...still just a little too big. The need to take a millimeter off the top. Also, the hole for the track button is a little to big... or I could have just stretched it while applying, but I'll get to that. Otherwise I am happy with the fit of the protector.
Application
Be afraid. If placing a near dripping wet "vinyl" sheet on your phone doesn't sound like a good idea, then this protector is not for you. This application method dose provide with a wide margin of error, if your like me and fail at applying screen protectors 50% of the time. The downside to this is as the protector will bend and wrinkle making smooth application difficult. Application tip: take the back off your aria and place the phone on a washcloth. That will allow the water that is forced out to run away from the phone and be caught by the washcloth.
Look
After application your display will appear off for a few min, but as the water evaporates, that will go away. The next day the display will be fairly clear, and not much worse then the hard plastic sticker screen protector. In my case the protector was not quite smooth, but that could be my 5 failed application attempts. While this is slightly annoying, is not a major issue.
Overall
This is not a bad screen protector, but has quirks that you may not like. It is better then the default at&t protector, but as new "hard" protectors come on the market, it will fall to you confidence and personal likes and dislikes as to if you choose this protector.
I tried this and totally ruined it. It looked like crap when it was on, with lots of gray areas, and the bubbles wouldn't all come out.
I tossed it in the trash and just chocked it up to more money wasted, because I read on the web that they will fight you tooth and nail if you try to get a refund.
When I did it I had that problem, but I pulled it off before it stuck, added more water and tried again. It really did take like 5 tries to more or less correctly apply the stupid thing.
Just installed mine. It seems a bit cloudy. I didn't think application was difficult, but the necessary use of water is unnerving. Hopefully it clears up as it dries.

Just got mine in the mail and applied it today. A bit difficult but it's pretty good. Just got that cloudiness like others have mentioned. I'm guessing these are fine,tiny bubbles. I read in a few places the cloudiness will take sometime to dry up (about a week to cure completely). Apparently this material is tough stuff and if the cloudiness disappears, it'll all be worth it xD
Hope it clears up. Keep us posted. Still trying to decide which screen protector to buy.
Great review. You almost have to install these things in a clean room with robotic surgical devices to get them perfect.
I ended up going to bestbuy the other day and getting a zagg for an incredible. It was just a smidge bigger but came out damn near perfect. It is almost the exact size in width and the speaker is perfect, but the bottom is just about a 1/2 too long, so I had to trim and use a hole punch. Super disappointed in zag for not releasing the right cover. Jessica from zagg tells me that they have a cover the they are not releasing it yet and have no release date in sight. grrrrrr. I know the hd mini zagg is supposed be a good fit to, but bb did not stock that cover.
A few days on, and the cloudiness persists...anyone seeing any improvement?

That's interesting, given that it's on their web site and I didn't see anything that said it was not yet available. Of course, they might tell you that AFTER they take your money. But I could just be cynical.
Post Script: I've got the Invisible Gadget Guard, and it's ok. What's perfectly applied is fantastic. But there are some places where it looks like there are small air bubbles underneath. Reapplying simply changed the pattern. They were originally annoying but, 2 days later, are decidedly less so. However, positioning is a pain.

I purchased mine on Ebay from a seller called jusage. I paid a cool $7.67 for the Invisible Gadget Guard film PLUS car charger (generic 12v cigarette lighter adapter to micro-USB), and FREE shipping. A pretty good deal, in my view.
Unlike Zagg's, the kit includes neither a vial of "Apple sauce", nor a swath of chamois, not a squeegee. But I installed Zagg's films many time before and am quite comfortable with just a sauce of water (with one 1 tiny drop of dishsoap), a credit card, and a microfiber towel.
The fit is ideal. All cutouts are perfect. The film went on without any issues. After having dried overnight, the film is invisible now.
Same here I got the Gadget guard from ebay with the charger.. Only took 5 mins and let it dry good to go. And the charger is not a to much of a POS!!

9 days since I first installed, and all the cloudiness is gone...in fact, I had forgotten about it all week, and actually thought of it this morning and had to look for edges to see if it was even on there! Patience is key, but I have to say after a week, you can't even tell I have it on there.
Fit = perfect, no bubbles, no cloudiness...
Definitely giving the Gadget Guard 5 stars...highly recommend.

