As the title says can my incredible connect to the internet via Blue tooth?
Not unless you have a bluetooth modem/router. But the incredible only connects through wifi or verizon.

I finally got my tether to work on the unlimited data plan BUT NOW I can't get my phone to work with my PS3 but the one issue I don't get is that it works completely fine on my Xbox 360, I am rooted, and I'm usuing WiFi Tether for Root users

Sorry couldn't help out in the other thread. I don't have a ps3 to do any trial and errors.
All good man I really appreciate the effort I'm just confused because my cousins Epic 4g Touch with the same tether app works fine with both my ps3 and Xbox 360 but my galaxy s2 only works on the Xbox and not my ps3

Can you tether a computer to your phone and use internet explorer? I am getting that same error. But I think it's due to T-Mobile blocking HTTP protocol.

Lol, what app are you using to tether? I looked up the error number and it has something to do with DNS.

Yeah that's what I use. Are you able to connect and use the ps3 browser?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2
You can't tether to your ps3.. AT ALL. The PS3 doesn't support ad-hoc which is what most tethering apps use. Try tethering with the built in tethering capabilities as they broadcast using AP instead of ad-hoc.

It has the option to use AP but these phones don't. They use adhoc. Try it for yourself. Windows will report an adhoc connection not an access point. Trust me I've been through this with my own ps3. I had to tether to my laptop and then use ICS through the Ethernet port.

Well I just traded my ps3 but now my issues is whenever I tether to my Xbox 360 I can't update my games, download new items or download apps ugh I REALLY hate T-Mobile right now
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-T989 using xda premium
I tethered to my cousins ps3 last night using built in tethering in dark side v8. It worked but T-Mobile caught onto it, sent me a text and blocked AP tethering since the ps3 doesn't support adhoc tetherig that was the end of the road for that venture lol

Dude, dont use wifi tether for root users for this phone. Only does ad-hoc on this this device. Ps3 is very strict, only infrastructure network you can. Only the built in tethering works on ps3. I personally use infamous resurrection since the tether restriction was removed by the dev. I use it and haven't they haven't cut the plug yet like other roms.
On my Dz can't connect to wifi at my work. But funny thing is everywhere else I can, so the wifi is works, at home I can connect without any problem. So thats happening only at work. And, yes, I changed a lots of diffrent roms, and nothing.
Sory for my poor english.

My Rom is CM9.1-vision-3.0-V4, radio 26.03.02.26_M
But I try a few rom and nonwe of them works. At home or anywhere else mi wifi is ok, also on other phones is works, it's not working only on my DZ and only with that router at my job. When I check DLNA auto-IP then it's connct but no transfer,it's shows the connection doesn't works the internet.
On the other phone (Evo 3D) everything is fine, my settings is usual.

can others connect easy to the wifi @ your work? depending on the encryption it may not be as easy as just hitting connect. does your work use a vpn? is it secured with wpa/wpa2/etc? does your work require a proxy? there are many reasons why a phone can't connect to a hotspot. maybe best option is to ask someone at work what they did to connect.

There is a wpa2 and I try to connect with a diffrent phones(evo 3d, n95) with no problem, thats happening OLY with my DZ,no matter wich rom is on it.

Used it all day yesterday with my SIII ... worked great.....enabled BT tethering on SIII, paired, checked box that said "Use for Internet access" on the Nexus and boom......good to go........
Yes I'm not getting that use Internet access checkbox.. Hmm. I see it on the S4 side, but not on nexus
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
What do you see on the nexus side when the S3 is connected via bluetooth? what do you see when you click on the device? All I see is unpair and rename...nothing about internet access. On the s4, I see internet access profiles. How are you tethering from the s3?
