toggle widget for volume & media - Droid Incredible Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

is it just me, or shouldn't a volume toggle widget mute both the ring volume and the media volume? I use the curvefish widgets right now, and like them, but there isn't one for the media. Does anyone know of a widget out there that does this?

Try audiomanager widget.

(Request] more recent Apps, customizable power widgets

(Request)
2 things I would love to see and have really been missing in this phone so far
1. Ability to see more than 6 recent Apps when holding the home button, like 9 or 12
2. Customizable power widgets in the notification bar, I would love to be able to add brightness on there and toggle sound from vibe, to silent, to sound. Instead of just vibe to sound
Thanks
I agree. However, in regards to brightness you know you can adjust brightness "on the fly". Just turn off auto on your display/brightness. Then put your finger on the notification bar and side left or right to increase/ decrease. Much better than the button, IMHO.
.....
Yeah a customizable power widget on the notification bat would be sweet.
Sent From My Evo Killer!!!
Do any roms have customizable power widgets yet? This is the feature I want more than anything else.

Expandable audio control

Hi guys,
I really liked a feature on ICS that it is possible to regulate your ringer volume by pressing vol+ button once and then setting it by sliding finger on popup menu. How happy was I when I saw a feature on cm9 to make this menu expandable and manipulate trough all volumes (Ringer, notifications, media etc.). Now, due to stability im back on cm7 and heres my question. Is it possible to flash an addon which make me possible to have an ics style volume popup menu?
Sorry for my bad english. Szotaa

Control of non-stock music players

Hello,
I managed to set my volume buttons to change songs (via Xposed) and it's great but I can not set that widget in Control Center to skip songs in BlackPlayer. Anyone knows if it it's even possible?
It would be great too, to have music widget in my lockscreen. If anyone knows how to set it up, please answer
Cheers

Sound Profile Change from Notification Pull Down - ?

I do not see the ability to change my sound profile: sound , vibrate, silent -by pulling down on the notification bar shortcuts...
Is that a possibility in Nougat ? If so, how.
I have an old widget called "Silent Mode Widget" that I can place on my home screen, but have somewhat gotten accustomed to just pulling down from the top of the screen to make the change... Thanks in advance for any tips on this one.
Just found this. swipe down to open quick settings shade, pull down again to access more quick settings, and then you'll see "do not disturb", that has the sound silence settings in it. If you hit edit you can move it up to the top row if you want.
I see that, but that is not what I am referring to. - That is for a period of time for "Do Not Disturb" - It is not the volume toggle button where you have three options for "Sound, Vibrate, or Silent" which is what I'm looking for...
I was looking for the same thing and found a free app that adds the toggle - works great:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cgollner.quicktiles&rdid=com.cgollner.quicktiles
If you want some more toggle options, there are other apps as well.
Volume Slider LIKE 'Brightness' Slider would be perfect!
I wish there was an app/tweak that would allow one to install a volume slider like the brightness slider in quick settings that did not require all sorts of other development tools and a desk/laptop! That would be perfect. And again, like others are saying it should have come with the OS.
The real question is, how do we edit the more in depth sounds? Like with my s7 edge I could control the volume of system sounds, ringer, media, and notifications. How would we do that on pixel I can't find any setting that lets me do it.

Click to collapse
I use Volume Butler from the Playstore it works great! It also separates the ring volume and the notification volume. Very easy setup.

Question Permanent media player on lockscreen

I try to keep the media controls for podcast addict on the lockscreen even if i pause the player. The controls works just fine but after I paused the player the controls disappear from the lockscreen after around a minute. It is the same for other podcast or music apps. Is there a way to have permanent media control button on the lockscreen? I'm using One UI Version 5.0.