Ditto. I put mine on about a week ago. Application was easy. It is certainly not "invisible" as I can still tell it's there. The cloudiness is gone, it did take a while. There are no air bubbles like you would see with cheap protectors. It was easy to install, I ordered it from amazon and paid a few bucks more than most people, but I'm happy with it. Now, if only my amzer argyle case would ship...
I put the invisible gadget guard on about a week ago, I wouldn't say I'm having issues with cloudiness, as much as little pin sized dots all over the place, in clumps (which could be the so called "cloudiness"). its definitely not air bubbles as air bubbles would be bigger. Its causing a little pixel distortion on a plain white screen.
As I said, it has been almost a week and no real improvement.could anyone tell me if this is the same issue they are having or had? Or when these god forsaken dots will go away?!?
This was the first experience I've ever had with invisible gadget guard. I have however, applied three invisible shields (on other devices) with no such issue.

Overall I like it. Cloudiness disappeared but there's like two specks of dust under the guard. Just as long as it does the job, I'm not complaining.

I also purchased the Aria protector combo (screen + back + car charger) from jusage on eBay. Best-offered him $12 shipped which he promptly accepted. I ordered it the same day I ordered my phone from AT&T, hoping it would arrive at the same time or before the phone did. The phone arrive first, 2 days before the Gadget Guard.
Having read and viewed the installation instructions and video online (I was also sketchy about the water application), I decided to keep my phone untouched in the box until the protectors arrived. When they did, I washed my hands thoroughly before opening the box and removing the plastic from the phone. I washed my hands again before beginning the install of the protectors.
The fit of the film for the screen is dead-on. The fit for the back is okay, with cut-outs for the camera and htc logo. Make no mistake, due to the rubberized material, it's tricky to install the back film. I decided not to use water on the back (did on the screen though) because I wasn't sure the rubber wouldn't absorb the water or allow it to dry once the film was applied. I was meticulous with the application, using a credit card to slowly ease on the film from top to bottom before using a microfiber cloth (microfiber = no lint) to wrap the edges. When all was said and done, it looked pretty good. I had to peel back and re-install one edge of the screen to get rid of a pesky air bubble, but the back was pretty solid on my first try.
The next day, one of the top edges was peeling back. I pressed it back down and it re-adhered itself, but about 20 minutes later, it began peeling again...just enough to catch some lint. I tried 3 more times to clean it with water and reapply, but each time it would peel up. Finally I decided to just cut it off.
Today, two days later, the opposite corner started to peel up.
I emailed jusage through eBay and explained the situation to him. He replied the same day, apologizing for the trouble and saying he was sending me a replacement back film at no cost.
I'll update when I've received the replacement back film, but overall, I like this product. You can't beat the combo deal of a front and back protector film AND a car charger, all for $12 or less shipped to your door.
Has anyone had any experience with these protectors?
My T-Mo screen protector is toast, after I accidentally dropped my keys in my phone hand, while getting out of the car. Big, annoying dent in the surface (better than in the phone, that's for sure).
The pack of replacements I got at the store were used and bent (taking them back, because that's bull****), but the cool T-Mo dude told me I should go get Ghost Armor instead. He had it on his HD2, and it looked decent enough. I don't think I'd want it to cover the whole phone (because of the docks coming out, and so forth), but I'm definitely interested in having it cover the screen.
What say you, forums?
I have ghost armoured every phone i have ever owned. They are great, prices seem to have gone up but they install it for you and once you have it and something is wrong (like say, your case where there may be a dent in the cover itself) you can have it completely replaced for 5 bucks. Only thing i say about it is MAKE SURE you baby the heck out of the phone for the first 24 hours, that is when you will screw it up!
I like the ghost armor a lot more than the zagg ones

I used Best Skins Ever on my G1 when I got it; still looks like the day I put it on (only covered the face, not the whole body) aside from a small spot on the screen edge where I would push with my thumbs to slide it open. Held up like a champ for over 2 years!

