JPC Swype includes Korean support. However I have captivate (JM5 fw) so when i try to put JPC Swype apk taken from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=769374 RomMod Doc rom i get forceclose. what is the problem? is it because it is froyo apk?
JPC isn't the only one with Korean-support Swype. My Galaxy when I first got it was on DXJF4 (or JG4), which was Singtel branded. The Swype version on that had Korean support too. It's probably better compatibility-wise, since it's another Eclair build apk.
...Now, if only I knew how to deodex apks... :/
i cannot flash dxjf4 or dxfg4 on my captivate. it does not work at all can anyone help?

Hey
I have been running an english version of 6.1 on my i780 for a while now and then i recently saw that you were able to flash it on samsungmobile.com with a nordic version. Something that I would like to do since i want to use my nordic keyboard with åäö.
Unfortunately it seems like the download link on samsungs support site is broken because i can't download the file.
So now I just would like to check if anyone here has got the nordic 6.1 file avaliable? Or maybe if there is a homecooked version of the nordic 6.1 avaliable which works better?
I have tried searching around but found nothing. I would be really greatful if someone could help me.
Thanks in advance!
Even i flash any cooked rom, my T-mobile G2 still don't have original htc chinese handwriting input, can anyone tell me how to make it?
(i don't want to use original rom...)
My dhd is Arabic version, because I ordered it overseas.
The recent update has added an Arabic Keyboard in my system. This is good, but I wouldn't need that.
Is there any way to remove it?
NOTE: If your method is simply replacing with a new rom, it won't help me. Because I am with 2.42, which can't be downgraded or rooted yet.
Thanks
I wish I can help you out but I will try, use this keyboard 10 times evtyer then the stock and it should be an English keyboard. http://market.android.com/details?id=com.touchtype.swiftkey.phone.trial

Hi,
I want to know if there are a patch to install arabic for Gingerbread (arabic for reading not necessary for writing).
I found a patch (that consist on replacing libskia.so, libwebcore.so and framework.jar...) but it's not woking with Odexed ROMs.
Thanks in advance
My Rom is Cool Bravo S V3
It depends on the ROM,
Try installing an Arabic ROM, or a ROM with arabic support,
search the desire forum (and sub forums) for the word "Arabic".
Check my forum droid-force.com. Someone had uploaded a version a few weeks ago.
Hi
Is there any 4.0.3 rom that has Arabic language support and keyboard in it.
I currently have the bell galaxy nexus and i think its the only version that support arabic language and has an Arabic keyboard so i dont want to risk losing this rom.
also if i change to diffrent rom can i go to the stock bell rom later on or not.
Thanks
Arabic is built in default in ics
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
so will i get the arabic keyboard in all the roms that are available in the development section
any answers.
can some one take a screenshot of his input language menu
Thanks
ICS has Arabic language support by default but this does not mean that any ROM will have an Arabic keyboard preinstalled. For example, on my Galaxy Nexus I can see Arabic fonts perfectly, all joined up and everything, but my ROM only comes with English and Japanese keyboards, preinstalled.
So, yes. You can use any ICS ROM (more or less) and have Arabic support but you will, most probably, have to download one of the many Arabic keyboard apps available on the Android market.
My ROM is AOKP Milestone 3 (ICS 4.0.3).
