Updating ROM without losing data?

Hello esteemed chefs!! and everyone else too I was wondering if anyones given this a look. Seems like its going to be workable very soon. Would be great to have this going for the hermes too especially with all the great new roms coming out every now and then.

Hey im basically a noob at this phone. i havent even recieved it yet. hopefully today. anyway I was wondering if I could get some opinions on some of the custom roms here. I have energyrom on my fuze and i love it but I am also interested in shadowline. can I get some input.

only way to find out whats best for "you" is to get flashing

I recently read about the UltimateDroid ROM. I am wondering how your experiences with this ROM were/are. Is it actually as easy to customize as everyone mentions? Thanks.

Sorry if this question is a bit monotonous, but I just received mine in the mail today and it's rooted.
What ROMs would everyone recommend?
I was running CyanogenMod on my M7 (which I loved), but I don't think it's out for the M8 yet.
What are some good alternatives? Thank you, friends.

Check the roms yourself, we are not going to recommend one as it will result in a rom comparison thread. And that's forbidden. Have a browse and test a few.....