So I just had mine applied, and it's obviously still drying. But, I have to say...
This looks like garbage-ass, in any amount of light.
The material has all kinds of bumps and imperfections on the surface that show up in the slightest amount of light. They didn't have the kits, so the dude did a notoriously bad job on a custom cut. There are pen marks all over the window tint material, and the cuts are not even, so the entire surface of the phone is not covered. Brilliant.
Dude rush-jobbed it in like 5 minutes, and was busy douching it up with a bunch of other customers, or else I would've just told him to re-do it.
It strikes me that standing up at a mall kiosk is probably not the best place to perform delicate work on smartphones.
Anyway, he told me the custom-cut kits for the myTouch 4G come next week, and then I can get my replacement for free. I plan on doing that. I asked him multiple times about that 'for free' thing, and he assured me that they don't charge for custom cuts while you wait for the kit.
So, we'll see. As it dries, it looks like someone rubbed oil all over the glass. That will change as the liquid evaporates, but to say that the material is 'crystal clear' (as they do) is a bit disingenuous.
The ****ty T-Mobile skins don't cover the whole front of the phone, and they scratch easily. They are super over-priced. That said, at least they are smooth as glass. Ghost Armor - at least when custom-cut by some dingus - looks like a bad window tinting job when the screen isn't on.
Update:
I don't think the dude properly lubricated the squeegee, nor did he clean or watch out for debris. My screen has a bunch of bubbles, and some spots look like they were stabbed with a ballpoint pen. Lame.
Besides the amateur hour rush job, I dislike how rubberized the screen becomes. If ever there were multitouch games, I could easily see them being unplayable, due to finger friction. But I guess that's the nature of the beast.
Zagg protectors take a little bit of getting used to.
When you get the temp one from the kiosk they will put the fitted one on for free when it comes in.
I remember getting one on my Nokia N900. After it was put on, it was sticky feeling, had bubbles, and also had this "orange peel" type of look.
But after 48 hours the screen protector seemed to tighten up, the bubbles disappeared, and it had a nice feel. After about a week it lost that "thick" feeling.
Stick with it and give it some time, you might be surprised.
Or you might totally hate it and pull it off after 5 days like my wife did when she got one.

Hi all-
Waited until I got a chance to apply this thing before I wrote a review. This is a full-body skin like skinomi or invisible shield. It's a wet application, so if that scares you, don't read further. It was my first wet application, and I'll say I probably won't ever go back...
I used this only on the back; for the front I wanted a matte skin (to reduce glare and fingerprints). It comes in 5 pieces; 1 for the front and 4 for the back. Again, I only used the ones for the back. Here's my review:
1) This was the best screen protector experience I've ever had; also my first on a tablet and my first wet application, so that's saying something.
2) Wet application took about half an hour; most of that was spent holding down the edges as it dried. If you don't hold down the edges, the protector doesn't go around the edges. The wet application required only a bowl of soapy water, no solutions. I turned on a daily show and watched it while I worked.
3) During the application, I got several bubbles. This is one of the reasons why wet application is so much better: every bubble was worked out in just a few seconds. Also, unlike a dry application, the thing isn't covered in static, so you aren't attracting every bit of dust in the area to your skin. I think I ended up with one imperfection: a bit of cat hair. I'm pretty sure my cat planned that. The small bubbles from the soap were gone after an hour or two.
4) The other major advantage of wet application: you can readjust the protector once it's on. My protector is so perfectly aligned that you can't tell there's anything there if you didn't know that the original back cover is brushed aluminum.
5) Once applied and drying, I let the whole thing sit for a few hours before touching it again, to avoid accidentally shifting the skin. Instead of the brushed aluminum, now I have nice, grippy plastic on the back. It gets fingerprints but no more so than the unprotected back, and with this thing on I have no problem using a regular cloth to wipe it.
6) Like I said, I didn't put it on the front because I wanted a matte cover, but I'm considering it now... The matte cover is far better for fingerprints but it does affect the usability of the screen (less responsive, requires a heavier touch). Since it means throwing it away, I'll leave the matte skin on for a bit...

The only thing missing seems to be the spay to apply the cover, but this is a minor issue.
EDIT: Also thanks to OP for the excellent guide. I'd just like to add that I normally leave the device powered off for 12 hrs after using any liquid method, to prevent any possibility of water damage.
You can apply the cover in the evening and leave it to dry through the night.

