Hey all,
Is it possible to actually replace the front faceplate of my black slide with one from a defective model or something? I got some bad scratches by mistake and I'd love to fix this if possible. Can the front of the casing be unattached?
Thanks!

Youll have to get it from a broken one or something, cause it seems HTC isnt selling any parts besides the screen. Thats the only part you can buy online. There's a assembly guide in the general section that you can look at.
Anyone know where I can find that assembly guide? Can't see it anywhere.

You've gotta really want to change the cover to have to go through the above method.
Good luck to you though.

Thanks for the reply. I had bought one like that but I have the sprint version and for some reason the one with the game slot won't fit. I recall the left side not being able to snap on correctly. Anyone know where we can buy a sprint/ Verizon compatible version?

So, I'm looking for a new LCD for my recently acquired gnex. Everything on it is working perfect except the lcd has what looks almost like damage from a magnet in the bottom right corner. I've looked around a little bit but can't find any for less than almost 200 usd. That's more than I paid for the phone and I refuse to pay that much for a single part. Does anyone here know where I should look?

E-bay has always been cheapest on spare parts when I repair phones.
If it's still too expensive, either by another ruined gnex, where the LCD is intact, or sell yours as damaged and buy a new device.

I just replaced my cracked screen from 1 I got off eBay. $60 + $10 shipping. Look for seller named redocean2. Prompt shipping.

I don't actually need the screen itself. I need a new lcd. Thanks for the input though, I'll look them up and see what they have.

I have the Sprint version, and to my knowledge the screen and LCD are fused (glued really good) together, so I had to replace the whole assembly. So yeah, may not help you, but good luck though!

I stupidly let my 2 year old son use my tablet and he threw it and broke the casing (fascia).
I've searched online but cannot find anywhere to buy new casing.
Does anyone know where I could buy it?
Thanks in advance.

Well if you told us what model you have and color we could send you a link when we come across one.
Without knowing what you have you may want to check Global Direct Parts I know they have blue / black and the white for GT-N8013 ($16.99)

Thanks

I think the GT-N8010 is the European WiFi version and the GT-N8013 is USA WiFi version.
The white case is here
I would call them tomorrow and ask them exactly what your getting as I have seen these for much, much more some place else.
Did you see there number 210-444-9469 and it looks like they are in the states, San Antonio, Texas.

Thank you. I am also looking for the front bezel. I seen both the back and bezel on ebay for a good price. Any idea how easy the bezel is to change? Any glue involved?
Thank you.
