Unlock 2nd core on snapdragon - EVO 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there a code yet?
I know it is being worked on. Just wondering if anything been leaked yet.

Not sure what you mean, the qualcomm qsd8650 processor in the Evo is a single core processor. The dual core snapdragon is the qsd8672.

Unless the CPU you have has a core disabled because it failed validation. But I haven't heard of this being the case.

That would be pretty sweet. But I doubt its the case

Deciphering the insides of the sgh-i788

The following is an image of the insides/chips of the SGH-i788, which you might guess by the name is a clone of the i780. This phone was made for release in China, and the interesting thing about it is that most chinese spec sites list it as having quad band GSM, a step up from the regular i780. On the other hand they don't list it as 3G capable.
I have no idea how to decipher the codes of the qualcomm chips but I was hoping someone that could would be able to see exactly what this was capable of. Perhaps this phone will come with an update that could unlock the 850mhz?

The official samsung info page for this phone: http://cn.samsungmobile.com/cn/phone/view/value.jsp?productid=SGH-i788
It seems to have a slightly larger battery (1480mAh) and is missing the front facing camera, along with the ability to connect to 850mhz networks.

Galaxy Note II - N 7102 - Clone

Any word when Note 10+ 5G with Qualcomm X55 will be available?

I see Qualcomm announced the availability of their X55 chip. Anyone hear anything on when this might get integrated into the Note 10 5G? I suspect ATT is waiting for this for their 5G model once the Verizon exclusive runs out.
Might there be an Exynos variant with the X55?
Or is it more likely that the X99 will be introduced in the S11 first?

are you serious?
Looks like it will be released soon. It does not say if it indeed has the X55 modem or not.

Did I purchase a fake?

I purchased a used from reputable phone store seller on ebay.
Checked everything works and such.
I used the app 'Droid info' and 'Phone INFO'
The Chipset is Qualcomm Technologies, Inc SM6150 on both apps.
Shouldn't it be 675?

It's supposed to have the 6150. That's what mine has too.
It is Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 (SM6150), so don't worry...

That is one cool site. Wish I would've known about it when I was deciding what phone to buy.
