I want to just say thank you all for all the hard work you do that sometimes goes unpaid or even a simple thank you. I want to say thank you for making our phones everything that the corp greed machine doesn't want to work for.

I am a fresh nub to this!!! Ive only been reading this forum for a week now but have learned sooo much about my phone and the things it can do! i knew NOTHIN at all about this. [Theme] ToonDroid cm-4.04 Only! - My Last Theme!!!!

well as some of my close xda friends know this will be my last theme for a while!
and as many know my life has been a joke for the past 2 yrs... someone has been laughing but its not me...
our apartment was broken into and everything is gone! we do have home owners ins. though and no one was hurt.
my laptop among many other items of my work is all gone!
I am at a friends house posting this and these are the files that were on my phone...
this theme is workable but not finished, sadly
I wanted to give the people a piece of my last work to remember me, i wanted to fix this and do so much more but i cant
so here it is, unfinished though

This was unexpected.

Well I know this is sudden and possibly stupid, but I'm retiring from ROM development completely for those reasons:
1. I don't have the time anymore. I strive to be a game designer and that's my focus, dividing my attention unfortunately at my age isn't really an option considering I have a job currently and I need to pay the bills.
2. I got stuck in the development of CM7, and with lack of tutorials and my little time I can't really get past beyond the point I'm at. Fret not though, with luck Arco68's CM9 should be around the corner. He's really good and won't disappoint you like me. Give him time though =P
It was a pleasure to give a small push to this phone's community which I will keep an eye on (I will try to run for mod of this phone's forum, who knows, eh). For a good in-development ROM for now, look at cowithgun's rom, he's constantly updating it =P

Hey KP, I hope you will rethink about this decision, because you're an awesome guy and programmer!
But as always, your life comes first. So settle things with your job and then retake ROM development when you have the time for it

This is like a re-run of when I was involved in ZTE Blade on Modaco......
Dev wbaw, brilliant guy, always said "this is my last ever ROM" going to concentrate on Building Websites, yadda yadda......

Just make sure you make time for all the other things in life, believe me, it's too short, so take care of the Work-Life Balance.......

Before switching to my new device i need to say Thank You for all. You let me learn how to do or not to do... As im switching Note 2 right now i need to tell :
@arsradu : Thank you sir for your special efforts You have teached me lots of things. And the best thing i learnt is patience from you. CM 10.2 was awesome like you!
@sir mordred: Dude even if you understand and treat me wrong i like to see how you are trying to improve that lil device. Keep up the good work! KK Adreno drivers was awesome!

Well, what can I say? I'm glad I could help. And as you can see, even though I'm not using Ancora anymore, I'm still here, still trying to help, still having fun developing Android in my spare time and, nonetheless, still being here for the people I care about. I was a new user myself and I learned a lot from the more experienced ones and from my own experience and, sometimes, even from the regular users. Cause, in my opinion, a good idea can come from anyone.
I'm happy for your new acquisition. It's a good phone. Have fun with it!

jasongwatts & ROM

Hello everyone!
(I having an relly good rom for the SM-T520. However I can't post to the Development area because I just made an account. I think people would like this rom a lot.)
However,
I saw that the user jasongwatts has a rom too for it. So, since I can't post there jasongwatts I wanted to ask you if you would consider joining hands with me and making possibly a team and combining our roms together to make an epic rom. :victory::victory::victory: What do you think? Good idea or not? I can give u my current one if you like to see how it is.

Oh by the way, is there any other dev that would want to work with me for developing roms for the SM-T520?

Hey! I'm ik4evr2. (Previously known as ik4evr until I had account issues). I originally did start the SM-T520 rom thing but because of really bad account issues that happened twice I quit. But i've taken many precautions now & would love to collaborate with you to make a rom! I'm ready like right now if you are. :good:
EDIT: By the way I saw that you were inviting jasongwatts. I'm cooling with making a team and working together. I think we all together could come up with a great rom.

We have added things like aroma installer (thanks to sh0cksquatch) and much more.

Woohoo! So glad to see you guys getting together and working on ROM's for this tablet. I come from a xoom that has been kept alive thanks to the devs running 4.4.2. I was hesitant on getting it due to the lack of people working on the 10.1.
