[Q] Silicone case with a holster

I am looking for a horizontal holster that will work with my silicone case on the Captivate. I sent a note to Amzer and they replied that they don't have a compatible case. I am still using my Palm Treo holster that I have used for my Tilt and Tilt2. It fits sort of, but it can be a struggle to get it out.
Does anyone know of a holster that will hold a Captivate that has a silicone case?

Well I am looking for the same thing. I purchased the Body Glove snap on case with Holster, which is nice, but it sticks out from your side so far that I actually hit a door jam with it. Also I don't like the fact that it has my screen facing out, so I went back and put my body glove mirage case on.
I am about to head to the verizon store and look at holsters they have for the droid x. My step mother has the droid x and she got a case/holster set with it, the holster fits my phone fantastic, but its just a plastic holster. Problem of course is you would have to purchase the combo set, which means the case is useless for our phones.
Like I said, I am going to look now at the Verizon store and see what they have.

Case with belt clip

I just bought a $3 (with shipping) plastic case with belt clip on Ebay, and it was a bust. Its securing clip locks into the detent for the battery cover and the only way to remove the phone from the case is to wrestle it loose, and in most cases the battery cover pops off in the process. Unacceptable.
I only need a cheap case for the gym, something that gives access to the earphone jack and has a belt clip. I would also like for the phone to be removable easily. Any other time and the phone stays in my pocket. Any recommendations?

Why not try one of the arm band pouches that people always put their iDevice in?

I got this case when I first got the phone. I wasn't sure I would like it. That was 8 months ago.
About a mount back, I took the clip off my belt and just dropped the clip on the floor in the bedroom. Somewhere in the process I stepped on it and cracked it. So at $7 I just bought two more (the cracked one actually still worked fine).
This case usually is great because of the texture that keeps it from slipping.
But just last night at work, I was carrying my phone and as I moved it from one hand to the other, it slipped. It went crashing to the concrete floor and slid about 8 feet. I can't find a mark on the phone or case anywhere. hard to believe but even the case is spotless from the fall to the concrete.
One of the best investments I have made right there.

Amazon/Verizon Holster
That Amazon/Verizon Holster is the same one I have. But I overpaid at Verizon. $20. Get it at Amazon. Verizon makes enough in overcharging. It is the exact same one. I really like it also. But I will warn you, this one too is a bit tough to get out of the holster without "popping the back. It is made to be snug. The brand Imprinted on mine is Qmadix. Hope this helps.

This. Ordered it with amazon prime yesterday and got it today. Also let me be the first to tell you I have tried just about every case, and this basic shell/holster always comes out best.

I got this a verizon for $20. Like another poster, I was really happy with it untol I stepped on the belt clip on the flor and cracked it. Found it on Anazon and bought two. This works VERY well IMHO. I've tried others, and always return to this.

I have been using the Platinum case with clip from Best Buy. I believe its the same as the Seido. Looks great, and has protected the phone well, and the clip is easy and convenient to use.

Shipping is double the cost of the holster! Are they still $20 at Verizon?
This was my favorite case for my Droid X! Always seemed to come back to this one bc of its size and it comes with a belt clip.

I have the platinum case that came with a belt clip that you can attach to the cover.
But it was about $30 if I remember.

Side Case/holster?

Anyone have a side case with a solid belt clip that they are using with a Diztronic (TPU-cases)?
I have been trying the pocket and shirt pocket but so far its driving me nuts. I think I need to go back to a belt holster but I like my current case so im looking into holsters like this:

The issue I have with many of this style is the poor belt clip lacking something from the bottom to keep it from sliding off.

Verizon sells one. Back before the LTE version came out, I walked into a local store with my GSM version and had them pull out whatever accessories they had that could work.
It's the biggest generic one they sell, ~$20. It's got a clip, not belt loops. I have a Diztronic TPU case on mine, and it stretched the case quite a bit, but at least it fits. The salesperson had a RAZR with a case, and her's also just barely fit (they're almost the same height).
I personally am looking now at the plastic holsters where you can snap in the cased phone.

Seidio makes really good holsters that sometimes can accept other cases on them . The draw back is Seidio is very proud of their cases and holsters . Im sure there will be cheaper alternatives coming out shortly .

There's a nice thread on this forum that summarizes 4-5 different holsters. The Seidio one is about $25 or so, without the case even. There's a real cheap $7+ one from htcpedia, which I have incoming, but reviews have not been good =P.

the siedio surface holster fits a tpu case pretty well. i added some "shims" to tighten it up some using the loop part of velcro on the bottom retainer tabs of the holster and it fits perfectly.
it's actually my current combo that i'm using.

Good belt pouch that fits the S3

In case anyone is looking for a good belt pouch, with a solid clip, that fits the Galaxy SIII well, let me recommend the one I got: The Nite Ize Clip Case Sideways Large (I can't yet post links, but it's $10.22 at Amazon; ASIN is B006HMRBGQ). I've had Nite Ize pouches for years, and the belt clips in particular are very strong and reliable. I'd prefer a zipped top to the louder Velcro, but otherwise it's been a great choice. {ProfJonathan}

I've always ever used Krussel and I've recently bought Hector XXXL (or 3XL) on eBay for about 12 quid. You can get one on Amazon for about 20 bucks.

I don't know if you live near a ATT Corporate store or not but I found a very nice leather belt pouch there for $20. It is big enough to fit the GS3 with a decent size case on it. I had to break it in a little bit but now it fits my GS3 with a Incipio Dual Pro case on it. I also ordered a leather pouch made for the Galaxy Note but that is way to big.

Can anyone recommend a good belt holster?

I've been browsing Amazon and all of them seem to have their flaws. Can anyone recommend a good belt holster for the S3? I want to get one for my dad.

I'm using a Tmobile branded belt holster/case combo.
$30 gets you a very smooth and skin tight back case that has a built-in stand and a easy clip, rotable belt holster
I like it very much so far.

i wanted that seidio holster as well but it was $30 so i settled for a reiko holder. i got it for $5 but now its $7. hurry and grab this if you want it in black. there arent much left. only complaint i have is that when i place the phone screen outward, the top release clip sometimes doesnt retract back all the way and it takes the plastic casing with it. but besides that, no complaints. adds a good 8th of an inch to the front of the phone so if you happen to drop it face down, it'll be safe for the most part. also the clip rotates, and idk if you got the part where the phone can be secured facing the front or back lol
