I updated to the lastest radio and CyanogenMod 6.0.1. Now when I pair my droid Incredible for stereo audio to any device or my car, the sound fades in and out/Skipping sound.
Does anyone have asy suggestions on how to fix this?
Thank you,
this is a known issue with CM6 we created a bug report here if you wanna star it to follow progress http://code.google.com/p/cyanogenmod/issues/detail?id=2062

What caused issue: newest cyanogen mod update
After updating from CM 7.1.0-RC1 to CM 7.1.0 my Bluetooth stereo in my 2011 toyota camry (when connected) only plays the mp3 (Music) player on my EVO. If the mp3 player is paused, no audio will come through from anything on my phone. All other applications, be it handsfree phone features, streaming apps, Pandora, youtube, google maps don’t come through the stereo. If the audio player is being played, other apps’ audio can come through.
Now I know the Cyanogen team messed with the Bluetooth stereo because my car stereo now displays the mp3 track names and it never did before the update. I would gladly forgo that feature to return Bluetooth audio normalcy to the rest of the phone. Even stranger, on my dad’s 2010 Lexus es, which has an older version of Bluetooth stereo, EVERYTHING works just fine! This makes me think that this is an issue related to newer bt stereo models.
It could be a while before the Prime comes to Sprint, also could be a while until CM gets ICS working on Evo supersonic.
Please help.
I am experiencing the same problems exactly as you described with my 2010 Toyota Camry. I have only been able to get the "stock" ROM with the "stock" kernel to give me full functionality. Even with the stock rom, if I upgrade just the kernel, I get the same problem. Did you ever find a solution? I have been researching on the various forums and the internet and have not found a solution yet.
I have the new ViperInc rom installed 1.1.0 and LOVE IT. With the exception of the fact that I use my phone for pandora with my JVC car stereo over BT. Unfortunately, with the beats audio, it won't allow me to listen to it. Beats kicks in and no audio comes out after the first song. I can't find a way to disable beats and I can't post in the development since I don't have enough posts.
Its funny since I have an Asus transformer TF101 running revolver and my Dinc2 running ViperInc, but nope, can't post in a threat development until I have 10 posts.
Any ideas on a fix?
Bump. Anybody have any idea why this happens? I am running Tazz Sense 3.6 with no issues, but when I go to ViperInc 1.1.0, I always seem to get the first song to play OK on Pandora through Bluetooth, then the next song shows up on my JVC headunit, but no sound out of Bluetooth. If I disable Bluetooth, everything works. If I plug in headphones, no issues either. But something about the Bluetooth and the Beats audio is screwing it up.
Hi Y'all
I bought a Bluetooth receiver which I wanted to pair with my phone.
The thing is, Bluetooth device connects and if I insert headset I can hear the sound. But when I play music in my phone with Bluetooth on, I'm not able to hear it through the headset. Sound is coming from the phone speaker.
What could be the issue? Is it do with ROM or Hardware ?
Edit #1: So I checked the Receiver with mom's Moto E2 (stock unrooted), the receiver works.
Edit #2: I found a zip in the OP of CM11 thread. It says if you have issue with Bluetooth, flash this. So I did flashed it in recovery. But it hasn't resolved the issue I'm facing.
Now, I don't want to flash Lollipop or MM rom to check whether the receiver works. Even if the receiver works, I will have that stupid audio suspend bug in those roms which is not good for me. Fortunately, I don't have that bug in CM 11 but this receiver isn't working.
Clean flashed ROM, Gapps and BT Fix .
Issue resolved. Mods can close this thread
Hello,
I can't get a good range with bluetooth on cyanogenmod 13 ROMS. I get good bluetooth audio if i lay my phone on the headphones but as soon as the phone is 12 inchs away. The music cuts out and disconnects the pairing. On my old touchwiz based rom, this was not a problem.
Does anyone have any insight of why a cyanogenmod rom decreases bluetooth distance?
Thanks
I had that same issue when I installed BlissRom. I believe @lilferraro and @SaintZ93 are working on a fix!
Like many on this forum running a Treble ROM, I cannot get bluetooth to play music through the headphones, despite the device saying that the bluetooth headphones are connected.
Has anyone found a solution for this? For now I'm using wired headphones, but would like to get this fixed. I looked in developer options and you cannot change any of the bluetooth settings. Also when I'm connected to bluetooth audio and music is playing I cannot adjust media volume.
Mi Mix 2S running Official Resurrection Remix ROM.
I have the same troble with treble ))
I posted logs here but still nobody can`t (or don`t want) to help (
P.S. I already made thread about it`s problem in this section...
