[Request]Extract Stock Wallpapers from CM 5.0.8ds? - G1 Themes and Wallpapers

Can anyone tell me if I can extract those sexy soccer girls from the Cyanogen Mod 508ds. I can't find them on the internet in full image. And I love his wallpaper layout. I know how to extract to all the roms .apk's, but can't decipher which is wallpaper layout or even how to apply an internal .apk.

yes you can extract the wallpapers from your phone. Keep googling.

Open the apk using an app such as winrar and browse through the folders until you find it. All the wallpapers are there.

galaxy S UI images

if anyone with a rooted device could bring up all the UI images for touchwiz into one folder that would be great. Im designing a theme for my ipod touch based around it and would really appreciate the help. I cant do it myself because my phone is broke.
bump.......
Look around for framework-res files. Sure you can find some online.
cant seem to find the files your talking about :/
someone please help
I made a package containing framework apks from JS5, you just have to extract them and look into the "drawable" folders.
Download it ☛ here.
i have them downloaded now what do I do?
and arent apks cracked apps..?
Now rename framework-res.apk to framework-res.zip, extract it and browse folders, you'll find icons and theme elements. But you still need screen captures

ok i made it to the drawable folder. now...all the images are xml. what program do i need to view them.
No, those are not images... Open drawable-hdpi folder and you'll find png images there.

How to install icons as system icons

hi
i want to use aelous hd icons http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=953449
i want to install these through the system i have had a read and have noticed i need to extract each apk and replace the png
i dont mind doing this and i had used 7zip to view the apk extracted. i found a icon.png for camera.apk when i extracted it, i found it in res/drawable
i am unsure whether this is the icon but it seems so to me..
i dont know how to resign/recompile it to a .apk so i can install it again
any help with this topic would be helpful.. i am using juwes rom so ive seen his black icons and want to change those and a few others. i extracted the apk from within this rom
Use APK manager, but if you are just doing the icons, I dont think you even need to re-sign it just drag and drop the new icon, only thing is its kinda pointless, once an app needs to be updated it will revert back to the stock icon

From version xxkk7 you are unable to create Themes folder in phone memory. but there is a solution. just put your .smt file in others folder on phone memory. and go to setting - display - theme to change themes.

Change Icons in App-Drawer ?

Hello !
How i can change the icons in the App-Drawer ?
Is there an App like Winterboard for iOS ?
I use a HTC DHD with CM 10.1
Thanks !
Depending on the launcher your using there are icon packs in market but it won't change all of them. You can get experimental and open the apks and change the PNG images but I would do a Full Research on how to come about it cause its no easy task. You can change the .apk to .zip unzip find PNG change rezip change .zip back to .apk then sign it. Its how I do mines but like I said do your research and backup rom before you attempt anything. Enjoy the learning. By the way there is an app that signs the apk for you on the phone. I am out now but I will upload it with instructions for you as soon as I can get to my computer.
Just install apk open it then click button (Choose In/Out) find apk you want to sign then click button (Sign The File). You will then have two files in the folder one signed the other not signed.

Ok thank you ! You mean i must add my new Icon to the IconPack.apk ?
Where i can find the right Names for the Icons ?
And must i delete a Folder before sign the App ? I see this in other Sign-HowTo, but this dont work.
So many Questions ...
No do not delete any folders all your doing is changing the PNG. But make sure the new PNG is the same size as the one being replaced as well as named exactly as the old one. Icon is located in : res folder > drawable-hdpi folder

Is there a way to get a copy of the wallpapers downloaded in themes?

There are some of the wallpapers I downloaded within "Themes" app. They don't appear in gallery and I understand they are embedded in APK. Is there a way to extract or save those wallpapers?
Thanks in advance!
