Hey guys,
My desire resets as it heats up so its goingt o have to be sent back. I'm after a stock rom, the newest froyo one if its possible?
Either way the only one I could find was the 2.1 version on shipped-roms.com. i can't download from this site, I've tried a few times over a week now and it just fails a few k in.
Anyone know where I can grab this from?
Thanks
Here's the direct link on Shipped-ROMs to the 2.10.405.2 FroYo ROM
http://shipped-roms.com/download.ph...00.32U_5.09.05.30_2_release_142828_signed.exe
Or here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?kurwsdjqf7s3gbp
That was fast!
Thanks that shipped rom link works fine, id on't know if the old one should be reported or not? It certainly didn't work for me.
This is the link I was using:
http://shipped-roms.com/shipped/Bra...00.28U_4.06.00.02_2_release_126984_signed.exe
Thanks again
Edit: Spoke too soon! Still having trouble with shipped roms. I'll have to use the Mediafire one
That's the old site, it links to the new one though. Does go slow at times...

Hi,
I've got a stock Orange Touch Diamond running the latest Official Orange Rom, 1.97. I badly want 2.03 for the fixes and tweaks that have been made!!
I'm planning on using the Generic 2.03.401.3 that is available from the HTC site. Has anyone already flashed this on top of the branded Orange ROM, did you come across any problems?
The phone already has HardSPL, not sure what version though.
I'm doing a full backup of all contacts/data. Is there anything else that I should do just in case??
Thanks in advance
Rob
lol, has anyone got an experience of this?
Best way is to try it and see. If you have any problems flash back to the original again.
There are plenty of 2.03 ROM's out there with even more fixes and tweaks to make them stable.
In my opinion the 2.07 is the most stable out there at the moment.
Have a look around and see what suits you best.
Will give it a go tonight and post back my findings...
Plenty of guides etc within here that you can use..................However..
I have just done this myself and this is the process I followed;-
Install HardSPL, now it is 1.40.Olinex
Used a working serial to get the latest ROM update from HTC site
Ran the updater and that was it..
As it's been said, all the info you need is on the first page of the ROM forum so have a look and go from there

Thanks for the info Trixster!
I've had 3 HTC phones, M500, M3100 and now the TD and I've changed the roms on all of them. I did get problems with the M500 as I used an Orange Swiss Rom. I've just never used a none operator supplied rom before so was just a bit apprehensive and wanted to know if anyone else had done it.
Will post the results here...
Upgrade was totally painless. Don't know what i was worried about.
GPS works a little bit faster, but not much in it.
The new 'g sensor' calibration is useful though.
Has anyone got a link to the latest stock ROM. Would be much appreciated. I've been searching for almost an hour straight.
Thanks in advance...
@nuke1, if you're talking about a stock 2.07 ROM, then I'm in the same boat. Anybody got a link?

The ROM in that thread is branded for the Telstra network in Australia.
Hello, I have problem with downloading the official ROM from the site of HTC. I write "The serial number you've provided appears to be invalid. Please try again". Try with my other phone HTC Touch Pro with its IMEI and still going ...
Otkade elsewhere mogada download the official ROM?
Thanks!
It should be either on here : http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Rhodium/Shipped_Roms
Or a quick search should find a mirror.
As you've not left the ROM number you're after I can't help any more
Dave
Hi I also have a problem I wish you could help me with, I saw that on the HTC-europe site they have a ROM Upgrade for the TP2 to 2.07.4 - witch has HTC sense.
I have a ATT tilt2 and since it has a att rom the site wont let me get the upgrade. any help on how to get the rom?
I thought you could only download roms from the HTC site if you had an unbranded HTC phone. Although now that I think about it back when I had the Vogue I downloaded updated roms from that phone from the HTC site.
If the site wont let you download just go to the rom sub forum and look for the rom you want in there.
You could find updated stock roms on htcpedia...
why don't you put the whole name of file with the rom in goolge? i always found an mirror
I rooted my Desire with unrevoked and use Pays-Rom-Desire, but i forgot backing up the original rom before installing.
Now i want to restore my phone to original ROM, i bought my device in Thailand with Froyo default, on Nov 2010.
I tried to use RUU RUU_Bravo_Froyo_HTC_WWE_2.29.405.5_Radio_32.49.00.32U_5.11.05.27_release_159811_signed.exe downloaded from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=869048 but it said that customer ID incorrect.
Any people have the original ROm for this?
Many thank.
Without knowing the build number of the original ROM on your handset it's a guessing game, that one you tried is the generic WWE version not the Asian one
Yes, i know that. Thank you.
Do you know anywhere to get the original ROM for my phone. I found the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=695667 but the ASIA version is too old for my phone.
What version are you looking at? Best go here and see if there's a newer one:
http://shipped-roms.com/index.php?category=android&model=Bravo
EDIT: This might do the job:
RUU_Bravo_Froyo_hTC_Asia_WWE_2.13.707.1_Radio_32.44.00.32U_5.09.05.30_2_release_143921_signed.exe
Or here if that link fails:
RUU_Bravo_Froyo_hTC_Asia_WWE_2.13.707.1_Radio_32.44.00.32U_5.09.05.30_2_release_143921_signed.exe
Oh, thank you so much Eddy.
It might be my version. I visited the site but follow the Desire model so cannot find out this.
Let me try it now.
Thank you, thank you.
Wow, i completed backing up my phone. Now i'm trying to root the original ROM and customize it myself.
Thank you so much, Eddy.
Cheer
I just saw in another forum a user complaining he could not download a ROM from http://and-developers.com/sbf:defy so I tried myself.
All links that point to motorola's own download server are dead.
Be aware if you were relying on those links for anything.
Does anyone have the JRDNEM_U3_2.34.1 file?
Glen
I've uploaded it here
And here
Thanks for that. I've got 2.21 and will upload it later.
Maybe we could get a sticky with the links?
Sent from my MB525 using XDA App
Does anyone have a stock Telstra Australia rom?
There is a comment there that says "Doesn't contain motoblur" Can someone confirm that this is a stock clean froyo rom cz thats what I've always wanted a rom without motoblur!!
What needs to be done is to put a new thread of stock sbfs into the first link of development section and maybe request sorensiim to host all the sbfs we can gather.
We should be good to go then.
Someone has the UK firmware 2.51.1?
does some one has 2.51.0 India firmware? without motoblur ?
I've just bought a second hand HTC Desire for my daughter and would like to upgrade it from Froyo to the official stock Gingerbread, but I can't find an active link to the RUU anywhere, and it's no longer available on the HTCDev site. I used to have a copy but seem to have deleted it!
Does anyone have a link to a download mirror?
