Hi I really like the MIUI rom and I was wondering if someone could possibly port over the mms apk for the new skyraider rom and or the folders from it?

Hello Everyone, I just wanted to ask Calkulin and/or anyone who knows. I am trying to port the desire HD animations to myns rom so I can include it in a theme i have made but I cannot figure out how to do it. I replaced the anim folder in framework.res but it did not work. The port seems to involve other files or folders than the anim folder however the port does seem to be located within framework.

Hey guys, I'm trying to alter a ROM by taking all the files necessary from another ROM and successfully replace and run them.
I'm trying to take the phone apk, contacts, music player, and messenger from a doubleshot rom I have and put it on another sense 3.0 rom.
I just dont know what framework or lib files associated with each ROM.
Little help?
P.S. These aren't my roms and I found them both on Virtuous.

I was wondering if someone managed to port the Mms.apk from Cyanogenmod 10 to a stock ROM on Note 2. 'cause the Samsung sms app is just awful while the cyanogenmod one is great for me.
If it has never been done, can a dev do it please ? It must not be really difficult but so useful !
