Hi, I want to know if there is a way to sync all my calender entries instead of just one month ago. As this option does not sync all calender entries.
In the previous htc sync program there was a option to sync all calenders and the option to select which calenders you wanted to sync. But on this new version there is no options or advanced options.
Is there a way round this or any one know of any good third party sync programs? Thanks in advance
Does any one know? Plz help

The HTC calendar has added reminders for all my calender events, but I don't want them. I've removed all reminders from my google calendar and synced but they are still there, and in the calender settings on the desire the default reminder time cannot be set to "none".
The only way I can see to remove all reminders is one by one editing each event. Is there a quicker way to do this?

You could try in calendar, clicking menu, then more, then calendars, and selecting which calendars you want displayed. But I dont know if it only works with the htc calendar.
I got my DHD 3 weeks ago and since then I have flashed more than 20 Roms.
In the end I decided to settle for CM7. However, this MOD lacks HTC Sense. Out of all the features Sense offers the only one I miss is Facebook for HTC sense. The reason for that is the very nice quality of pictures it links to your contacts. The Facebook for Android app didn't do it for me.
So my question is: Is there any replacement for FB for HTC sense which can be installed on CM7?
it's not the facebook for sense that sync with the phonebook, it's the htc sense itself ..
you dont need to login facebook for sense to sync (if you have htc sense based rom), if you have facebook for android , then htc sense will do the sync.
unfortunately, htc sense cant be integrate together with AOSP rom. but you still can merge contact. Once you merge your google account + facebook contact , you can have the facebook picture there.
here is the way to merge ..
open contact -> choose your phonebook friend -> menu -> edit contact -> menu -> join -> choose the facebook profile -> done

Thanks for the reply, but I think you might be wrong about one thing.
In sense ROMs when you go to the Accounts and Sync settings you have the choice between two facebook accounts: 1) Facebook (which is the Facebook for Android App) and 2) FB for HTC sense.
These two are not the same, but you can sign in with the same account for both of them. And when you try to link your contacts in the way you mentioned above, you get to choose between both accounts.
I have tested both apps, and there is a huge difference in the resolution of the pictures each app assigns to your contacts. The pictures Facebook for Android assigns to your contacts is very pixelated and look very stretched; while the other app downloads a nice quality of pics.
In other words, I know that you can use the Facebook for Android on AOSP ROMs, but this is not what I'm inquiring about. I would like to know if there is another app that can be used as a replacement for Facebook for HTC sense.
I've come across an App called SyncMyPix, have anyone tested it? Do you recommend it?
http://www.contapps.com does what you want. When I'm on CM7, I use contapps.
The native calendar and one I downloaded called Calendar seem to be in sync with each other regardless of how I set them. I set the native one to my sync with gmail calendar and the new one has a folder/calendar I created. No matter which account I select, the other calendar changes to it. I can't use them as two different calendars. Hope that was clear enough! Any thoughts?

I can't help you directly but have you tried Agenda Widget Plus? It lets you choose which calendars to use (e.g. exchange or google calendars). It's not really a calendar app but has nice widget options
Android basically collapses all calendars into a single view. Depending on the app or widget, you can select which calendars to view, as well as to which calendar a new entry should be saved. The data is kept within each calendar, so if you delete one the other calendars will stay. If you use Outlook, its very much like the overlay view.
Hope that helps clear the confusion.

Hello all,
I've removed some htc apps that I don't use and wondering how I can remove one entry I have in the Accounts & Sync menu?
The app I removed is the HTC browser and I'd like to remove it from the menu.

I use my phone a lot for work, and just wondering what the best 4x4 widget/app is for organising my appointments/meetings etc?
I'd like something that will Sync with Outlook Calendar on my work emails as well as allowing me to input meetings/appointments in my phone. I would also like something that will allow me to have some sort of 'to-do list'.
Thanks a lot!!
I use an app called
gsyncit it is not free (but not expensive) but I manage to sync Calendar Contacts and Tasks NOT emails
Hello
I do it using gmail calendar
How i do it :
Install google calendar sync (freetool can be found in google) on your pc and configure ure gmail account
That will push your outlook calendar to gmail
That can be done in two ways
( outlook to gmail / gmail to outlook)
Without gmail i dont know if there is another way to make it work
Cheers
