Tried upgrading my rom via the software on the o2 website and it's killed my XDA2i. Can anyone help please?
I did the same thing, and the same thing has happened to my XDA2i...
I know there's a way to fix it - it has to do with putting an imade on the SD card, and essentially 'booting' from the SD card...
I'm looking around the forums to find what to do !!
Did some searching through the site and found quite a few of these post my pda's dead after trying to update the ROM, exactly the reason why I haven't bothered trying to do it.
My phone/PDA cannot be out of action.
Good look with getting it sorted, and I hope someone on the site who seems to know what they are doing help you both.

Im using O2 mini and my device also dead after bigstorage. But nothing is on screen when try to bootloader. Then does anyone know what's wrong with mine? and how to fix? thanx

Rom update issue
guys u generally face this problem if you try to flash the device with a incorrect rom.
example if u flash a o2 xda ii mini with a o2 xda II rom.
I would need to know what did u guys do to reach at such a stage so that i can give u the ideal troubleshooting step
using rooted USCC Desire, stock rom Froyo..have removed most of the bloatware but couldnt able to find out the names of these applications...can anybody help me out please ??

These are part of Google maps, annoyingly you can't remove them without removing maps completely!

Because that file names for HTC's navigation, not for GMaps.

Its not solved but we can get other softwares as mentioned above
It also had gallery problem any one noticed yet I am facing it...

I had the same problem and living with it yet even after upgrading to Defy+ ROM. You can transfer files only with .zip extensions and nothing else. Give it a try it should work.
