Thanks for the headsup. Have you received your order yet? Are the wraparound parts fitting well to the back of the phone?

not yet, i wasn't informed about the deal until late yesterday. Should be here hopefully by this weekend. I'll know then.
Grabbed a few for all my various phones. lol
For the Aria, I really only want the front guard. I like the feel of the soft touch., but I may use the full guard for a little while.

Most likely just water or a windex type solution. Just makes it easier to install. You can slide the protecter around to get the perfect fitiment then squeegee the liquid and air bubbles out. Thats how I've always installed screen protectors.
Came in today, but havn't put them on yet. Got to leave for work. XD

well I'm disappointed. Thr skins themselves are of very good quality however some off the skins I received were perfect while others were not.
The Magic and Evo skins were perfect.
Some off them were cut so close to perfect but ever so slightly to large which made it impossible to set it correctly without trimming it back after install else it would lift when touched. Thr arias was this way.
The nexus one skin however, wasn't cut properly. You can see were it was supposed to be cut, but it wasnt cut all the way thru so there is just an outline were the cut should be.
I guess it's hit out miss with these skins. Hows everyone elses?

I ordered on Tuesday morning and still no shipping confirmation.

I ordered like 10 days ago.. still nothing

Ordered mine two weeks ago. After the first week, I hadn't received anything, so I emailed them. They promptly sent a shipping confirmation, but no tracking number. Said delivery could be up to 9 days. Still waiting. Only paid 3 dollars though, so I'm not really that frustrated yet.

It's actually very nice. i didn't buy one they ordered the one i wanted.
But they showed me one that was in a i-phone.
Looks great.

I haven't bought one for my X10 since I would rather have a hard case than stickers but the rest of my family wanted some for their phones so since apparently I'm the only person in the house who is savvy enough to purchase things online I ordered a couple a while ago and they all arrived after about 2 weeks. the quality is actually quite good, though I'd recommend you pay the extra $2 for the Matte coating.
Another cool thing is that after your first purchase any time you buy another skin they give you a small discount (think it's like $2).
So yeah, if anyone is worried about the quality or reliability of the skins I've applied three to different phones and they are easy to put on and look great with the matching wallpapers which are really easy to get too.

Just got mine in the mail today... ordered online and got it pretty quickly...Looks very sharp and it appears like its peelable and you are able to reapply anytime you want. It looks veryyyyy sharp but doesnt offer much protection(obviously just a sticker). Somewhat difficult to put on. Needed help applying mine, but it fits just right when you get it. If you want a sharp look. I recommend this.

Bought a used White Note ....hate White ..fixed it

The phone is conspicuous enough without it being "Apple white" as well.. I would have preferred a dark one. So I ordered a cheap black gel case until I got the skin decals in the mail today.....
Since I did not want to go through the trouble of a trade I found this site and they have some very nice skin decals. Especially since I don't like cases of any kind (or "screen protectors' for that matter).
They have matching lock screen jpg backgrounds as well (although I didn't go that far). The skins apply VERY easy and no bubbles and cheap enough to replace when they get eventually get messd up from carrying in pockets.

I have a white note as well but I LOVE IT!!! I have a black "CaseMate" barely there case on it and it has the perfect mix / contract of Black and White.
This thing is a SEXY BEAST!!!

Here are some pics of the design I chose. The cut is good. My application a tad rushed LOL.... But NO bubbles. The way they design these decals makes installation easy, FAR easier than screen protectors which I stopped using a long time ago.

Looks cool, but i think gelaskins looks better but its more expensive.
Maybe ill order one skin

Yeah Gelaskins do look better and the customization and the ability to use your own artwork or photos is cool, but my phone is not really a fashion statement. In fact I want to keep it low key which is the reason i am using a dark skin..(makes the phone appear smaller) I just wanted to cover up the white as cheap as possible and keep it reversible.

Thanks for the site! I was looking a Gelskins myself, but 15 bucks seemed a little steep for some ink and gloss, and 2 weeks shipping? No thanks. I got myself 2 for the price of one at decalrus...mad awesome!

I originally searched High and Low for a White International Note, and was willing to pay a premium. Just when I was about to pull the trigger, I saw a local guy selling a Black Note on here for a decent price... ended picking up the Black and buying a White AT&T Note on a free upgrade my dad had - boy was I glad... In pics, the white looks gorgeous but for everyday use, i'm glad I ended up with a black!

I stumbled upon mytrendyphone (just add www and .com) whilst searching for skins for the Note, since i don't want to order things from overseas.
just thought i should let you guys know

I have used many gelaskins on many different devices. Their quality is the best. Decalgirl I would rate second best. Plenty of choices.

Another thing I like about the decalrus and decal girl ones are the full front covers, and not just two bars. Then, they also don't have the side stickies, and middle button one. Oh well, can't win 'em all!

