Btw which google apps are u using with the working gtalk video?

See the issue I am having, when I start a video with the pc, the screen gets this weird yellow orange fuzzyness and you can only see my video going but it doesn't show up on the pc. It's weird cause it's working on my d1.

Which version of CWM should I be running?? I am running 3.0.0.7 now, but I want to make sure I use the right one, so I have no issues.

It doesn't matter you can do it with either 3.0.0.7 or 2.5.1.2 but since its gingerbread i recommend 3.0.0.7

Sweet it works great. Two more question for you, which kernel should I use for the best battery life? And what should I use to overclock? I do own droid overlock, or should I just use setcpu ?

I Know its awesome lol just use droid overclock and use either chads incredikernel 4/19 or invisibleks kernel.

Thanks man. One thing I notice is, there is a lot of things running like maps, messaging and google services. Does that help kill the battery faster ? Is there anyway to keep those from running all the time, or is it ok?

thats ok if you want you can end the maps process but messaging and google keep them there.

They took away trackball wake anyway to get this back? Or at least a function like it?

[ROM] eViL's myTGB v1.0 - A Pure Gingerbread Espresso [5/21/11]

This ROM is based off of the Glacier_Gingerbread_S_TMOUS_2.08.531.0_R_Radio_12.52.60.25_26.08.04.30_M3_test_187553 leak. This is from my own personal collection. My goal with this ROM was to have something that just plain worked, and worked well. There are only a few tweaks, but for the most part pretty stock. I will most likely only update this ROM if there is something broken or after the official ROM is released. So, for all intents and purpose, this is a one-n-done. I hope you enjoy it.

From what it sounds, this will be really similar to your Orange GB (since both ROMs are meant to be Stock Gingerbread for our phones) but come with Talk w/ video and Netflix works? Just curious as to the differences, thanks!

Best Sense Rom?

Ok so i have downloaded 2 different recent sense roms (3.0) and both i am having problems with currently i have the going green r.3 with chop suey kernel and my pictures look very low quality and when i record a video it skips and freezes and the sound cuts in and out.
Does anyone know of a sense rom that is awesome and that everything works? or is there possible a fix for these problems?
any help would be appreciated

I have the Synergy rls1 so far no issues

I flashed this rom and now i cant use titanium back up as if im not rooted. whats the deal with this?

I have been using Synergy RLS1 since it came out. Love it, no issues. I use the STOCK kernel, no battery drain issues, no force closes on anything I have not had to reflash it since the first install.
I also have tried all the above, and they are all great. Synergy just has a few trinkets and features that are just downright cool.

The newer versions of SuperUser, you have to go to the app, hit menu and turn permissions on, then reboot.

The same here I have Synergy RLS1 and not a single issue ,and great battery stock kernel.. only down side is kind of slow.

Synergy rls1 FTW !! I havent had any issues with it either, great battery on stock kernal, and It runs pretty fast for me....

Another vote here for the EVO Classic. Best ROM I've used in a long time.

Also running the Runny Bliss hybrid B 8.5 qith chop suey 9.1 kernel an dgetting pretty decent battery life, no real issues so far aside from the previews for wallpapers not showing up, about to try the Supersonic3D/XL Beta

+1 on this one -very smooth and absolutely no problems, everything works!

It all depends in what you like. Try some more roms.
For everything that world ROM, illd recommend mikg 2.1+3.0 sense. The best from both htc sense versions.
Gl on your search, your suppose to have fun and enjoy try not to push your phone too much

SensatioN ROM Dialer

Firstly, my apologies if I've posted in the wrong place or if this has already been done.
I've been spending way to much time trying to customize my phone and have been reasonably happy with everything but the dialer.
On a whim I tried the phone and contacts app from Crysis21's very slickly themed international ROM and they worked perfectly.

You're welcome, but I only tested them to make sure they worked. I installed them directly to system/app the attached apks are directly from Crysis21's ROM I modded some png files on my phone, but he did such a slick job on this it wasn't a whole hell of a lot. Also I'm not sure about the CIQ status yet but the apps are from an international ROM.

I'm not sure, are you deodexed? I used root explorer, to paste them directly into system/app and everything worked, after rebooting. If you don't like root explorer estrongs file explorer is free in the market and should let you do the same thing.
I don't know if it matters, but I'm running a stock deodexed ROM with Rogue v1.1.1 Renegade kernel and recovery and Crawrj's all in one stock mod.

You're welcome, I'm actually running a pseudo Sense theme albeit with that dialer, and when I figure out where mod the tabs I'll repost it.

Sadly that's a no go for me using NaerokROM Deoxe'd version

I'm running a stock deodexed ROM, though prior to trying this out I was using the remapped dialer from Calkulin's ROM (still on stock deodexed) and it's working with both Rogue's v1.1.1 Renegade kernel and Chris's LoStKernel.

I didn't port anything, I only tweaked some transparencies for the particular wallpapers I use) it just happened to work for me pasted directly to system/app.
However, I did run into a similar issue with constant forced closes when I first tried using Calk's remapped dialer.
I was able to nandroid a backup and re-push the files and everything worked for me.
It may also be worth noting that my ROM was not of the No-CIQ variety before I tried this.

No, but I used his phone app on a stock ROM because he remapped it to center the call button.
I only mentioned that because his mods and those that Crysis21 made, seemed compatible with my set up.
My exact set up currently is - Chris41g's LoStKernel, AbsolutZeroGI's EG30-Stock-deodexV3-withCIQ, and Crawrj's EG30AIO-StockLockMod. It ran well with Rogue's v1.1.1 Renegade kernel as well, but the market was acting funny so I reflashed LoStkernel.

I forgot to take it out when I was swapping out PNG's

I can confirm that the Senstation Rom dialer works on calkulins Rom, however; when I tried to use a theme the dialer forced closed.

I like it, great apps but it does not look good on 200 dpi. Anyway I can fix it?

is anyone experiencing phantom phone calls? My phone will be ringing but really low and then after i reboot my phone i get a voicemail notification n i listen and apparently someone was really calling me but my phone didnt acknowledge it.

Since it is a sensation rom, do we get the face book contact sync and the pictures from the contact. I used to have an evo before and I miss the sense dialer capabilities where it can automatically link my contacts with Facebook friends.
Anyway from the screen shots it does seem excellent.

I have been searching for a better music player based on good UI and smooth performance. Then I found MIUIMusic 2.3.2.
All credits goes for DaXmax, he post two versions of the apk, the newer one 2.3.9 crashed in my rom, so I decided use 2.3.2
I did some change in appearance includes: icon replaced, enlarged the state bar icon and widget background changed.

Get rid of dsp manager, try the "NOOZBEATS" sound mod. Works perfectly with this player, sound is crisp n clear. I have no sound distortion, on the PAC man JB ROM.

Having problems with this app on your latest V9. I open it and a milisec later forecloses. I just get to see a black screen before this happens. Used to work on V8. What could be it?

Try the 2.3.2 edited signed one. This was happening to me too, it turns out 2.3.9 stopped working and only 2.3.2 edited signed one works.
