Is there one? If so, where?
I'm starting my own unless someone can point me to an already existing one.
I did not have these issues b4 Froyo.
1. Bluetooth earpiece looses audio (cuts in and out).
2. Phone looses ring tones on MiniSD card (they come and go).
3. Google Nav pauses Pandora, but does NOT un-pause it.
4. When powered by cig lighter with USB connection, phone thinks it's connected to a computer and dis-ables the SD card.

It IS set to charge only.
Unfortunately, these problems are not universal, and for the most part, not directly related to Froyo. That said, sounds like a good idea to me, so I will add mine.

I actually don't think this is so much a problem with Froyo as it is that the ap devs haven't upgraded their aps to work with it yet. It does the same thing on Last.fm for me. Pandora doesn't resume for me after a phone call either.

Sounds like you have a bad car adapter, mine works fine.
5. Shootme screen caps don't show up in the gallery until the next reboot. Need to have some way to refresh the gallery without a reboot. So far the only way I have been able to see the pictures is with ESfile explorer, all other aps cannot see them until I reboot the phone.

Worked b4 Froyo, doesn't work after Froyo. How should I determine who or what is at fault?
Tried two bluetooth earpieces. Same issue with both. Both worked fine b4 Froyo.
Google made Froyo, and don't they also make GNav?
Ringtones aren't an app. They worked from the SD card b4 Froyo. In fact, they worked AFTER Froyo. Until today.
The cig charger still charges the phone, it hasn't stopped working. It's the PHONE that thinks it's connected to a computer. And only since Froyo.
I hate to say it, but it's starting to feel a little like, gulp, WinMo!

UPDATE
I have flashed back to the STOCK ROM, plugged in my wired headphones and it doesn't present that problem anymore.
I guess it was the rooting method that caused that error to happen
--------------------
I've went through all of the threads that have headphones jack problems, but none of them seemed to match mine.
Every time I plug in my wired headphones and try to select a music player, the program will freeze for about 15 seconds, then it'll start responding again. About 2 seconds after it responds, the headset icon appears and I am able to listen to music. I haven't experienced any random fast forwarding, skipping, pausing, etc.
The ONLY problem AS OF NOW is that the phone freezes or when I select ANY music player when either its the default player, doubletwist, btunes, mixzing (when home) it DOES NOT respond until about 15 seconds, then shows the headset jack icon. Why doesn't it automatically show the headset icon once plugged in? & Why does the phone freeze? Can anyone help me with this problem?
I haven't tried connecting my phone to the auxilary in my car yet, but if there are any problems with that, I will post it.
PS: I've FULLY ROOTED my phone using this method -- http://bit.ly/b36V9j with NO CUSTOM ROMS INSTALLED. Root ONLY.
reflash to stock and try it
I feel like if I reflash to stock and that doesn't solve the problem, it would've been a waste of time. But, if you don't mind, can you point me in the direction of the stock rom please?

it might be good, actually - if the problem still occurs then you can return/exchange the device. if the problem does not occur, then you know what the problem was.

This fix is somewhat different than your issue because it involves skipping, etc. However if you don't have success with different headphones and after a factory reset, I would say review this link: http://androidforums.com/htc-evo-4g/98880-fixed-microphone-jack-problem.html

No, the phone is naked. I'll be getting home shortly. I will flash back to stock and see if this corrects the problem.
ive had this problem as well, on the rom you get after using simple root. I just upgraded to froyo today (dual booting) and have not had the issue..
PS. froyo is a thousand times faster
If you still have the issue after flashing back to stock, try some headphones or a cable for your aux in that has gold ends. I've had nothing but problems with every cable I've used that didn't have gold ends.. but my new cable I bought for $7 that does have gold ends has worked perfectly.

I just read that the cameras do not work. I don't think I can flash to that ROM. I want a ROM that is blazing fast, has excellent battery life, has cameras working and apps with no problems.
Bumped for update.
So my phone has this problem where my phone will randomly open the car dock. When the phones locked, unlocked, when I using it, it just randomly opens. I've reflashed roms to change and hope it was just one Rom but it still does it.
I even switched to miui which doesn't have a car dock and I got the car dock notification in the top bar and it kicked the gps on.

