HTC Mondarian on the AT&T network
Perhaps a 1.3 ghz CPU?
Snapdragon QSD8650A processor
4.3" screen
I believe an aluminum casing?
If all that is true, then T-mobile can have their HD7. I'd be much happy with this.
More pictures!
Nothing breathtaking but maybe the best looking WP7 device by HTC so far.
Lets hope the rumors of a 1.3GHz Snapdragon processor and a 1400mAh battery is true.

It's funny how people build up unrealistic expectations and then get disappointed.
As Nietzsche once said, hope dies last, I would kill it first.
Thats unrealistic?
Looks like the Samsung Cetus has a 1500mAh battery.
But hey... lets hope it has the same specs as all the others, so we won't get disappointed.
Oh wait!... I have a better idea, lets don't care at all.
I wish I could quote some fancy philosopher here... or do I?
Samsung Cetus i8700 is prob the best looking so far and with really good specs. I just hope a 16GB flavour is offered for that model.

What's the point in hoping when you know already that it'll have the same specs. Don't know about the battery though.

hoping? there are multiple reports out claiming that it will be 1.3, no one is blindly speculating.some people see the cup half full, but I guess you see it as wheats the point of looking?
Whatever. Microsoft said all devices will use the same chip. You can fantasize about those "multiple reports" as much as you like. There have been multiple "leaks" reposting Photoshop renders made by xda members just for fun, with big blogs copypasting things without thinking. Most of these "reports" had the same source.
Of course many of the blogs out there are wrong and start chirping what the one before them said. But no one is blindly predicting or "hoping" something out of reach like a phone with a 3.0 ghz quad core with 1 gb graphics either. Regardless of what microsoft said it is very possible that there will be a phone with more than 1 ghz, possibly even a 1.3 ghz, within the next year.
Next year, sure. Just not at launch. If this Mondrian is launched this "holiday season" it's getting the same chip as others. Easy as that.

i remember when looking for a new phone that around jan this year the first details of the tp2 came out and from then on we got to see more videos etc of it from phone shows
can we expect the same in jan2010 for the TP3
for me if they make it slightly slimmer with the spec of HD2 then i think it would be perfect
no way should they tamper with the keyboard
heres hopeing jan 2010 brings us our first look at the tp3
how about touch pro 3 with a capacitive touchscreen that supports multi-touch?

I kind of doubt it. They still have a lot of money to make on the TP2. I guess the timing wouldn't be that different compared to where the TP1 was in its lifecycle, but that device seemed spent much sooner to me--it also sticks out a little in the product line as the TP2 probably is more of a tytn III than a TP2. I think we'll see the first leaks on a TP2 + snapdragon in late spring or summer. There might even be an inclination to delay it for a rollout with winmo7.
On the other hand, an HD2 Pro could be justifiable before then. I suspect the distinction doesn't make a difference to you, but a device with a 3.6" screen really is in a different category than a device with 4.3" screen. I'm not totally sure what that category would be exactly. Business for people looking for an OQO replacement? Multimedia for people looking for a better video player/gaming experience? Big-handed people?
HERE at the bottom of the page. But a keyboard and a tilt mech on the HD2 and I am in. Dont get to excited though when you look at the specks you'll know why
I can´t see this as an upgrade for our TP2
Ok, yes it has a slightly faster processor but with smaller screen! WQVGA...no way!
I don´t think we will see a real upgrade for Rhodium till 2011
So let´s enjoy Rhodium!!!

I think HTC was targeting the n97 mini with this one. Although I think the n97 mini has the same resolution as the n97.

c'mon guys, we're right there
I realise the whole thing is kinda pointless... but what are the bets that Android/iPhone/every-other-OS users are voting WebOS?
but yeah would be pretty funky to see WP7 crowned King. My votes been counted anyway

Pretty high, they're jelly that their run-down boring OSes with only good apps to back them up didn't get anywhere.

Many people would argue that a mobile OS is only as good as the apps available to it. Accordingly, this "OS bowl" is rediculously flawed. The only way that WP7 winning would make any sense is if the primary criteria for voting was "most untapped potential"

Haha , the votes are only from the people who bought the phones. Sad.

