After having changed nearly every icon in every apk in my AppDrawer, I am stuck on this one and hope someone can point me in the right direction. What apk is this setting icon in? I have looked through all the Settings apks and HtcSettings apks yet have either overlooked it time and again, or it is simply elsewhere I haven't found.

Aahhh... Paydirt! Not sure why I had not thought to check the framework folder before but I did find it in the com.htc.resources apk. Thanks nebenezer.
Would you happen to know if the com.htc.resources.apk can be pushed via adb or does it have to be done in an update zip?

It can be pushed but you'll need to "adb reboot" immediately after the push is finished.

There's a thread about this actually and it's pretty easy to change. Here you go:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=728153
Here's a thread for people to ask and hopefully get answers from people as to where certain images are located. I thought this would be very useful for people who are learning how to theme and/or having trouble finding what images change what. I will try and update the OP with all the new images that are posted and answered, and a picture would also help very much when asking for a certain how to change a certain image.

There's about 12 images in framework-res call divider_horizontal and divider_vertical.
Anyone know about the grey area in the second picture that the arrow is pointing too?

Anyone know what the name of the png or .9.png that changes the background color In the mms apk?
I have the stock framework, but since I used the motomoto theme, alot of apps are themed.
If someone with a i317 could copy their /system/app folder, zip it up and send it to me, i would be much appreciative. That was I can get out a stock de-odedex files with an extended power menu.
Its already done on mine, its just all my stuff is themed at the moment.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/a21flhlxt80wg91/framework-res.apk
That's the right place. And I assume both of these are stock?
I'm on my way home now. Give me a few hours and I'll have them up.

Same.
Ah crap. I need more files than that. I themed to many. I'll get a hold of them somehow
Unless one of you guys who is stock, no theme will zip up your entire /system/app folder and send it to me?
Send me a PM with what you need.
nevermind... I just PM'd you with a link. if there's a problem with it, let me know - I also pulled a copy of the non-sparse partition that can be mounted via a loopback device.

Flash the mod, go to 3Minit in app drawer, check either "Remove Carrier Text" or "Custom Carrier Text"
well i tried that and it crashed my phone.. it sticks at the end of my boot animation and the backup I did well it wont let me restore .. next idea?
Install xposed mod... Then xblast for xposed... Tons of other mods for xposed also
Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2
I had to reflash my rom again now it is up working fine again. still no carrier removed. but that's only a small thing I am not worrying of it any more.
Hi there
I'm on 3.15 and I was prompted with a new update (weird already as when it prompted it said 3.15 again instead of 3.18 or 3.20). I tried to click download and install but after 5 seconds of not going past 0% it would just go back to the same "Download and update" button. I even got the download on my notification bar still showing 0%...
So I decided to check how to do it manually (yes I backed up everything already) but realized the three dots aren't even here to try to flash it?
Any suggestions on how I am supposed to flash the new version?

Easy
First download the Activity Launcher
Search for "System-Update" click on it and then "Local-Update" then you can manualy update your phone

I did that, (didn't need to download as was already installed) it opened exactly the same thing as in the screenshots and behaved the same way.
Edit: Nevermind I think I found it. Just searched for "local update".
