I have a att tilt with the stock htc tytn2 wm 6.1 rom and everything works fine.
I like android build from www.androidonhtc.com
however when i user the build using the sd in fat32 system I cant get bluetooth to work even with the update and i cant get the camra to work even in still shot.
i would like to nand flash and remove wm 6.1 but i need a android 2.1 build with bluetooth al least for calls and al least still picture working.
Help
I have search through and tried several builds.
I would like to know what build has the most working and is the most stable?

To be perfectly honest, that site is way out of date, which is why you cannot get things working, since the builds there are also out of date.
For 2.1 there are only two I can recommend at present, VaniljEclair RLS11, which is based on Cyanogen Mod 5.0.8, and Polymod 2.1D ( Maintenance version ), based on OpenEclair 1.3.0.1.
Both are about as complete as it is possible to get at present, both are quite fast and stable, both have working Bluetooth and camera, so the choice is yours, or try both
I have tried thoes builds and the color bit depth is off.
That's wrong panel, for nand, try either editing the nbh using loserskaters nbh editor, or edit default.txt if haret.
As you are still on haret you should try to identify which panel type you are using before going Nand, since this will help make it an easier transition
would using the default.txt from androidonhtc.com work?

Well both builds I linked already have all the files needed to run nand or haret, you would not need those from the other site, you will have to rename the default-kaiser.txt file to default.txt, and edit the default.txt file, if you read my instructions in the Polymod thread that will work for both of those eclair builds.

I did that on VaniljEclair RLS11 and thats when i got the problem with the color
Both Vanjil and Polymod use the same haret files, and are set for panel2, since this is the most common panel type, so you should try editing default.txt to choose panel1, the line board-htckaiser.panel_type=2 controls what panel type is used, which is where the color depth problem comes from, change the 2 to 1 and it should be a lot better looking, if this does not work, change it to 3.
I switched the VaniljEclair RLS11 to panel 1 from panel 2 and now its working properly.
side note what is the most stable froyo build for the tilt?
how much of an emprovement will it be in speed for me to go to nand from fat32 in sd?
To be honest I'm not a big fan of Froyo, for me it has always been a little to hungry for memory, even on my G1, however I have tried Kallt's CM6 port, and Incubus' build is also getting good reports.
I'd tend to recommend Kallts build, since I know it is pretty stable, but that is no diss to incubus, just never tried it yet, spending most of my time on Polymod just now
Incubus26Jc's Super FroYo
I just installed "Incubus26Jc's Super FroYo", and it is working great on my Tilt. I installed it to NAND with 'kaisimg-panel2-320-tilt-froyo-26-07-10.nbh'. Everything appears to be working and so far it seems to be a really stable build.
how is the preformace and what works and what doesn't?

i dont see a super hero anything.. jus hero... can you send me a link to the one your using? like can u upload it somewhere?
what i did was download android 1.5, then downloaded super hero build and replaced files in android. then replaced again with the jackshero ski1.6. this method should give you all the files you need and also be the most stable. for me anyway. you will want to extract the resources.zip. it will make a media directory on the root of storage. then put everything else on the root of storage outside of media folder. then simply run heret.exe.

Edit your default.txt
If you want a different LCD density, add an option lcd.density=xxx after the ppp options. 160 is default, 128 was the old "hiRes". Google Maps only works at 160.
If you don't want it to connect to data, add an option ppp.nostart=1.
I dont know if everyone has this issue or only myself....
My screen seems blurry, especially on linux boot, I attempted the lcd density adjusment as per above but can not seem to get it as clear as it used to be when massey started the project.
anyone have idea's? Am I possibly making a mistake? is everyone running into the same results?
all the sudden i keep going back to the htc logo screen and reloading everything all the time

you have to have the latest pointui installed. then enable it in today settings and then after it boots up disable it. then install the point sense suite cab. re enbable pointui in today settings. then switch themes in the pointui settings to point sense.

Do you install it to main memory? Seems like too huge for main?
ive been testing this new Xrom build for a few hours and it has hero theme with clock/weather widgets and runs very smoth and fast. i recommend trying it.
all you should need is the latest mission package zip (includes android 1.5)
http://code.google.com/p/vogue-andr...e=mssmisonpackage.zip&can=2&q=&sort=-uploaded
then replace the system sqsh with the one below
http://code.google.com/p/vogue-andr...system-xrom1.4r3.sqsh&can=2&q=&sort=-uploaded
make sure to put everything on the root of the storage card
then run haret exe
you can download as many free apps and widgets as you want from the marketplace app. Also you can add as many pages as you want to the UI.