That would totally explain the fact that android and iphone booth with definitively higher market shares got raped. I mean it wasnt even a close game for either. It's all about OS... WP7 is in my opinion the best OS apps aside, in a business user though I could see palm being the best. Android and iphone have all the app backing in the world but this isn't a "Who has the best developer support bowl." It's an OS bowl and the top two teams are there accordingly.
Not nearly as sad as your stalking and trolling - do you even have a WP7?
I think his initial excuse was "I'm considering getting one." Followed by a 3 page list going on about the few features that have yet to been included.
It'll probably be at least 5 years til we know the top three

There is always top three.
To all you guys on AT&T, just letting you know there is an HTC Android phone available that is nearly identical to the Tilt 2. It is called the HTC Desire Z. It has pretty much the same keyboard as the Tilt 2. The processor is much better too at 800 MHz. Now I know what you're thinking, "Oh but it isn't even a 1GHz processor?" Well, the thing is, this processor is actually underclocked, and runs flawlessly at 1.2 GHz and beyond. The reason for that is because it is a newer type of Snapdragon and is faster than other 1 GHz Snapdragons (like the HD2 for example) running at only 800 MHz. Check this phone out, it's worth it if you want Android native and that HTC keyboard.
Just a quick note, there are a few different versions of the phone, but you need one specific version to work on AT&T 3G. It must be the A7275 version. In other words, it must be from Bell Canada and unlocked. It can be found on ebay as low as $450 without contract. It's been out for a few months, but now down to a fairly reasonable price. Not trying to move you who love your Tilt2 away from it, just some info in case you want a similar device with native Android. Quick shoutout to the XDAndroid developers though, I've used it a lot on my Tilt 2 and it has come so far in these past few months. Great job by all of them.

Nope, but it does have a quirky little mechanism that makes the keyboard come out in a very cool way. It's called the Z-hinge, look it up on youtube, very interesting how the keyboard 'slides' out (although it doesn't really slide).
It has pretty much the same keyboard as the Tilt2 and a teeny bit bigger screen, but much less thickness. The processor is better and is actually underclocked. It runs perfectly at stock speed but is crazy fast when overclocked (overclocking is very stable on this phone). All games work perfectly on it without a hitch graphically. If you liked the possibilites of winmo, you will love the abilities to customize on native android with all the custom ROMs and such.
Nokia World 2011
Live blog from Engadget here
We have pretty much seen the leaked shots of the hardware, what else is everyone waiting to hear about?
I'm really excited to see what type of changes/additions/apps Nokia will bring to the WP7.5 experience.
I also pray the Ace is a real device.
I also want extensive hands on videos and impressions of all the hardware.
Release dates/Prices/Carrier info
We haven't seen the Nokia Ace, waiting to see what that's like before I (Hopefully) buy a 64gb Nokia 800.
I hope we get some really good videos of the hardware too, and if the Ace isn't real I'm going to sulk They look beautiful phones. Hopefully they are going to make me go shopping. More than individual handsets though I'm really looking forward to seeing what they do in terms of marketing the platform; a mobile giant such as Nokia could make all the difference in getting the world to take notice of WP7.

Where are the 32GB devices ????
So if the rumors were true about the nexus 5 being "beast" as they claim, the question is will TMO S3 users get the latest N5 ASAP to
replace your current S3 TMO. Cuz for me watching benchmarks on S4,ONE X, etc they are having 20k+ scores on antutu and others benchmarking
apps and seems our smartphone/s looks pretty old right now.

I didn't purchase my S3 for benchies, I purchased it because it's a joy to use and works very well. Just because a new phone is out doesn't mean I'll immediately jump to it. I'll take my time and wait.
Especially with all the different reported phones in the pipeline.
Whudda we got here??

No way. At least not at first. I just got the s3 a little while ago but even if I didn't I still believe the s3 is no doubt in top list and works amazingly well. Plus many new features will continue to be added through updates. But if you want a phone just for best processor then go ahead. But honestly right now I don't believe any app on a phone will actually use a processor with more than 2 cores, feels very unnecessary. Maybe just the android system and MAYBE some hardcore badass games use all cores?
Sent from my PC36100 using xda premium
not to mention it will most likely be just like the S3 in regards to, it was announced as a quad core, but by the time the US got it, our retarded butts dumbed it down to a dual core. International version of the S3 is still quad core. So while the S4 boasts 8 cores, we might see the quad core finally for us here in the states!... lol
I do not understand why people care so much about benchmark score to the point they will switch phone and buy it out of their pocket

The reason they switched to a dual-core for the US version is because the international was getting terrible battery life. The S3 battery isn't really big enough to stay charged long on 4 cores. It had nothing to do with "dumbing it down"
