Hey guys, are you able to goto the picasa web albums using the stock browser in htc desire (stock 2.1)?
Works fine for me. Using stock browser with official 2.2 update.
I'm able to get in too, just that the albums are not appearing, you have that issue?

I'm able to see Albums and can view pictures. Both the mobile version and desktop version of the site works just fine for me.
Sounds to me like you have java-script disabled. Check to make sure that's enabled first.
I have enabled the Java Script already but I'm still unable to view the albums.
Are we talking about the same site? http://picasaweb.google.com/home

This is kinda buggin me. Whenever I happen to stumble over a Youtube video on the web, the ****ty HTC flash player opens up. Why can't I open it in the youtube app? I tried clearing defaults, but it doesn't do.the trick.
Is there any hack to enable youtube app as the default viewer for youtube videos in the browser.
I know I can use other browsers to work around this, but I really like the default browser.

Yeah it sucks, and there is nothing you can do about it. A stupid decision by HTC imo.
You can root and install froyo no stupid decisions that HTC have made will effect you there
I wish htc would sort this, or at least give the option to adjust the flash player settings so we can chose high quality video!

I installed Dolphin browser HD which gives me the option of which one I want to use.

It does ask with Dolphin HD browser. However I haven't found an option to make a permanent choice of Youtube viewer.
Hi/I am running stock rom rooted with visionary r14.and unlocked with gfree,the problem is I can't open Facebook uploaded videos,most of them,error message,like these videos can't b played on this device.please help me to fix this prob.thx in advance.

I think it's the Facebook App honestly. Try using either Dolphin HD browser set to Desktop mode, or the stock browser in desktop mode and use Facebook from there.

Cannot play video in Facebook
Hi,
I installed CM 6.1 and cannot play Facebook videos (YouTube Videos play fine) with the error "Sorry, this video cannot be played"..
Already factory reset and installed adobe flash player a couple time...
I had the same issue with my G2 stock ROM but the videos play fine on Virtuous Desire Z ROM's...
Any idea how can i fix the issue ???

Installed Vplayer and all videos work now
I wanted to install the stock froyo pdf viewer to the custom HD ROMs but am getting FCs. I have tried but failed.
Basically I extracted the apk and lib files from the stock Rom and put them in their respective directories. However, am getting FC after flashing the rom.
CAN ANYONE HELP PLZ???!
ps. I know there is other pdf viewers etc as well as Adobe viewer (new version) but I want this one as pdf is essential and this one is the best I have found.
Any help will bt most appreciated.

I installed adobe reader direct from the adobe web site on my desire running a hd rom and it works fine for me.

I know but that is the new revamped app they have made. I wanted the Adobe pdf viewer le edition. Basically the older one as the new reader u have doesn't have the toolbar option aswel as zooming is not as good

Hi all, I have been using sense ROMs for a while now and thought I'd switch to an AOSP ROM. I have tried oxygen, cm7, miui, gingervillain but I cannot use YouTube while connected to the mobile network. YouTube just displays an cannot connect to server error when loading a video.
Any ideas?

Not sure if you've tried this or whatever, but I used to have problems getting Youtube videos to load, I would get the same error.
Clicking on the HQ button (and then either leaving in HQ or pressing again to revert to SQ) allowed the video to load.

After I upgraded to JB I can't access my Google music library on my Hox anymore. I can view it in a browser when using Tunnel Bear at Google play. I am still unrooted and on stock ROM cause I just got the phone back from repair and just want to see if its OK before I go with ARHD 18
Anyone have a solution for this?