That is weird. Have you attempted to remove, freeze or rename the car dock app? If not, give it a try. Using a system level file manager like Root Explorer or adb, maneuver to the /system/app folder and either rename or delete .apk file associated with the car panel. I've deleted mine and I'm not sure of the exact name of it.
Posting & replying via the XDA Premium app
I've seen where some usb cables have the extra pin grounded and the car dock will open when plugged into any sort of charger, unchecking the option to start automatically under settings/dock will fix that.
Are you saying it opens without being plugged into anything all by itself?
I have had that same problem for about 5 months. I'm guessing u also have speakerphone active every time you start a call, right? What I always do is after I flash a new Rom go in to car panel- settings- and disable auto launch then open titanium backup and uninstall car panel. This doesn't work as good on sense 2.0 Roman tho, it won't ever actually pop up but it will be in your task bar constantly. Sorry u r going thru this too cuz I know how pissed it used to make me.
You probably have a problem with your USB port. Best thing to do is take it in to Sprint and get it looked at.
Sent from my HTC EVO 4G with Tapatalk
Thanks for all the quick replies guys. Yeah I figured it's probably a grounded pin somewhere making the phone think that it's always docked. I'm using MIUI now and I don't think I can uninstall the car panel part.
But by far the most annoying part is the phone always defaulting to speakerphone, totally awesome when I'm at college haha.
My girlfreind has the issue on her phone but only when using a certain charger. I didn't realize the problem she has with speakerphone activating were related. Does turning off the dock auto-launch also fix the speaker phone issue?
Hi, i have following question: anytime i connect device over Bluetooth and start to play music, it never power off screen or locks. I would like device to do it, as it consumes battery if i forget to manually switch display off. is there some way to make this happen automatically. I have tested various ICS ROMs but this is same at each one. any hints appreciated.
thanks

It's possible, though not something I particularly heard of unless it was designed that way (i.e.: as phones in a car are sometimes plugged into the charger).
What ICS rom is it? I know some applications as well have permission to keep the screen awake, though not sure if that would be it either since you said you tried it with another BT device (assuming same app).

I tried Andromadus, CM beta 12,13 and now i use EliteMod, looks like car kit forces light to remain and it is also when running without charger only on battery.
I'm currently running Re-Calked.E4GT.0.2.1.FI25. For the most part everything is solid, and getting some of the best battery life I've ever gotten out of the phone (24 hrs with ~2hrs screen time no problem if in a good signal area).
The one little problem I'm having is any time I finish a call using my in-car bluetooth device, the screen blacks out for a while then I get a message saying Com.android.phone has stopped.
The device is still connected to bluetooth (music starts streaming again, etc...), but if I try to make another call, the dialer won't enable bluetooth (a lot of weirdness about finding a bluetooth device when you tap the bluetooth button on the dialer UI). A hot-boot puts everything back again the way it should be until my next call. This happens 100% of the time on bluetooth, never on a regular call - speaker or otherwise.
I don't think it's Re-Calked's fault, I've experienced the same problem on the stock ROM (FH25). It was fine on FH13, and I'm fairly certain FI03 was good too, but I got dismal battery performance on these kernels.
Any suggestions? This is a real downer for me ... I'd hate to have to try an older ROM since everything else is effin' fantastic! (BIG thanks tdunham!!)
UPDATE:
If anyone else runs into this problem, flash the FF18 Phone from THIS POST (thanks tdundham)
The problem appears to be related to the phone being in landscape orientation, which is only available during a call when docked in a car dock.
I'm using the Official Samsung Vehicle Mount
Wish I had an answer for this for you but...
I've seen several frustrated posts concerning Bluetooth pairing with vehicles on ICS with no clear workaround/solution. I don't have a vehicle with onboard Bluetooth to troubleshoot the issue. I bet it's a doable fix too if it's just a matter of porting over some older library files or something from FI03. Maybe we can experiment with some file replacements to see if we can get it working.
You listen to music over Bluetooth too? I wonder if the media player is conflicting too somehow. What happens if you don't have streaming music and recieve a call?
Edit: It would help if you could backup and flash back to FI03 to verify if the problem still exists on that version.