If you update wifi (3-4patches wifi works)
What version should I take? convince me.
My Touch Slide. I tried the beta and its fast! Haven't Use Super Eclair but Hero take forever for the dialer to start.
I find this supereclair version also very fast, but maybe it's different when using wifi(in a bad way).
exist any version adnroid for Kaiser in which they work and bluetooth? I have not tried Warm Eclair Donut and Eclair by polyrhythmic but bluetooth still not working
Super Eclair RLS2 with my wifi update seems really nice so far. Finally a fast QVGA release to replace the no longer updated polymod 2.1d that I have kept coming back to.
I don't see a thread here with Super Eclair. Did you guys put your own together?
Too bad Poly vanished. I don't know if he's having real life troubles or bought a new phone.

which nbh works for kaiser and wifi on the new Incubus 2.1?
Holy crap, I just creamed myself. I'm going to try out Super Eclair. Guess I still need kallt_kaffe's GPS fix, if I want good GPS, or is that included now?
BTW, if you check polyrhythmic post count it hasn't increased in over a month. So if he got a new phone it's probably an iPhone.

My GPS fix is in the kernel. Use my kernel (see separate thread) and the GPS will work very well. No freezes at all. RLS2 of Super Eclair missed had the wrong libgps.so for Android but that is included in RLS. You still need my kernel for a well working Kaiser GPS.

It's just that mssmisons eclair (v7 and v8) and Super Eclair (based on mssmisons eclair v7) looks for boot animations on sdcard. Put a bootanimation zip file in a folder called "bootanimation" on the sdcard and it will use it. Put several bootanimations there and it will choose a random one each time.

Anyone else have problems with video (youtube, etc). Mine just loads the first frame and stops. Audio keeps going though. If i put it on lo-res mode then the first frame just hops about the screen. Any ideas?
Even tried installing Skyfire but that don't work either.
Installed SuperEclair 2.1 install on SD card. 1 x FAT32, 2 x ext2 (1 system, 1 data).

I have exactly the same problem. Eventually it gives the error that "This video cant be played." Its the same for any mpgs or avis from sdcard or any video at all. Doesn't seem alot of people have this problem though as I asked before and there warent any replies.
EDIT 11-09-2010:
It is done! This one here dated 11th September 2010 is so far the fastest running Port I have made. Indeed it runs like hell on my Diamond. This one is RC2 and close to final. The Base has changed completely. RC1 used Incubus's SuperFroyo-ROM. Now, RC2 is using [email protected]'s SuperFroyo-ROM and has a great Superman-Styled-Theme.
What's working on my Diamond:
WiFi, Data, Bluetooth, Market, Sd-Card, this & that
Notice:
This build has disactivated compcache - but runs fast w/o it! To activate it you may use terminal. If you are kind enough then just play around with swapper2 and let me know what works best for you: Compcache or Swap?
Neopeek's SuperFroyo RC2 Port [CyanogenMod6]
I just installed an xandroid 2.2 rom or build(whatever they call these things) yesterday and ran the haret file to launch into it. If it's no more than unpacking this to your root of your card and clicking the haret file than I can give this a try.........thanks

Scoot CyanogenMod 7.1.0 RLS3
This is a build I have compiled from the official CyanogenMod source files and adapted for Kaiser/Vogue. Feel free to give it a go at your own risk!
Well, it still isn't quite as snappy as Froyo and the camera still doesn't work properly but it's probably about as fast as Gingerbread will get on our devices. I'm bound to have messed a few things up but i'll continue to work on it when I get time
All the usual things are working as far as i know, GPS works fine for me but the camera is as always not fully functional.
All of this is thanks to the guys working on the CyanogenMod roms and of course, none of this would work without all the hard work on the kernel so big thanks to dzo, vilord, l1q1d etc...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
RLS 1:
Initial Release
Includes most of the Google Apps including Maps, Gmail etc..
Latest Market is included
RLS2:
Built from the latest 7.0.2 source
Optimised EGL for our devices
Updated Market
LDPI and PNG optimisations to save space & increase speed
ADW Launcher updated
Loads of tweaks and status bar changes
Updated RIL lib
Loads of fixes and optimisations
**I recommend leaving the phone for 5 minutes after installing to sort itself out and cache apps etc...**
RLS3:
I can't really be bothered to list all of the changes, there are quite a few but I just compile the thing, the changes are in the CyanogenMod repository. I have included the updated RIL and all of the Google Apps are up to date. The camera is still ****e but that's a driver issue. This release hasn't been heavily tested as I don't use my Kaiser as a main phone anymore So i'm sure you will find issues in which case we can sort them out as and when. Enjoy!

