At the official Samsung Servis in my country, they are already installing the official Froyo software version:
i9000XXJPH
P.S. By Servis I mean Official Repair Shop, not Internet server.
I also do not have it on my own phone but the friend who was today at Samsung because he wanted to get an upgrade for better 2.1, got 2.2 XXJPH since they got it just today. I asked him for a screenshoot and when I will get it, I will publish it here. I also called to the Samsung Slovenia and they confirmed to me that they do have 2.2 version.
And I am not from Slovakia (as I can read in some posts) but from Slovenia. Learn geography.

Flashing (original)
How I did it:
- Optional: Remove lagfixes. CFLagFix does not need to be removed before flashing, unsure about other lagfixes.
- Go into recovery and wipe data and cache, the flash doesn't do this
- Open Odin
- Put the phone in download mode and connect USB
- In Odin, select 803.pit, and ADD_P_U.tar as PDA. (I didn't do repartition coming from JM2, your mileage may vary)
- Flash
NOTE: Not everybody is able to flash right. If the above doesn't work for you, read the rest of this thread. You can try flashing JPC first, this helps for some.

It would fit the timetable originally planned, but somehow I don't believe it. The post seems too thin for such a momentous announcement.
If there is more to this, then I'm happy, but for now I'm not buying it...
ZOMG!!!!!! Hope this is true.
Make a dump of your rom please.
Also give us more details.
Can someone just check on the servers? I thought we have people who can access them directly...
The date seems to be the september 23d for official version by official way.
it is possible the rom is yet on servers
i hope so
super excited!!
i will hold out lol...remember JPC
Never forget the issues JPC brought for some (KOR anyone?)
i really hope samsung isnt about to throw in a mega disappointment with their stock froyo release! the anxiety, the wait time, the expectations....all be better justified!!!
better or fixed file system, froyo speed and memory improvements better be there in the final release!!! if the fs is not fixed, they better release the sources immediately so that supercurio can atleast build us a voodoo fix
Well, I never had the KOR problem with JPC, I installed it via Kies and never had a problem with it so far. Only problem is that I can't update the regular way now because Kies claims it can't update from JPC of course...^^

So I guess the question is now... do we have a method for decrypting this file?

* UPDATE*
Looks like all the check fus methods now no longer work. Samsung now encrypt the data sent to/from the server. IF/When there is a fix I will update the site to support it.
Hello All,
With the help of Zajec5's script for checking for Samsung Galaxy S updates I have created a website that lets you check for available updates on the Samsung fus server.
The website can be found here: http://everyrandom.com/sgs/ now: http://everyrandom.com/blog/?page_id=100
*** MAJOR UPDATE ***
Please check it out!
PLEASE HELP!
I NEED: Country (Brand), ProductCode and HIDSWVER.
For example:
Australia (Optus), GT-I9000HKAOPS, I9000DTJF3/I9000OPSJF1/I9000DTJF3/I9000DTJF3
The HWSIDVER can be the current one or an old one it does not matter (correct me if I am wrong).
The easiest way to get the info is to run Kies Registry Patcher and click on the "Read" button.
Once I have a big enough collection I am going to do batch runs and have a list of current firmwares.
I am open to any improvements and Ideas. And if someone has a list already I am sorry but I did search and come up empty. Also if someone knows how to check the fus server without the HWSIDVER that would be great!
The website is always being updated as I think up new ideas.
REF:
Zajec5's Script: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=825351
Kies Registry Patcher: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=835628

Thank you! Very useful!

Last 2.1 Eclair firmware.
I've made a small website for this (using this script: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=825351):
http://checkfus.tk/
It will remember your firmware version for a month (cookie).
It isn't bug-free, but just delete the cookie, and you can just start over again.

This will allow you to select all the codes from a table I have created.
It should include most Country Codes.
I am still looking for input! also codes that work.

Firmware info from Check Fus
Modified: 11/01/14

PDA: P1000DXKM2
Phone: P1000DXJM2
CSC: P1000OLBJM2
Decrypt Code: 3899029
Url: http://fus.samsungmobile.com/Phone_...00OLBJM3_P1000DXJM3_P1000DXKM3_DX_THL.zip.enc
still 2.2
kernel 2.6.32.9 [email protected]#1
my tab was All Signed. I can flash JME to This firmware. No need to wipe. Odin 1.7 flashed only PDA and Manually reboot with Power+up.
it's smooth so far.
Is this for general Asia Pacific region or only for Thailand?
What's the decryption code for the enc file?
I am currently using DXJM4 version, but go through Kies, no updates available. Very weired.
it's asia version not only thailand , it think euro can use it as well because mine can use euro firmware version.
decrypt code, you can see above. try to look at it again.
anyway after I use Odin to flash,it can't update via kies anymore. normally kies firmware will roll up after fus in a few day or longer.
We need Roto to makes his version of this...im sure he will soon.
Are this Rom a multi, pls ?
Thanks

IF YOUR BOOT IS STILL UNSIGNED , DO NOT FLASH SBL AND BOOT FROM THIS ROM.
It is very solid build. very smooth and browser seems to be smoother, scrolls better even when pages are still loading.
No extra apps.
Unlike KA build , kernel is signed so it can loaded if u have signed bootloader (jm*)
Very few locales, just english uk, english na and some asian.
You can repack it without sbl and boot files and flash on the top of the signed roms.