Actually it's not a built-in bluetooth. It's a "Belkin Bluetooth Car Hands-Free Kit for Apple iPod, Apple iPhone, BlackBerry, and Android Smartphones, US Version" ... search for that on Amazon ... tried to post a link, but I'm too much of a noob to post links yet, apparently.
I have the phone in a Samsung windshield mount, and the Belkin device ports all audio through the aux-in jack of my car stereo. It also has a built-in microphone so that I can use it for calls.
I have experimented a bit to see if it was a conflicting app, but it still happens even if I'm using nothing else. Worked fine on the older kernels, even with multiple apps running (Car Home Ultra, Waze, and Play Music are typical) went wonky as of FI25. I even tried disconnecting it from the dock and disabling car mode. The only thing that causes it is being connected to bluetooth and ending a call, and then it happens every time. Doesn't matter if I initiate the call or receive it. (Which is useful, because I could easily test by calling 611)
I wish I had another Bluetooth device to test if it was specific to the Belkin ... but that's all I've got.
No problem. I live out of Waze. Glad I found the fix for the full navigation voice cutoff for that (and Google Voice) and included it in the FI25 rom. I'll look into posting a couple of flashable zips for you to experiment with for the Bluetooth library files.

Thanks for that ... can't wait to try. Going to flash your new Re-Calked update soon too.
On a tangent regarding Waze ... did you install the latest update? I can't stand the way they use 30% of the screen with that black bar ... even worse when you get close to your destination and that other menu bar pops in above it. 50% of the screen covered with useless info.
I rolled back to the prior version from my Titanium backup.
I only used Waze this morning once after the update but didn't really check it out.
Backup your phone.
Flash this first - FI03.flash.first.zip
Test bluetooth, if it isn't working move on...
Flash this second - FI03.stock.lib.zip
Test bluetooth. Even if it is working, flash this next. FI03.stock.lib.zip

So, it looks like I was wrong with my initial investigation.
I did flash the first file ... everything connected fine. Placed and disconnected a call no crash. But what I DIDN'T do was put the phone in the car dock.
So, I think the problem isn't bluetooth at all. I think it's some interaction with the car dock. If the phone is connected to the car dock when I disconnect the call ... that's when com.android.phone crashes (I can start the call connected, just need to disconnect before I end the call). I also had a suspicion that Car Home Ultra might have been a factor, but it happens even if Car Home Ultra is not running. I thought I had tested this scenario originally, but I guess I missed that one.
I'll flash back to my nandroid later and reconfirm these results. In the mean time ... any thoughts on what the car dock might be doing to trip up the phone?
UPDATE:
Now that I've narrowed it down to the dock, I found this bug report that appears to be related to my issue (yay, I'm not the only one):
http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=34612
Down the end of that thread, it appears that the issue seems to be related to the phone being in portrait mode ... not necesserily the dock, it's just that you can only get portrait mode during a call when docked.
Just curious. Does your dialer rotate when docked so you can make a call?
Anyway, I sent you something in a PM check it out.
Edit: I'm working on one more thing to add to that. Give me a little while.
Cool, I'll look at it afterI get the kids to bed.
Yes, the dialer rotates in the dock. Also, when in a call, the contact's photo is also rotated and moved left.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda app-developers app
Ok we're running out of choices I guess. Try this older stock dialer and if that doesn't work, I guess that's it for now.
Thanks for your efforts whatever the outcome!
I'll flash this tomorrow and see how we go.
I just flashed the new Re-Calked update by the way. No problems, good stuff and it's been idling at around 1.6%/hr.
Changing out the phone did the trick!
OP updated with resolution.

Hmm, I keep mine out of a case,.. Yeah I'm not sure what it is, it's a 50/50 between some say software and some say hardware. I would asume that software would of been fixed by now, either Samsung or 3rd party

So I found a solution for the issue in my case, it does seem to be software but it's really weird cause the issue continues in any firmware, it started when I was on 6.0.1 PI2, then I flashed Nougat and had the same problem (I hated it and battery drain was killing me) I went back to 6.0 and changed to the PK2 version and the issue continued, it was really weird cause it would cut out in audio messages, games but not music, I also tried every single suggestion on every forum and post I could find EXCEPT the Soundabout app, today I gave up, installed soundabout, selected media to speakers and bam, problem solved, I still need further testing, but it seems ok for now, keep in mind that I also have "prevent USB audio routing" on and "Easy Mute" off.
