Wouldn't it make sense to change the fingerprint in the build.prop of the galaxy s to emulate the nexus one in the market in order to find 2.2 apps like flash player etc?
Of course only if you are actually running a 2.2 firmware

There is a new Flash version! 10.1.92.8 and an apk is available here in XDA! It runs a lot better than the previous one at least for me!

So I recently flashed MIUI MCGv5.3 for my i9000M and as much as I loved the ROM, I just couldnt stand the horrendous battery life. However, I fell in love with the music player that it came with. Ive been scouring the forums for a standalone version of it but all of the ones that Ive come across must be an older version because the layout is similar but a little different. Does anyone know if someone has ported it or if its possible to do?
I use these personally , i prefer the old miui music app.
anyway here are the miui music apps from the old froyo miui rom, and from the new gb rom, i signed them so they can be installable via a file manager, so no pushing needed.
Awesome. The GB one iis exactly the one I'm looking for. Unfortunately it's f/cing when I try to scroll down in the settings menu.

sorry for off topic...
is there any chance that will be ice cream sandwich for galaxy S?
Is this a /system/app application?
Is it simply installable or do I need to copy it to /system/app?
Hi,
thanks for dl, but i can't download it. Every time i try it it says my Device is not supported.
It's nice, but not controllable on the loockscreen.
Simply install it via ADB. Worked fine for me.
Actually it is controllable via Lockscreen if you are running CM7
I'm using cyanogen 7, it works for me too, and can control from the lockscreen.
Is there any newer version of SE Home launcher that works with CM7? Or can someone port the latest one to work with CM7?
I'm currently using version 2.0.A.0.22.

Hello everyone, was wondering if the stock FM Tuner App would work in the latest nightly builds of CyanogenMod 9.
I've seen that there's a Spirit FM app that according to some dowa work with the nightlies however I'd like to try the stock one.
If someone could post a copy of it here would be awesome!

Hy. Maybe you have heard that stock samsung apps are locked on samsung only ROMs. It is quite complicated to make a stock samsung app work on cm9.
At first you can't even install the stock samsung apps and if you copy them in system/app they won't appear in app drawer.

I would LOVE to be able to install the stock ICS email app on my GSII running ICS. I've used it on my Motorola Xoom, which runs essentially unaltered ICS. Is there any way to do this that does NOT require rooting and/or removing the Samsung app? I've already had one bad experience going down that road, unfortunately :-(
Thanks in advance, and apologies if this is a repeat.
this will help just a little...
i used an apk from either an amaze rom or one of the cm9 roms from sgs2 tmo.
cant remember,but one did work.
i do have an apk of the stock aosp mms that works (thinking i pulled it off the same rom it is dark themed).
if you find it let me know.
the one that worked installs without pushing into sys/apps,or overwriting tw stock email.
side note...
apollo player works (very cool)
desk clock works
video editor
torch
gallery 2
all work on unrooted.

Looks like Root Explorer works when you've flashed your phone, which is what I'd like to avoid - is there a tool that lets you browse/extract the ROM on your desktop?
you can extract it without root.here ill post the apks i pulled.give me little while.