I'd like to. I have family events to attend to tomorrow, but if someone would post an unencoded firmware for download, Ill grab it and apply all the JME mods to it. In the meantime, feed back on KM2's quality is valuable. I'd hate to waste time on it just to go back to JME

Guys...I just downloaded JMF and unless you can understand Russian - You cannot get back.
The moment the phone boots, it's all Russian (or greek, or something!)
I was listed under the EURO rom, i DOwnloaded and Odin it..... but I cannot get the language to go English.
I tried to go to Locale to change it to English - but Have no idea where I am.
I tried to flash JME back, but the tab still boots up in Russian.
How can I get it back to JME?
Out of frustration I flashed the JME pit file, but not difference, still Russian.
I'm stuck
Someone have any idea?....LOL
Thanks
Don't flash KM2 either.
KM2 only includes english (UK, US), Bahasa (Indonesia, Malaysia) Ting Viet and other asian locales
Font seems to be a bit thinner - looks good!
browser still laggy with blank pages after a second site is opened
Readers Hub is back
still no 2.2.1 or even 2.3...
Build number: FROYO.DXKM2

one more thing,I don't know where to upload 3xxMB decrypted firmware , it's too big and my upload is just only 512kbps.
and I think decrypt and unzip,it's less than 5 minutes for me. or someone can help for this.
anyway, you should wait for .apk unprotect signed from roto/chainfire and flash other firmware that isn't signed.

Thanks, I will sure to download and upgrade my current DXJM4.
I downloaded firmware and it's .ecn. I can't rename file type to .zip. What can I do with it?
Samfirmware.com has this version without encrypted code.
Anyway, how could we flash this firmware without boot.bin, Sbl.bin, zImage.
As long as Roto puts his hand on this firmware. I wont dare to flash to my GT.
FYI

I'm downloading it too and will report back how it works (want to switch back to 1.2 so that I can continue developing under 1.x now that it has turned out there is no way of installing Bada 2.0 apps using current unofficial firmwares)
There's also a list of these firmwares at http://www.worcesterdwi.com/thread-145-1-1.html but they're all hacked / enhanced. I'll test them too.

Downloaded and have been trying to flash, back from XPKH3. So far, without any success.
- If I try to flash with the bundled MultiLoader version 2.62, it reports and error right at the beginning, right after (successfully) transferring the bootloader, upon trying to delete the old bootloader.
- If I try to flash with the latest (2.65) MultiLoader version, everything seems to be all right; however, after the flashing and restarting the phone, what I get is the usual connect screen with the exclamation mark. From there, I can only switch to download mode again, but nothing else.
Flashing back to the latest 2.0 XPKH3 (with 2.65, of course) always works.
I'll soon try flashing with 2.62 without overwriting the bootloader (that is, removing the checkmark from the first checkbox) to see what happens as it's at erasing the bootloader that 2.62 fails.
try this...
Download the firmware from samfirmware...

Thanks again. I've found out what I've done wrong: I've forgotten to check in the "Boot Change" (first) checkbox. When checking it in, with all the firmware versions (S8530XXJKA.rar I've linked to above; GT-S8530_XEF_S8530XXKF1_S8530OXAKD7.rar linked from the SamFirmware repo as the latest (June 2011) 1.2 firmware; even hacked ones with call recording, that is, S8530XXJKA_FULL_Custom_SHP_CR_1.0b_sYCO.rar ) I've thrown it at, it worked just fine.
I've used ML 2.65 for flashing all the time. Haven't tested 2.62 this time.
Good news...
Happy for you...

today they said that kies can be hacked and 'forced' to test mode, in this mode kies will release also firmwares that are not official and that are under internal test.
Samfirmware said that in the next days will tell the hack procedure...
tweets: http://twitter.com/#!/SamKiesUpdates
This bring us all firmwares nearly a month before release
Slyfer did a thing that is similar, it has only another method, select instead of type.
Every Firmware was selectable and there was many bada firmwares one month before release in my hands
If a done bada test firmware is out kies will distribute it in test mode.
i think that the test mode is to replace FW leaking
but kies is too buggy and i hate it
let's wait and see what hack Samfirmware got for us
best regards
how about the check fus downloader will support for test mode?

v.2.1 - File version 2.1.0.0

* Let's you enable TestMode in Kies (Please report if it works)
* Sorted model list

But it works OK, and you can install LOW rsrc2 so you don't need to change the debuglevel. It seems to be faster, there are preinstalled widgets and they works. Twitter and Facebook in Social hub works but the apps are missing. Pretty much everythig works.
Alright I installed it and have to say I like it, no crashes yet and overall it`s faster than KH3. If you move the camera it seems to be faster too. Widgets are also working. There are 4 widgets in total: Calendar, Analog clock, Date and time widget and weather widget)
How come, samfirmware were allowed to release another Beta-ROM? I thought they were scared to do that since Samsung put pressure on them. Or is it a final ROM? Why would Vodafone even bother bringing out some Beta-ROM?

They just said they are watched by Sammy and that they'll step back, nothing about beeing actually under pressure.
Either way: the new ROM is blaaazzzzing fast.
Restore functionality from KIES now works for me for everything except apps. (though several restores in a row may crash the phone).
I love Sammy and Bada
