Please help me guys I think ive screwed something up!
I am using LeeDroid 1.8. I did a factory reset as I was having a few issues. The phone then rebooted and just had android on the screen instead of the usual LeeDroid boot screen and was stuck on a reboot loop.
I then managed to adb across the latest version of LeeDroid and apply that as an update.zip. The phone now shows the LeeDroid boot screen but is also stuck in an infinate loop!!
What can I do? Have I screwed my phone up?

Okay, so after rooting my G2 I decided to flash this rom.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1012763
Now after I used Rom Manager, I checked the back up etc.
After it backuped it installed the new Rom, at the moment I am at the HTC screen and it keeps rebooting not sure what it's doing exactly.
Shows HTC screen, after a few mins, it turns black plays the HTC sound and shows the HTC splash page again.
What to do?
Boot into recovery and wipe cache/data.

And if that doesent work try to flash the rom again.
I ran the adb command to go into recovery, then restored it from a back up I made.
Going to try another ROM, thanks guys!
Does anyone have MSN?
I flashed cyanogen, but it has the same issue, the splash screen comes up then dissapers and the cynaogen screen comes back again.
What to do? Is there something wrong with my phone?
You didn't have to restore your backup.
If you had wiped the /cache and /data partitions, everything would have been fine. There is nothing wrong with with your phone.

This may be a ROM manager that produce this boot loops, Skip rommanger . Boot into recovery -power-wolume down . Navigate to recovery . Chose wipe data/ factory reset. Then wipe cache and /data partitions, flash cm7 and gapps.
First off let your phone sit for 20 minutes after installing a new rom. The first boot takes a good long time. If after 20 min it doesnt start then come post about it. Make sure you post exactly what screen comes up when it reboots ect.

Cleared the data and cache all is fine now, thanks!
Have a side question about overclocking, how do I do it and what's the recommended amount?
Depending on the ROM's install a kernel
You have a lot of options. It's not necessary but if you still want to first install the app 'setcpu' or 'cputuner' and then download a kernel and flash it the same way that you flashed the ROM's. Best of luck!
Which rom did you end up flashing? A lot of them come overclocked. As the above person posted you will need one of those apps anyway.

I used the one on the main post, seems that SetCPU is not free.
Downloading CPUTuner..
With only reading the heading of that rom i would assume there is no OC built in as it is untouched. You will need to flash a kernel for sure to OC. I cant recomend any for that rom as i have never used it.

SetCPU is free for XDA members:

If you're still using the ROM in your OP, I don't think there are over-clockable Sense Gingerbread kernels yet.
Hello guys,
I have problems after installing ARHD 6.1.0. I used Super Wipe and after that I installed ROM, but then boot stucks at HTC screen. I have also tried to instal "Set CPU Back to 1 GHZ" but it has't solved my problem.
I also tried it several times to do the same.
Thanks for your reply.

Hi,
Thanks guys for your help, I after I redownloaded ROM file and tried it again, it has been working just fine.
Thanks again.
Hi,
I am experiencing something similar. I have copied the Rom and the superwipe script. I ran Superwipe which said it was successful then ran the ARHD sensation 6.2.1.zip.
After it completes (no errors) I reboot and the white screen appears with HTC on it....and it stayed there for over 20 minutes
How do I know if the md5 is correct? and how do I - now that I have superwiped the phone - get a new ARDH file on the phones sd card? I don't have a micro sd reader
suggestions and help much appreciated!
Hi everyone!
I can not install the ROM v1.3!It stops at the splash screen, then it automatically restarts and can not in bootanimations.
Jellybean Rom, I have completed the installation but fails Facebook and Youtube! It can not run or have been in error then! Also a flashplayer crash when watching movies, it's pretty weak and blurry. Please help me fix the above error!

Try fixing permissions in recovery/advanced/fix permissions,if that doesnt work, reinstall the rom,but just wipe cache and dalvik.

My device: HTC Evo 4G Supersonic
Let it go for a while. If it has a2sd then it'll reboot 3 times before booting up all the way, I guess

Did you clear Dalvik Cache directly before you flashed a2sd?
And how long did it take to flash? If the Caches were cleared, then it shouldn't take longer than a minute. If not, it takes significantly longer.

Hi Xda,
I was working on putting a custom ROM on my one x as a result of it being slow.
everything started out fine, bootloader was unlocked fairly easy, gaining perm root as well.
however after a couple of tries I haven't been able to get a custom rom working properly. it will start up the system, passed the startup, then as soon as the first start screen opens up, every possible process starts crashing. (the only really visible crash is com.android.phone, however as soon as I click "ok" it will pop-up again within a second)
I've done the following:
Remove lock,
gain root access,
install CWM
downloaded ROM and Gapps (put it on the SD card)
performed a full wipe (Dalvik Cache, factory Reset)
install ROM and Gapps.
after this the problems started occurring.
a few solutions i tried:
1. I've retried the above process and included the boot.img loading using fastboot, then clearing the cache again.
2. I've wiped all possible data using the "superwipescript"
3. tried a different ROM which gave me the exact same errors.
atm i'm getting desperate because I've run out of options.
Is there a workaround for this problem?
Thanks in Advance!
Have you flashed boot.img via fastboot?

this might be a silly question, but it's not an AT&T one x? there have been a few of those here who shouldn't be here.
if it isn't...then check your HBOOT version

No i'm on the international one x (Dutch, T-Mobile)
my HBOOT Version is 1.39.0000
I've tried installing Paranoid Android 3.10 and 3.15 and ICJ422
Is that the correct version?

tried but won't work!
Make a clean wipe manually twice
Factory reset
Wipe cache partition
Advanced - wipe dalvik cache
Mounts & storage - format cache, data, system
Then install the rom

I've tried the above but it gives the same exact error. as soon as the systems has started up it gives: "Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped" when i press ok there is a second error about messages but i'm not able to read this since the first message will pop up again.
should I start to get worried by now?

Flash the boot.img from the sense ROM.zip.. and then fastboot erase cache...then it won't be stuck at HTC logo...
Which roms did your try??? :S
I was having the same problem on Paranoid Android... not all the time like you but 4-5 times a day... Changed to ICJ and everything is stable now! Also make sure you have flashed the proper gapps...

felt only happy for a while, but back to problems now.
the ROM takes an hour to boot on average and won´t let me make any calls. besides the settings menu will crash as soon as I try to open anything.
I´m going to try another Sense based ROM now and will see what happens next!

Hi all,
This morning I wanted to restart my DHD which runs JellyTime 4.2.2 R8 (ext recovery).
HTC's logo appears, then the Nexus cross and finally JellyTime logo. The image blinks a few times, as usual.
Then it stops blinking, and the phone remains on the JellyTime logo without doing anything (left it 10minutes)...
I try to restart several times and still the same issue.
I have it since R8 was released and never had any issue before.
The fastboot menu is still working.
What could I do not to lose my data? Is there a way to start in safe mode or something? Or is it a lost cause and I should just flash my backup from 1 month ago?
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your reply.
I have done it, and then reflash JellyTime R8 + GAPPS (and of course flash boot.img).
Now the phone passed the JellyTime logo and is stuck at "Updating Android, lauching applications" (like this one, already at 100%: http://static.thefullsignal.com/sit...s/gallery_wide/public/android_is_updating.jpg) and doesn't do anything more for several minutes (at least 10).
If I remove the battery and restart the phone, it gets stuck again at the JellyTime logo.
Is there anything else to do or should I do a full wipe and reinstall everything?
