could some one hurry up and make a pink theme for the sgs .
my wife is giving me grief over this ,tried explaining that its a new phone and people are doing more important things than make themes .
willing to pay for the theme ,just for the peace
thanks
I bet she told you that you should have bought an iPhone instead. XD
Anyhow, I think using a different launcher may open up some more customisations for you (ADB Launcher was it?) in terms of skins. Making a "Hello Kitty" one shouldn't be too difficult.
i use adw launcher on my phone think its alot better than stock .
even if the notification bar and the dock was pink ,that would be enough if she runs adw launcher ,as the background colours etc can be changed
Download OwnSkin on the Market
with a bunch of live themes for free 'also pink
and when you register on the site you can easy make your own theme with a online tool
excellent that will keep the wife happy for a while
thanks

I see a ton of skins/themes on the market for aHome and Open Home. Whats the benefit of installing themes via recovery mode vs using a 3rd party Home app to install skins/themes?

As far as ease and stability's sake, hardly none.
Some advantages of the themes via recovery mode are these (someone correct me if I'm wrong on some):
-A theme in aHome or Open Home can't do as many changes systemwide as a normal one can (for example changing icons in the music player app or changing the layout of the unlock screen) since it only has permission to change its own stuff and the notification bar.
-Themes from xda are more plentiful since not all of them are snagged and brought to the market.
-Anything new that comes out in theming is going to be available here first, and (no offense to the devs at betterandrod, etc. They do a great job) it just will take a while longer for those sorts of changes to be able to propagate into the replacement home apps.
Bottom line: It's far safer to install themes from the market, but here is where the developers can meet and share ideas, and it's bound to throw you some patchy themes, and maybe even a bricked phone or two. It's all a matter of preference.
Well themes from here give you a much more rich experience in my opinion. While skins save you time and are easier to use, i still prefer a theme from xda. I like the little details that really make the g1 shine. There really is no danger of bricking phone, none that i know of anyways. If you know what your doing then there are no worries.
ih why do just 1 ?
Not sure about the others, but with dxTop you could keep your root theme as far as notification bar and app bar went and use the icons wallpaper or optionally app bar from one of the market themes
I was using glossy min for a while with deep blacks icons and it all seems to go well.
The only thing a skin changes is the clock, application launcher, and icons.
A theme is a full theme, including full customization vs just a few little parts.
this is a work in progress, trying to find and make some different icons...
sephiroth is the boot image and cloud is the loader

Hehe very nice. Are the dialer buttons supposed to be materia?
If you can customize the "force close" message, have it say "Sephiroth has to kill Aerith."
this is on my phone cant wait for icons
Sorry if I'm being spamy. I would like to make few sujestions. I would like to the line on the wall papers gone... idk it just bugs me and also the batteery icon should be the color og green material it blends in a bit to much. Oh maybe put a hint of red from the summoning material. But even if u don't make these changes I still love ur theme
i will make a few changes, no problem
ff10
make a final fantacy 10 model lol that will be even better lol
Please insert in your title what rom version this theme is for!??!
It doesn't work on JFv1.42, freeze on T-Mobile G1 Screen, that's my experience.
It works on jf. Rc33 lite. I'm runing it right now promise. Also if the dev reads reds this battery color is slighty off center.
it works on lite or regualar, if u removed the stock tones and notifications....i know the color is slightly off, only my second theme, so i am slowing down now and taking my time making them, i was over excited finally being able to make them....
I was just given u a feed little back. If this is only your second theme than I can't wait for your third. U are very good at this. This is an art and one in my opion you are very good at. Sorry if it came off like I was putting down your work. Take all the time you need to make this theme even better than it allready is.
no apologies i didnt take ur comment like that, thanks for thecompliment, i am working on a hulk theme, i actually have it done but i have to replace some things, i liked gloss suites apps bar, so i used it, but i am going to make a different one and , see what people think...
i wish you would come with some icons for this theme... but oh well its still cool
icons are coming, got wrapped up in making other ones...i will update in a few days....
I have an idea for the powers to be here that make themes...
A black theme, with colored icons (like cm7 colorized), transparent apps like fb, gmail as addons. Preloaded with the nokia fontpack (i posted it a while back search down a bit its there), a variation of grays and darkness, transparent pulldown taskbar, a slighly less colorful version of symbian icons (adw has a symbian theme for its launcher).
Basically a hybrid version of an all black/gray theme with some mild colorization such as in the settings menus etc. What about when you select a menu item it flashes like a pulse real quick when selected? For those that like other fonts the theme should not have preset fonts that are not flashable (meaning if its in arial and i flash the nokia font everything should show up in the nokia font and i shouldnt see arial anywhere)
I know im asking a lot, but im thinking community wide here throwing ideas out to the geniuses here that do have the talent to make such a theme, as i am a tard when it comes to cooking this stuff up.
Not to knock the themes that are here because just because i dont like them does not mean they suck. I totally respect the theme makers for their quality of work, but to me the only one i have liked so far is the matted blues one and the cm7 colorized to a degree. I like the black ones but they are too boring and need some life in them. (Again, my opinion not knocking it) and the monotone black/single color i feel the same way as well.
Anyways, if anyone wants to add to my ideas that flow along with it nicely please feel free.
A Stable CM7 posted this jibberish
You could prob make this yourself... go to the main android theme threads and look for the ultimate online theme engine.. gives you a great amount of options.. could use to change noticiation bar on top of a theme you use an a base.. then use theme injector to change over other pngs from other themes you like..

