Hello!
I tried to install AOSP phone.apk (coming from Oxygen 1.0.4) on Auraxtsense but it won't install
How to proceed?
Thanks a lot
P.S: HTC's phone app seems to be for women hands
You need AOSP framework, no-go.
Just push contacts.apk to /system/app/ there may be some lib files you need to push to /system/lib/ too before it will work, but im not sure

Hello,
I have installed the JVS 2.3.5 ROM on my Galaxy S I9000, with CF-ROOT 4.1 and I'd like to have the SGS 2 email app.
I've extracted the email apk from the F1 Galaxy S II V7 (email.apk and emailWidget.apk) and I copied it in system / app /
But it doesn't work. Do you have any solutions ?
Thanks to all
try this, worked for me.
Thanks.
But do I have to put the META-INF folder somewhere on my phone ?

No (ten chars)
I copied the email.apk and emailWidget.apk in System/app , but it doesn't work.
May it due to the odex email file ?

I'm running Lukiqq's Supersonic JVS which is deodexed.
Why don't you just run the zip file through CWM, instead of pulling the apk's out ?
Simple and it works.
It should work if you're on stock (samfirmware or similar) JVS. It shouldn't work on CM7 (or similar) because it needs the touchwiz framework.
Logcat should tell you why it isn't running.
It's now working on JVS 2.3.5 Stock ROM deodexed with TW 4.5.
Thanks for your help !

For framework-res.apk u can take it in v1.0 ROM zip,or just use adb pull...
For the third one,it's for touchwiz (samsung), maybe for HTC is use the framework-htc-res.apk in system/framework
Sent from my viperDHD
Thanks, I'll take another look at it tonight.

you'll need a mod for that i don't think that replacing the .apk will work
But you can try , copy a stock dialer.apk from a stock rom and copy it with a root explorer to
System\app
But before you do you copy the existing dialer.apk from that dir to a folder on the sdcard.
Push the stock one to the dir and reboot the phone. Check if the dialer works .... if not replace the venom dialer.apk back
I think it might work because the dialer is not modded, its just themed ..... I give it a fair chance and hope for the best
Edit : by pure ..... You mean a aosp dialer.apk ? Think I misunderstood the question there

Yeah, I think he meant aosp dialer
Yeah after reading it a couple of times it crossed my mind. If you want aosp style you check the sensecream theme from fisha21
