Why don't you tell us more of your issue so we can see if we can help. if your enquiry does not concern a HTC desire HD then I'm at a loss as to why this had been posted here.
I use twonky media server.
I have an evo and I stream movies using twonky. Hope this helps. Ps it is in the market and free.

[Q] EVO 4G: streaming movies online problems

hello everyone. i was wondering if you guys can help. so i been trying to watch movies online the way i usually do in my computer, but unfortunately im unable to play them with my HTC EVO 4G. I downlaoded a 3rd party browser (DOLPHIN HD) and set it on desktop mode and still unable to play movies directly form my phone without having to download them. i dont get it. i have the lates flash player 10.3. also my phone is running on froyo 2.2; in addition, i have my phone flashed to boostmobile. i think i read some where that if i update my phone to gingerbread 2.3 it would work. im not sure though. can some one help me with this problem. thank you

[Game] Asphalt 7:Heat

I downloaded that game from google play (25$ google play credit)
Now when i want to open the game is need internet.
but i dont have in all place internet.
anyone know how to fix that?(play on offline mode)
thanks for help!
There is no current fix for this, as this is a check employed by Gameloft for many of their games to curb piracy. Basically you need a network connection to start many of their games.
Why not just teather the internet from your phone?
is what i do when i dont have internet but in my trip i dont have pelephone with internet lot of money.
I hate when i get on a plane, start up a game and find out it doesn't work offline. Gameloft... smh.
Thanks for letting us know about this. I'll add this to the list of games I will avoid. I ran into the same problem with Zenonia while trying to play in a location without any wireless services.

NFL Mobile app/hdmi

I have a Galaxy Nexus on Verizon running stock Jellybean. I am a huge football fan and love the live streaming on the nfl mobile app. I would love it even more if i was able to stream it to the TV using the hdmi but everytime i connect it, the app recognizes that it is streaming and stops it saying "hdmi detected". Is anyone aware of a work around? I searched everywhere but couldnt find anything other than some apps for the droid x. Any suggestions? Thanks for the consideration.
any ideas?
There has to be a way. I have seen other threads with this topic but they all went unanswered....anyone wanna be the hero and find the answer?
i dont think we're gonna see a fix for this anytime soon can someone tell us if it's even possible?
I was hoping the exact same thing. Seems like you should be able to watch it on MHL adapter / HDMI if you're paying for it. Grrrr....

[Q] android and your PC

so i have been addicted to a few games on the android phones. nothing wrong with that you know. but i was thinking it be cool if you could play any of your games that are on your phone...on your pc. does anyone know how to do that. I have tried using bluestacks but that only plays a selct amount of stuff...i want to play them all...LOL. any help would be greatly appreciated.
Sounds like you want to set up a VPN with your PC and phone.
Try Google for Team viewer & win2vnc
Win2vnc goes on your home PC as the "server".
Teamviewer goes on your phone from the Google play store as an app and connects to win2vnc.
You will be able to use your computer from your phone where ever your at.
sent to you from my PoS