i guess i could play huh lol. not too good at it but ill give it a shot.
There are a couple of nice themes for Go Launcher and Go SMS that are Steampunk based, would be cool to have a whole theme to go with them ...
I am a butcher with Photoshop or I would attempt it myself ...
Any of the talented people out there maybe interested in doing something on this???
That WOULD be cool. But only if there's a version for adw too
Had to day it, ugliest dumbest theme ever..

I'd love to see it, myself. Anything to get away from basic primary color + black like most other themes.
Can anyone please pull the theme to install on our phones

The limited edition theme is not in the theme store
The Ultimate Iron Man S6 edge Review!: https://youtu.be/Ued-Ohvq468 this one
The difference between the stock market theme and special edition. What I spotted so far from unboxing. There's an extra two wallpapers to choose from. Also the colours, the app draw colours are gold and red instead of silver and red. Example all the app icons drawn silver round the edges and the lock screen phone and camera icons are solid silver. Special edition are gold. I would love to see them in gold they look sexier. Only 1000 being made, might not see this theme dumped tho.
Yes I hope someone will help who has it and does anyone have any of those wallpapers
Sure some one could chage the old theme to new one by editing the icons ect in photo shop ect
Ps why don't you email people that have the s6 on YouTube see if they send you the wallpapers if you can explan to them how to extract the wallpapers apk
I will try that
ones iv dun as an example
Looking good my friend
Be quite cool if could edit full normal theme to make into limeted edishion one my icons I did are just an example that possibility it could be done if any ones willing to take the time and edit all the icons ect in the theme
I asked let's see if I get a answer and those icons look really nice
spent all day editing the original theme to look like the limited edition one
sent off to a themer to build theme and to test it
Thank you can't wait
It's a long shot but has any one tried changing there location using a vpn if lucky might be to get the theme off samsung that way not sure how the theme app works tho
Looks like we might not get my edit working as original samsung themes can not be edited and applyed read on thread there http://forum.xda-developers.com/ver...e-samsung-stock-s6-themes-collection-t3080847
Alternative is to use Icon changer
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jy.iconchanger.ad&hl=en
and use my edited icons on 1st page
I added the normal Iron Man theme and tried to change just the icons to the gold ones use Icon Changer but it shows the black circle around them like normal icons unfortunately.
These Avenger themes have sweet looking icons and backgrounds, but it sucks that they crash cocktailbar. Has anyone had any luck working around the issue?

Actually all 3rd Party Themes are crashing on mine too, it closes and a "Unfortunately, Cocktailbar Service stopped" message pops out. Default theme works good.