I'm waiting for them to release Ferrari Red Carbon Fiber and ordering a custom. Actually been waiting forever for them to finish on the One. They had problems with the HTC tolerances. No other skin company can top dbrand's precision and quality. If you order a custom from them you can request a drawing and they'll mail a sketch to you too lol.

yeah dbrand skins are top notch.

I prefer icarbons.com for these types of skins. They actually offer front back and side covers for our phones. Plus the quality is superb. Currently have one on my iPhone 5 that has lasted me 8 months and no signs of failing. Just ordered one for my Htc one.

iCarbons is good, but unfortunately they don't have leather look vinyl nor do they take custom orders. I do like that they allow you to order the accent pieces seperately tho.

I had a dbrands skins on my N4, cut/fit/alignment was perfect. I now have a iCarbons on my One, fitment is just ok. I could not get the HTC logo and the camera/flash cutouts to line up perfectly. I ended up sacrificing camera/flash alignment for better logo alignment. On a TMo One.

I assume it wasn't enough to cause flaring in flash photos? I can't remember whether it was the dbrands or iCarbons developer that was complaining about wandering HTC logo placement across different phones.

Did a mockup and sent it along with my request so they've a better idea of what I mean when I gave the description of what I am looking for.
Just waiting to hear back from them for pricing n estimated completion timetable.

that's really nice, how did you design it? how much do you think this will be and how to do a custom request?

Custom designs are priced on a per design basis. I'm still waiting to hear back on the total pricing and estimated completion timetable. Ill post the price I'm quoted at one it has been determined so others can get a rough idea of costs. All custom order requests should be sent to [email protected]
the design was made with gimp using the photos they had up on their website for the device and materials. I'll gladly upload an xfc or psd file if anyone wants to come up with their own design to submit.

I also ordered just the back, in black leather. I didnt receive any email today though.

I've received a email, the custom skin will cost 75$ which includes 2 layer of back skins for 10$ each, the top and bottom for 5$ each and the 15 $ per hour for the work of 3 hours. Seems pretty reasonable if you ask me, i'll order it around next week and let you know

For those that may wonder why they are so expensive, here an email detailing the breakdown.
We’ll first briefly outline the process for customs, so you can get an idea for why the pricing is what it is: We take a blank base layer, then assemble (by hand) a second layer using multiple pieces that fit together (like a puzzle) to form the design requested by the client. We charge 2x the base rate of a normal skin, as it uses 2x the material of a normal skin, and an additional $15 per hour in assembly time. We also provide multiple photoshop mockups of the design for your approval before we do any final cutting.

The base rate for an HTC One back piece is $20, as the middle back piece is the only custom part. The upper/lower back pieces and the front pieces come at the normal rate of $5 each and we offer you two sets in any two styles you want. In your case, you’d likely want them in either red, black, or white (the colors of your design).

From the looks of your design, it would require about 31 pieces and 3 hours to manufacture. This would bring the final cost to $75 (20+5+5+15*3). If you want to continue, send the payment via PayPal to [email protected] and email us with your delivery address once payment has been made. We’ll get you booked for the weekend and start on design mockups.

Mine was $65. Ferrari Red Carbon Fiber and Gold Titanium Spider-Man Iron Spider logo ftw. On my Nexus 4 I ordered one that was around $50. I'm thinking of getting wood texture for my next custom. This with the Red DevilCase will look sexy.
You can actually ask them to make a doodle for you too lol. If you look on their fb they show the sketches they've done for people.

But i would be really surprised if there are not a dozen phone case makers turning out similar products in a few months. I'm actually wondering why they are not there already? Maybe Motorola didn't release outside dimensions ahead of release like they do for many phones.

Great find! I may order the white one.. The only thing Im iffy on, is its covering up the beauty of the silver
Love the idea. but then again, its just more bulk to the watch (which is already big on my smaller wrists)

Short or tall version? This looks very interesting.

This is definitely interesting, I like it. To bad the shipping is almost as much as the case itself. Any discount codes for the site? I think I might just have to order one.

I ordered the matte black one today. I already have a few scratches on the side of the watch and bezel, but I managed to buff them out for the most part. This will help keep it from getting more scratched up I think. I'll post pics once I get it.

I just ordered one with USPS First Class shipping total out the door $12.99

That's a reasonable price, the problem is i live in Puerto Rico and it shows $19.99 for ship to a total of $27.99, and some sites think we are international shipping. We have in PR USPS, UPS, Fedex that I use always without problem. Sending a small like that would be like 5 to 6 bucks on USPS.
For example: Yesterday i was going to buy a Amazon Fire TV for my boss, and I was unable to buy, even calling amazon support they told me they cant be shipped to Puerto Rico, and the crazy thing its I have a Fire TV since launch that I bought directly from amazon and received via UPS next day and she saw the order on my history he don't even know how i do it. I have prime and I receive the diapers for my toddler second day via UPS. Crazy stuff LOL

I live in NY so I have asked Shapeway if there is any way I can come pick it up. Their website does mention the fact that they are cool with personal pickups.
