a new season is upon us in USA major networks primetime shows.
is there an app. that can tell me what show is going to be on what day. and exactly which episode is airing at that time.
these episode showings change all the time. so the app. will need to automatically constant update
I use DroidSeries, free on the marketplace, created by an XDA member.

I have a dish network receiver with sling built in, so I just use the dish app to watch mine. Works for live or recorded tv and its no extra cost.

if it's ok that it's not live, try out hulu:

I would also love the love film app, I'm getting my wife the kindle fire HD for Christmas but I don't want to have wait that long for it.

Is this like Netflix where you gave to pay a monthly service fee?

Is there no Lovefilm Instant app where you can actually watch stuff on the device like Netflix?

Don't get what you mean. Lovefilm is exactly the same as Netflix. Once the app is installed sign in with a Lovefilm account [I think the subscription is about £5 a month] then watch whatever you want.
Edit: I see what you mean. This is only a way of booking films/tv. There is no Lovefilm Player available for any device other than Kindle. There are numerous threads and no-one has managed to get it working on another device.
Please can you re-upload again? I need this app too. The long is dead.. Thanks

I had an HTC One before my Note 3 and the TV app was perfect, I can't get Watchon to download all my channel listings. It will show the channels with no data. Anyone have a fix or a better app to recommend?
Log out and back in. When you click Channel guide in the menu ,it shows everything. I've found a handful of wrong shows but that's to be expected

I was sitting in the bedroom last night watching the game and all of a sudden a prompt came up that said something about media device. I clicked ok and a picture of my daughter was on the screen. My fiancee came into the room with her S3 and was responsible for what was going on. Nothing additional is added for this to work with her device. Why didn't HTC add something as this to there Flagship device?

Anyone know of a way to accomplish the same task without the HTC media device?

I have used an app called "AllCast" from the play store to display photos & videos located on your phone on our Samsung smart TV.

Thanks. Tried it, choppy on videos. iMediashare works great. Found it on the play store.

Chrome cast for $35 is the universal fix. Portable and works on any HDMI tv

They probably didn't add it because they don't make TVs, which is why they have the media device

htc one can send pictures, videos and music to smart tv's. if your fiancee did it with her s3, you can probably do it to.
first, your tv and your phone have to be on the same network, so you can't use 4g on your phone. connect your phone to the wi-fi router that your tv is connected to.
second, open your gallery, click on a picture or video you want to show on your tv and click on a little "play" icon in top right corner of your phone. it will search for devices and if your tv is compatible it will be shown there. click on it and voila you can play your pictures or videos on your tv. you can do the same thing in music player.
also, depending on your rom, you can accomplish the same thing by sliding three fingers up on your screen.
note: I've noticed that it doesn't work for pictures or videos that are not on my device e.g. facebook pics and such. also my videos are choppy, but it could be my tv being not fully compatible.
well pvr stalker was working fine now since last night get error can't load channels any body else .??
Not loading for me either

I do not see any option in my settings for timeout? Do you have to add this to existing? TY
IPTV Stalker has this error all the time. Usually if you try the channel a few times it will start playing. IPTV Stlker will only be free for 9 more days. Starting July 15th it will become a paid service, so unless they start getting links from another IPTV source the IPTV Stalker app and addon will stop workng soon unless you pay for it.
Good to know, now to see what I actually use. I cut the cord and only pay for ntv addon for sports and thinking of cancelling. Kids love hulu so that's staying along with prime which we never use and won't renew.

Wish I could find something that didn't buff. I didn't mind slingtv but cancelled after they didn't even have hockey playoffs.
