Desktop docking station

does anyone know if there is a docking station coming for this phone anytime soon ?

Any certain time line for when these might release? I wish they would have these when the phone launches, it sucks needing something and having to wait so long after having the phone already. I guess they need to see how successful it is bad damn, bring it already.
need one for work and home ready to give up some money.

Any word....starting to get impatient.

Tmo salesman at my local store said he was surprised there were so many accessories available day 1, and that it would probably be a few months before the rest dropped, if past performance was anything to go by.

I have never understood why they wait to put out accessories for new devices. I hope they get at least the desk docks in time for christmas.

You have to be careful with these questions at retail locations. There's a universal 'car dock' they sell for the mytouch line. Not all t-mobile employees and reps know the difference between an actual dock and a 'phone holder'.
Did they specify that it was a mytouch 4g car dock with the docking pins? If that's the case, I'm very excited!

If it were, we'd have heard about it somewhere.

Well the Vibrant docks are just getting into stores yesterday so one can only assume it'll be another short while until we get ours.

Docking station finally here
The docking station for the Mytouch 4g is finally at T-Mobile. $49.99 You can find it under accessories at T-Mobile under chargers for the 4G.

yup they had the docks for awhile now at TMO stores, well where I live they do.. but fyi - the dpck is just a dock with no power cable/usb cord and it uses the usb plung instead of the docking pins... If your like me, I bought the dock and modded it so I no longer have the usb plug but use the three pins on the side of the phone and it automaticlly goes in to desk mode, plus its easier to just put it in the dock instead of fighting with the usb plug...

I got this one and like it. I have an extra battery and use the charger as well.
Hoping for something with pins as well as something that automatically puts the phone in dock mode.

I'm kind disappointed I just got a MTG4 off ebay in great condition and can't find a good dock for it. I've been searching the net and haven't had much luck. I found a post on here for one but the link is broken now.
Does anyone have any updated information on a Desk Dock that actually uses the side pins?

Unfortunately I haven't found any that utilize the 3 pins on the side. I don't think they are going to make one. Although there is thread on how to mod one yourself.

Last night I went to YellowDeals' merchant page. They have tons of OEM products and free shipping for all of em.
Also I got a different price on my pc. Is Amazon still doing the different prices for different people crap they in trouble for a couple yrs ago? On pc, it was 3.18. Not much difference, but still.

I got mine from Seller1ON1. Charger+cable+car charger, all for 9.44 with free shipping. All are samsung branded, chargers look 'slightly used' with scratches. But they are pretty legit Samsung ones.

WTF: Wireless charging battery door - WHERE??

What the hell is the story on this door? It still isn't on the website, and the CORPORATE store looked at me like I had two heads when I asked about it. Is this some sort of soft launch or what???
Can someone please detail EXACTLY where they bought theirs??

I saw it at the corporate store in my town. They didn't have it on the sales floor, but the clerk was happy to run to the back and get it. He even let me try it on my phone to see how much bulk it would add.

We have them at my corporate store in the Phoenix, AZ area. I can get a part number once I am back from vacation for you if you'd like.

I see it on the online store now.

I got mine at a regular Verizon wireless store in Elizabeth City NC believe it or not.

I couldn't find any in the stores near me. Ordered online this weekend.

looked in 2 different stores today with no luck........I did however find the otterbox cases

Got mine at the Gilbert AZ store. Doesn't work right with CM7 unless the phone is powered off. Otherwise its awesome. I recommend the energizer QI charging pad.

Can you elaborate on exactly how it doesn't work right with CM7?

When I set my phone on the charger it doesn't charge in CM7 unless the phone is off. Wish they made a back for the extended battery and qi charging...

Well crap, I was wanting to get this. Guess I won't now with CM on my phone.

Confirmed not working on CM7. In fact; the only ROMs it seemed to work on were Froyo based.

Which Gilbert store? Market and Williamsfield?

Knowing that it wouldn't work with CM7, I bought it anyway... I'm sure it's just a matter of time, right? Plus, I got it for 21 bucks! Priced at 29.99, instead of the proper 39.99 - they sold it to me for the listed price, plus I get a state employees discount.

It is most likely a kernal issue, most problems with charging on roms are due to the kernal. I know some of the non cm7 kernals say they support wireless charging so might just be something cm7 team has not gotten to since they use different kernals than most GB roms.

Well considering that the kernel source for the TB is available and all, the CM team should be able to figure something out. I'm thinking that this will come after this has been merged with the main CM tree and has reached a full "finished" version.

Thanks for the info, guys. I was finally able to get one from their website and it works great with the Energizer qi base.

I'm sorry, I dont subscribe to the "I dont know or recognize that brand name so it must be generic" train of thought. If that were the case I'd have never rcvd the sweet white carbon fiber battery cover I just got since it doesnt even have a name brand. Moral of the story, dont knock it till you try it

I'd have to agree with that. But most of if not all of those same accessories ship from Hong Kong too...everything ordered from the site I posted might cost a few bucks more, but they're shipped from the USA and arrive much faster. To some, that's worth the few extra bucks spent.

I am always willing to pay a little extra to get it from the states. I order stuff because I want it now, not in 3 weeks. I have my eBay app set up to show only US sellers for that reason alone. I know it's all the same stuff. I contacted Amazon about putting that feature into their app twice, with no response

All those recognized name brands had to start off as unknowns at one point aswell. People these days cant seam to grasp that concept tho. Lots of times thats where NEW ideas come from. The NEW guys.

Has anyone seen a desktop dock? While at work I have always had a dock for what ever phone I own next to my screen. For most phones I used my Galaxy S3 dock as its generic, my Lumia 920 had the wireless charging stand but HTC has put the USB of set from centre. Anyone?

Guys what do you think of the double dip flip case? Does the phone get locked in the case? Cause I don't see any clips on the case to hold the phone and prevent it from detaching/falling off

Yep but they told me it would take more time for security checks,I don't know if they refund me in case they send the product too late and that my parents left the Hotel...

They loosed a customer,they sent me an email that they need ID scan and state's bills for sending me a simple car holder
It will never work because I live in Beirut and my parents are in Paris for holidays + the bills here are in arabic.
I didn't know they have to act like the Stasi when they sell for international customers.

They always do this on their new customers. It's because you're purchasing online so they wanna make sure that the transaction isn't a fraud or something.
