Try reading this one. In order to read the img, you reversed the process used to create the img as per the link I just gave above.

On the post about Black 3.0.1, there are many download links and mirrors. How can I tell if I have 3.0.1 and not 3.0 without loading it onto my phone?

Gee, lemme download this file from a link that says what it is, skip verifying the file name after it d/l's, and make a pointless thread, cause UNLESS the person making the link and creating the file name is trying to trick you, it is what it says. Ummmm, maybe you shouldn't upgrade your phone buddy, just for not bricking it sakes... but seriously.. the first post has a direct legit link to 3.0.1 and besides that its listed what each mirror is for..not trying to flame or anything but this question hits the cake, and to start a thread on it is rediculous.

Follow the link above to see a perfect guide written by MrVanx. Its not that difficult, but you have to follow every single step carefully.
The green screen is the welcomehead.96.png, this one you can chance very easy. The other one is the splashscreen, you have to create a new one and flash it as explained in the guide

I am not new to technical forums. But I am new to this phone and I want to put a new rom on this phone. The current one is so slow.
What is the best rom available.
How do i put a new rom onto the phone.
Please keep it simple or point me to step by step specific instructions. Not a set of generalised instructions.
I looked at the how to thread. It was not step by step and got lost after three clicks.

Yes alot, after i been using a custom rom & getting it back from repair, i'd had to get a custom rom on the phone again, its to slow without if you asking me.
But that's just what I think.

how am i going to backup the information on a phone? its not as if it has a cdburner lol
i dont want to loose all my info/sms historys stuff/etc. once i know this then i will get on with the hardspl stuff and radio stuff.

I have been researching but I was not able to find the Rogers Rom for HTC Diamond.
I have been playing around with many different roms but I have to send my device back for the repair.
Could someone please give me the download link??
I'd prefer a cab since I do not know how to install the other type of files, such as NBH and etc.
If it happens to be the NBH file, I would appreciate someone providing me the instructions on how to install NBH Rom on my device. (I'm a noob btw )

there is no way for the rom to present in CAB format. please check sticky post for how to install rom

Firstly Download Both these files:
VS10-KB2486994-x86.exe
WindowsPhoneDeveloperResources_en-US_Patch1.msp
http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=23854
Once Downloaded Install The Devleoper Resources then then VS10.
Once Installed Deploy!

I never knew that person mentioned it, sorry to that person seeing as they mentioned it before me i will close the thread. However i found the fix on anoither gaming forum site,
