Heya everyone
Since yesterday, my phone always freezes as soon as I enable a data-connection. Doesn't mater if it's mobile data, wifi or both. I have to remove the battery and start the phone new.
Once it is restarted, I always get the error that the application com.cyanogenmod.android.fotakill did crash and had to be closed.
! I also get the error when I restart the phone without a previous crash !
Anyone with the same error or can help me? thanks in advance
I have a HTC Desire Z and CM 7.0.2 installed.
Well, I did install a backup and reinstalled everything.
Working now, but I really wonder what was wrong and hope it doesn't reappear again.

Hi there,
I'm a new DHD user ( and a new Android user).
I just flashed ARHD 6.3 ROM yesterday (My first Custom ROM), and had no issues at all. After installing some apps (One after another, all of them) I started facing this force close issue:
whenever I go to settings - About - to check my battery use, the following Message shows up:
"The application settings (process com.android.settings) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."
I did a search but found nothing useful.
Here are the Apps I installed:
Smart_Keyboard
Skype
Screenshot It v1.81
proxydroid-2.5.0
Evernote_3.5
Documents To Go v3.001
Call delay patch
Hope someone could help.
Thanks in Advance.
Have settings force closed before installing those apps?

No actually, that happened after installing theses apps by a span.
However, I just did a Factory Reset and everything is normal Now.
Thanks ALOT.
Hi guys,
So i just bought the One X but i'm having a weird and frustrating problem with Facebook Messenger (see attached): "There was a problem connecting to Facebook. Please check your connection and try again."
I have a GS3 and a One S and neither of them are having this issue - even after i reset them and installed the app anew. so that's that out of the way.
This is what i've tried so far but didn't:
1. Stock 1.29 + 2.17 + Factory reset
2. Flashed ARHD
3. Flashed CM10(i really thought it would be fixed on this!)
4. Different account, different internet connection, 3G
I downloaded a very old version of the app (1.8X) and it worked but anything above V2.X gives the same error.
Any ideas guys? What on earth could be the issue? this seems impossible and it's doing my head in

Since youve tried everything, perhaps some other app is causing an issue? Try wiping everything and JUST install the Facebook messenger app, and then tell us what happens?

I did that with every freshly-wiped ROM in flashed but to no avail
Such a weird problem!

If you have an Android phone (Nexus devices seem particularly susceptible to the error) with Facebook working fine, but FB Messenger app keeps throwing an ambiguous "Something went wrong. Please try again." error message, I have found a solution.
Turn airplane mode on.
Reboot phone.
Turn phone on.
Log in to FB Messenger and FB.
Cry tears of joy when the app actually loads.
Turn airplane mode off, continue to use the phone like normal.
If the above doesn't work, try taking out the SIM instead of airplane mode. In any case, the fix should work fine.
Hi all,
I´ve installed lineage OS with microG, but after starting up, the error message android.process.acore keeps popping up. Also I am unable to connet to a wifi. After entering the password, it reads Network couldn´t be saved. Any ideas how to solve these issues?
Thanks

I would start with pure lineageOS, no GApps no microG no root to make sure it is really an lineageOS problem.
Thanks for your help. Flashing an earlier version and updating afterwards did the trick.
