Greetings,
I've flashed a modaco rom with a2sd+ and installed all my apps with astro. But only to see not one app shows up in the downloaded market area.
Someone told me it's because of astro, and I should have used titanium backup.
But I already did it a few times with astro and other roms with a2sd (and even with the same rom some days ago before I changed it again.)
Any help is welcome.
I hope it's not disrespectful to bring my post back to the first page.
Use the Force Market Fix thingy in Titanium Backup

You may clean "Market" application's data via Application Manager - it helped me.

How do you do that then?
I'm sorry I'm so clueless
Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Market > Force Close & Clean Data
Start Market, accept agreement and all your downloads will be updated.

Just a question regarding upgrading from a one ROM to another ROM, can we like preserve the applications that we had install in our phone so that we don't have to reinstall them again? Or we have to reinstall everything? What about paid applications does market automatically knows that you've purchase the app already? Thanks...

You can use an app called Titanium Backup to save copies of your applications and their settings. Then restore them back again on the new ROM. Usually the apps restore automatically anyway once you enter your google account details onto the phone, it will download all the apps you had installed previously. If you do it this way all your settings will be lost though.
And yes, market will remeber what apps you purchased.
Thanks for the quick response.. Much appreciated...

I just realized all my restored apps through Titanium don't show up in the market that I have them installed... so I'm not getting their automatic updates...
Running CM7
From Titanium Backup:
Menu > More > Market Doctor

You can install an app from the market that detects your apps, just to select them and send you to tge market to reinstall them, then n you can use Titanium Backup to restore data of the apps.
The app is called QuikMarketLinks.
Cheers!

It says "Market doctor has found no recoverable market link"
I have Cyanogen Mod 7.2.0 RC-1 in my Gio. I have installed the market by @squadzone http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=19286735&postcount=103 . I have backed up with Titanium Backup. My apps have installed but those don't appear on the Market. Now those don't updated by the Market. How i can solve this problem?
In Titanium, hit the menu key, select market tools and check out the market update section. There you can set your apps for automatic updates.
!
I think you mean you can't see them at the download/update section in the market, to fix that, you need titanium backup pro.
1. hit the menu button
2. go to market tools
3. press fix market links
4. let is scan for both system and user .apks
5. apply to fix all market links found that wheren't in the market
6. reboot
7 done
everything should be in the market now.
I have done what you said. Titanium Backup didn't give me any problem. But my apps weren't still appeared by the Market. I thank you for your interest.

Did it start after you deleted/uninstalled a system app? Possibly with TB?
2 minutes on google.....
Apparently it's a copy/paste bug a TON of people have had.
1) Factory Restore your device
2) ROOT your device, install ROOT Explorer, navigate to / > data > clipboard, select ALL and delete all, than go into your Settings > Applications Manager > All, look for TestServices, than remove updates/clear data. Reboot and everything should be fine.
And please next time you post a problem at least say what rom you're on. Are you stock? Rooted? What kernel?
You shouldn't have to factory reset. If you factory reset...the clipboard will be cleared...so, you're doing twice the work. I've had this issue. just delete the clipboard folder and reboot.
I copy and pasted that it's option 1 or 2. From now on people can search for themselves sheesh.

Hahaha... Try to be clear when giving instructions.
No, I found the solution on google in less than a few minutes. This is ridiculous.

You need to slow down, I did google search and I do not have the copy and paste bug. I'm rooted I'm stock and I clear my clipboard out every single day. I'm well aware to use Google before posting a question here, I didnt find my answer on google so I came and asked here.

I never messed with a system app.

Then why didn't you post that you had already tried that........
Because I didn't need to, if you would have dug a little deeper you would have found out the copy and paste bug along with the error I'm getting have nothing to do with each other. So before you come on somebody's post and Bash them for not using Google and not trying to find the answer there self maybe you should investigate your answer more thoroughly, plain and simple end a story.

Wow are you sure that solves this issue? Or you were busier bashing the op ad forgot that your post shows verh clearly how dumb you are since your fix is totally unrelated to his issue? @op you probably deleted one of the test.apk apps inside the system-app folder. Just go to the rom zip file and go to system then app then find all apps that have the word test in them grab those and push them into the system - app of your phone. Use root explored make sure to change permissions accordingly.

Try to go to setting > more > mobile network > access point name> your mobile operator > delete the numbers in either proxy and port just let this 2 tab empty > save
And see if it is still error.

Yap you're welcome man. It is a common problem if your provider have proxy and port it won't ever work for playstore.