btw, which kernel do you suggest for this build?
thanks in advance
Hmm for some reason I cannot boot to android the phone has been stuck in boot loop for the last 15 minutes. I have an app.img file with about 80 applications so this might be a problem I'll try to boot it without the app.img. Both data and system on sd card imgs + latest '25 kernel.
Edit.
Ok I have removed the apps.img and it still doesn't boot.
I have noticed that there have only been modules for '32 kernel included in the build. Should it work with '25 kernel with proper modules added?
I'll wait for All Languages version to test it with the new kernel.

YES! you can
To view Battery percentage, you need to set that in Cyanogenmod Settings (correct me if I'm wrong here since its been ages when I used CM build)
Yes, you can do that it's actually very simple. Just remember to edit your .nbh before every install if you are changing versions (donut, froyo, eclair).
Cheers. Welcome to Android world

The bar at the bottom of the scrren can disappear if you swipe down on the screen, it is a bit random but is a flaw in ADW launcher. To get it back you need to press the 'menu' button and go to 'settings' then go to 'ADW Settings, UI Settings and untick 'Dockbar'. Re-select 'Dockbar' and exit settings and it should be back I expect some freezing, it is still under heavy development and our devices are quite limited hardware wise so there won't be any miracles yet I overclock my Kaiser to 500Hz using ATools, a lot of people don't recommend it but it is what i have always done and i have never had any problems, it speeds the phone up a fair amount. Just tick the option when editing your NBH. The phone obviously needs to be connected to data or wifi for weather widget to get location information, i just tried it with wifi and it worked ok, there may be an issue with data though, i'll look into it Thanks for testing.
CAMERA
camera is not working properly but it looks awesome i will try to apply the update from previous cm to see if this will work
camera
after applying the update android can`t start so i am going reinstall it

edit-problem solved
First impressions, after ~ 1 hour of digging:
- seems to run smoother than previous version;
- battery drainage better even than FRX05`s;
- WiFi works OK;
- camera OK;
Using 01277 kernel from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=536877&d=1299597262
Always freezes on my Blackstone with "Using 01277 kernel from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...7&d=1299597262" this kernel
I need help!
I was waiting the haret to be done, I calibrated the blackstone, and then it turned on as ginger bread.
The Led was orange and i thought it was problem of android, but I realised that I havent battery and it closed and it couldnt turn on again.
I removed battery and put it back again and when I turned it on, it was back at windows, without any sign of android.
I have to do the haret again or what?

Strange. It works for me but I use original GBX0A bundle with 11.3 system and my own kernel/rootfs.

Haret doesn't delete Winmo from your device. Haret just loads Android while removing Winmo from RAM. You need to run Haret every time.
Hi, I installed and it works and has a good look and feel. But i'm stucked on the keyboard problem. Each time I try to write, the keyboard doens't show the keys and I can't proceed. Any help (for dummies) about how to activate the Japanese IME? Thanks

on any text input, press longer until there's a menu pop-out to select "Input method" option then choose "Japanese IME"

Android now works off the SD card and is not touching Winmo ROM on your device. However it saves settings and stuff and is very usable (I use it on a daily basis). We're working on full NAND rom that will replace Winmo but it's difficult - so no ETA yet.

Can't wake the device up after going to sleep while mobile data is on. Is this a known bug? Also sometimes is not connecting to mobile data at all. Other than that, it's really usable.

I would be so happy if I could use Android on my Touch HD on a daily base, too!
In these threads there are many users as myself experiencing random freezes of the device, in particular if not used for a while.
I have this problem with Froyo version, both X-Red and FX05 builds...
Any advice to avoid the mobile freezes and/or doesn't wake up?
I also tryed changing the sleep parameter to "2", instead "1" but no hope!
