Hey everyone,
i m looking for someone to develop an application that is some what of a video player. I want the app to list all the movies on the website then allows you to play them with a full screen video player. You kno like when u click a video from youtube and it opens a nice fulo screen? Also l, how it lists all the contents of the site...
I would post all types of movies from 2010 to whatever.
As far as payment.. i will sharw half of the profits with the develiper. I will pay the cost for the server, etc.
I would like a multi-platform app, but i will settle for android for now.
You can call me at 347 SNAKE16 or simply reply to this post.....
Thx
Suggestions and commments are also welcomed...

I hope you arent planning on trying to make an app / server to sell or rent movies you download or even buy (unless it is a renters copy and have permission to stream or distribute digitally which would be a huge cost if you even could) etc. you will find yourself in big trouble really fast doing so.
unzip and install on ur phone(2 files)...works great with our phone...after install u have to syncronize with Yahoo! in settings with ur account..enjoy!
So this will allow you to video chat with Yahoo from ur Galaxy to someone's PC!
edit: from myTouch 4G ROM
it uses the back camera and there's no option to select the front camera
Is this the Yahoo Video Chat?!.. Can it do just that?.. i don't want to sync up yahoo information to my phone like Google.

Installed. Sadly I've no one online to even test !.. Everyone is on GTalk/Facebook these days
Hopefully Google will oneday wake up and give us Video Call over GTalk on Android. #Hoping!
Tested, can't switch to front camera but it works.
Had Google video o N900, was way better than yahoo!
so we have yahoo video and voice; but not google? on a google phone
OK. Because of ICS I am having a hard time finding something to suit my needs.
I work a lot with professional musicians and like to record and upload video information. I am also into political activism, and what I would like is a video app that records and streams/uploads to a cloud as you record or shortly after.
I used to use QIK, but it isn't available. After sideloading it, it has now become a limited service. (On my EVO it was unlimited, now it's like 50 videos or something)
Any way to upload videos this way, avoiding Facebook, Twitter, and all the other ways that publish directly to social media sites?
I liked this option because I could record like 5-6 takes and only "share" the one I like on Facebook or Twitter. Thank you in advance.
Have you already tried Justin.tv Broadcaster? I don't know if it works with ICS and if the video quality is good.
You can use the Nexus camera app and upload later to the cloud via ftp.
No, thank you though. I'm hoping for something that uploads to a cloud I don't own. I have an FTP, but I'm hoping for something easier.

That looks very smooth, I want to use it along with PS3 controller to play ShodowGun.
From the video, it looks like the Media Link can only handle mirroring but not streaming. Consider this cost almost the same as the Apple TV which does have both mirroring and streaming capability, I don't think I'll buy it at the current retail price.
P.S. Mirroring means both screen shows the same content. Streaming means you can play video from your device to the TV while do something else on your phone like web browsing.

Cool, I'll check it out YouTube, do you know if it can work with other Android devices like the Galaxy Tab?

I don't think so, unless a developer from XDA implements it because it uses HTCs Sense 4.0 software
im hoping that someone comes out with emulators that stream to tv , so the phone just shows controls

@Bigmille
Yeah you can use streaming. You can also launch a film on the One and send it to the TV and continue to use your phone to call someone, send sms, go to network... EVERYTHING
I will add a new video tomorrow or after tomorrow about Media Link with video player
Some HTC Staff person have played to ShadowGun and they said me it's amazing! It's looks like a PS3!!!
+
I have asked to know if I can use it with my DHD and they are not sure because of compatibility with Sense ;(
Was thinking about getting one of these but this video confirms what i thought the experience would be like, i think for the most part it's going to be useless, the guy in the video spent 90% of it looking at the screen on the phone to see where he is poking the touch screen
streaming works, i seen it work at a demo. Here
@shan The guy, it's me
It's true for games it's not a miracle but when you are lot of people to see a movie or other things (documents, pictures...) it could be so greatful
PS: I have added a new video :

thst's why you need a controller via bluetooth
Hey, ive got one question. This HTC Media thing, ist it connected via Ad Hoc Wifi or is it (or MUST it) be built in into your home wifi?
Why this question?
Because my Wifi Signal is very weak at home and therefore the Signals are weak as well. But with an Ad Hoc Connection only between the HTC Phone and the HTC Media thing (that connects to the TV..) you can get a good connection. BUT when your connect to the ad hoc WiFi (to your HTC Media Thing) are you able to surf via Wlan? Or do you have to use 3G?

Thank you for posting that video
Just to inform everyone so you don't make the same mistake that I did. The HTC Media LINK and the HTC Media Link HD are very different. The mirroring will NOT work on the HTC Media Link....is works ONLY on the HTC Media Link HD.
It's very ambiguous in all posting and documentation but again I am speaking from experience. The standard HTC Media Link will not mirror the One X. it can only act as a DNLA device.

Does someone know how lagg would be when playing HQ games like gta3 oder shadowgun? i really would like to take my HOX as a gamingstation with ps3-controller connected.
Hi everyone! I just came from a iPhone and on the Facebook app there was a setting to upload HD. I uploaded a video on my note 4 and it's really ugly and standard on Facebook and I know it's not the phone . On my iPhone 5s I was able to play my videos and hit the HD icon to improve the video. Am I missing something to enable this?
I hope someone knows the answer. I Googled and couldn't find anything lol
I guess no one knows lol
