
The design, useability, is the app easy to understand
Thoughts on the brands available and redeem options. Any feedback in general is much appreciated.
You can download it here: https://www.get-verso.com/download
Can you share more information? How can I participate in beta testing of this app? I think it is great that it will get cashback in cryptocurrency. I have experience using cashback apps, so I think I would be very good at testing such apps. I have been using the get upside app for a long time. I was enjoying it because it was working with Uber. I was using Uber services every day for different purposes, so I got a big sum as cashback at the end of the month. I appreciated that I could withdraw my money directly on my debit card.
