Feeds and Updates widget color - Galaxy S I9000 Themes and Apps

Is there a way to change the color of this widget, I guess pink is not my color I want to change it to Daily Briefing color.
Thanks.

I'd really like to be able to do this too, wish Samsung would give up on their gaudy themes and inject some class into their UI!

Suggestion for theme devs

I personally have done this by editing the clock myself but having a black clock on a black background (or white on white) would be a nice option.
I personally have the "Hero style" flip clock/weather widget and having two clocks is just redundant. Wouldn't take much to sign two different updates with different clocks.
Just a suggestion... take it for what you will

Samsung Focus Spotted Running Mango?

Hey guys I just got a great tip from an anonymous email. Picture of a Samsung Focus possibly running Mango.

Happy April Fools Day!
April Fails
that pic is out of focus.
my question is...what theme are they using? I have a focus and theres no blue that looks that dark on my screen (and there was a before pic too)
did they do the hack to set custom colors?
speaking of which, a full color wheel for custom accent colors is something I hope MS adds

After having custom colours, you start to realise why MS hasn't added this.
Only certain colours work well with the tiles with the white text, anything too light and the text can't be read, anything too dark and the theme text can't be viewed on the dark background like on the volume display.
Sure you could change tile fonts to black but that looks unprofessional with the black background and white text everywhere else.

true...I didn't think about that. But at the very least, I hope they add more options. There are several options but only a handful that I find I like...there are certainly more colors that would work

Editing the default holo blue color

Is there some way I can change the default blue color to a color of my choice? I want to make it green. There has to be some file somewhere that I can edit.
Thanks.
There's pretty much no real way to do this with 1 easy step. Holo blue consists of many elements that you are looking to change. The status bar alone has WiFi, signal, battery and the clock that need to be themed individually.
Your best bet is to flash a ROM with theme support and look for some pre-made themes that suit your preference.
Good luck!

[Q] Is is possible to only take certain elements from a theme?

The themes are pretty bad right now, but some of the colour schemes I find appealing, is there any way to just keep the colour schemes and not the icons and wallpapers?
CM12?
Cyangeonmod 12 has this feature you want where you can combine certain elements of theme packs to customize your device to your feel.
I would to see a mix of Urban theme and Galaxy. I want a brighter colour for the status bar

HTC Themes

Not sure if this is the right thread for it, but HTC themes is really weird to work out to get everything you want.
So if I create my own theme, I can't choose my own keyboard or dialer color. The materialistic colors follows the image of the picture unless the image is black, then the colors are pink for some reason.
I can't mix and match either, for example, I want the clock from Tilt, but I don't want its blue colors. I can't change those.
Or if I make my own theme, the default color for my keyboard and dialer are white.
The best I got at mix matching was I downloaded a theme caled Iron Man S6 and got a yellow-black keyboard, then I changed my materialistic colors to Tilt to get Blue colors instead of Yellow. It didn't change my keyboard which is good, but I still have a white dialer and the default clock. Also, Tilt was the only one I could use, cause all the other default themes don't have a black background on the drawer, including custom colors which is really dumb. So, to get a black background, I'm stuck with blue material.
If I go into Personalize and scroll down to Change Keyboard color or Change Dialer color, it only gives two options. The theme i'm on or Default. Why can't it let me choose keyboard colors from different themes? Is this even possible?
Themes is really annoying in that aspect. Sense 6 had many themes auto installed, so I could change the materialistic colors without changing anything else. Also it had a great black keyboard instead of the yucky white one the sense 7 default has.
