Something I posed on Androidcentral forums.
Tore apart a Slip Grip car mount from ebay ($19.95), and ordered some RAM mount parts ($10.45) from Amazon.com and turned it into something more attuned for me.
Basically I wanted something with a low profile, that I could mount under my stereo that I wouldn't have to reach to far to manipulate.

It turned out very nicely. I'm sure it will work with any Evo case I decide to use if I change it, and it's VERY adjustable. And the plus side of things, I now have a RAM mount I can use for any other RAM configuration!
Hope you guys like it.
I was looking for this car mount holder earlier, since the cheaper one I got from Ebay did not fit with a case on. I got the Soundgate M2 that I'm going to attach to this!

Any advice?
Thanks.
Hi,
I use a Boxit case for my MDAC3. It is fully waterproof and does have a handlebar mount attached.
I, however, use cable ties to attach it to the stem.
Used it for over 3 years with no problems.

How does artemis fit in Boxit case? Dimmensions says it is W25×H114×L51 mm, which is too narrow for my artemis..
Hi,
I think there are two Boxit cases a the thin one you are looking at and a wider one.
Here is a picture of my old Prophet in the case just to prove it does work

It is a slightly tight fit (often the volume slider gets pushed up as you slide it in) but it works fine and it hasn't scratched my casing at all.

Also have a look at the Otter Box 1900, the Artemis fits very nicely in the case and you can use it in the rain as it is fully waterproof (you can still use the screen though the membrane though). For attachemnet to the bike they do a RAM Mount kit which should simply attache to the bike - Mike
kakainis,
I think it is the Boxit 5.1 case I have, its dimensions appear to fit the P3300.
Go here http://www.porta-charge.co.uk/accessory_0258.html to see it.
Dimensions are 11.8 x 5.2 x 1.7cm (HxWxD).

Is this fine to use on a motorbike, or is there another product that is recommended??
Does anyone have a tripod for this phone? I've looked around and many aren't big enough. I cannot seem to find anyone specifically mentioning this phone with it's extra largeness.
Thanks!
I would also like to know if anyone found one.
I looked a bit on ebay and amazon but didnt find any good quality ones for the right price.
Mobile Grip Mini Fold-Up Smartphone Tripod
Works with pretty much any phone up to 4.6" screen. Also, if you take off the holder and adapter, you can use it with any digital camera / camcorder with a 1/4"20 screw mounting hole.

I've been looking for one of those. Looks great and the price seems right.

Ok THAT is freaking AWESOME!!
Ordered. enter pocketnow for 5% off (90cents off hey 90cents is 90cents)
I just REALLY hope it works with my Epic Touch INSIDE its tough case. I don't ever remove it from the case (and its a pain to remove it anyway)
this is SO EXACTLY what I have been looking for!
What's up guys?
Can anyone post their car dock / setup pictures for us to see along with a link they ordered it from?
I'm in the market for one and the one from Verizon themselves is quite cheap.
Please tell me this is an April Fool's Day joke. Please.
My car doesn't work well with most mounts so I made my own bracket that goes on the dash, I usually don't like universal mounts, but since I am running a case I have no choice. After a couple crappy ones I found one that works pretty well. It was at target for $13, haven't found it online. It holds the phone well and doesn't get in the way of buttons or the usb port.
It comes with a windshield and vent mount but I used a screw to attach it.

I just use the official Pogo Pin Dock from Samsung.
Here is the picture of the dock from target.

Looking for suggestions on a low profile, tight-fitting/clamp phone mount that will lay flat on the Moto-D mount pictured below.
But have screw holes on the back so it can be screwed to the Moto-D mount.
The Ram stalk mount type things won't work because they are too tall.
This is the Moto-D camera mount that goes onto the motorcycle. Then you put the camera or phone mount on top of it.

I want a mount that lays down flat on top of the gold colored mount.
Kind of like how the black box is in the pic below. Any ideas?
I'm going to give this one a try.

Does anyone have any experience with bike phone mounts? I've only seen Quad-Lock and Spigen Gearlock Stem Bike Phone Mount.
I have this one on my Pedego Element - https://pedegoelectricbikes.com/product/pedego-premium-phone-holder/
It holds my 9 securely as long as I take it out of my Spigen Tough Armor. With the case on, the phone wiggled loose and flew out twice before I just started taking it out of my case and it hasn't been a problem since.
I looked into Quad-Lock and a few others but I really don't want my phone mounted like that because I can't see it.
I have one from SP Connect.
Stuck the universal mount on a separate case so I don't have the bulge all the way.
Easy enough to swap the case when I'm going riding...
Also have one of those silicone universal wrap things which I keep in my cycling bag just in case. Also works well, but rattles a lot.
Best mobile holders are the one-hand touch that hold the device by all 4 angles and they close automatically the moment the device is touching the inside back of the holder.
Like this one at 11euro. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001507407448.html