Use lots of water, make sure the whole surface is covered, but then let it drip until theres not much left. I didn't use enough water to have any worries of water damage to my xoom (almost nothing comes out from the edges), but you need to get complete coverage or you could get a bubble that wouldn't come out.
Do exactly like the video; make sure your workspace is open and clean! (like, really clean!) Wipe it down first, then lay out a clean dish towel. Use the dish towel to wipe the little bit of water from the edges. You can use the dish towel to hold the plastic to the curved edges too.
ZAGG sells a similar kit that includes a solution in a spray bottle. As well, you can also order the kit with a graphic pattern on it either from the shop or your own custom work, thereby giving you protection with a good grippy surface AND cool graphics to customize your tablet. Ill post a picture of mine later.

Hey guys, if you guys are looking for a cheap full body film protection like zagg check out xtremeguard its $5 on amazon + free shipping no tax (gotta love amazon).
I've been through a couple of these full body protections on various devices: zagg, bodyguardz, skinomi, and xtremeguard. They are all virtually the same, the rubbery kind. I actually just order these and should be on its way soon. From what I remember it's not orange peel.. it only gets that "peel" look when you squeegy too hard or stretch the film.
I assume it won't be as nice as ghost armor, but it's only $5 compares to $30 + tax... and honestly, my phone is white and I prefer the clear look.. and i bet many others would too.
If you don't like the rubber feel screen protector, feel free to leave that off and apply your preferred protection (magnum)
you said its not as nice as the GA, but my question to you is that does it stick well like GA? im thinking of trying out your product since im using a white SG2 as well but can you give us your user input after using it? is it like a smooth surface or carbon like GA?

It's the same as the other products i mentioned... Like zagg. it's a smooth surface... Not carbon because well it's not carbon designed. Not sure how else to describe it, if you seen or used zagg before then yeah.
Adhesion sticks well. I haven't received it yet for the gs2 but if it's like how it was for other devices. It's a good cheap product. Other users have mentioned it somewhere

It does add a tiny bit of a rubbery feel but I've had no issues at all typing / using the touchscreen. I've had mine on here over a month and it still looks new. The only issue is with the textured battery door. The skin leaves little bubbles because of it. I left it on just for the added protection. I'm also using a tpu case and feel safer having an extra barrier between it and the phone ( dust particles can scratch up a phone pretty bad when they get between the skin and the phone) .

Wow this thing isn't bad at all, xtremeguard really did well on this one.
each film provided goes all the way to the edges.. The screen i actually had to trim a part or two because i wasn't able to place it on perfectly but no big deal at all. the rubbery feel on the screen isn't bad at all. It actually feels better than the cheap plain screen protectors that leaves you grease smudges. This actually prevents that quite a bit. i have the white gs2 so mine sticks on my back really well.
Complaint is that it left the top corners pretty exposed. But i just cut a couple strips from the left over film and placed them on.

The film thickness isn't bad, it makes the screen about the same height as the surrounding bezel.
I have yet to put on my flex d3o case but i know that'll give the fit problems... Probably have to get a tpu case
When i say trim... It's like a very very small like .5mm strip. I assume it's a perfect fit on the screen thus if you can't put it on perfectly expect some lifts

ebay currently has it for $2.49 shipped. i bought just the screen protector a while ago, and i wasn't too fond of that wet install, but did manage to stick it on. the fitment is kinda poor, although i did trim a little bit of here and there, but it still didn't quite fit perfect. i emailed the vendor and they sent me a new one pretty fast, but i didn't bother to try it again. i bought two cheap ones from amazon recently and the fitment was a little bit smaller than the screen, but at least it wouldn't bubble up with my d30 case on

wow nice find, but yeah wet installs are a pain in the butt! But if done correctly, it ends up pretty nice.
I can guess why the fitment might be off and people should take note especially for the screen... they made the screen a very tight fit and when peeling off the film make sure not to stretch it! once it's stretched, it doesn't go back to its original form right away.
tips on wet install:
-bowl of your solution (soap plus water) better than using a spray
-don't use too much solution, just enough so you can easily take on and off the film, but not to the point where its all slippery
-steamy room (keeps dust down)
-alcohol wipes, don't bother drying
-for screen avoid the bubbles! like most protectors the bubbles will go away, but for this material... when it goes away it, it creates that orange peel effect in that small area.. otherwise its a smooth surface.
-do not squeegee too hard, this causes it to stretch.. use the cloth to soak up the water being squeezed out. I've heard people use the squeegee and the cloth together... haven't done it myself.
-wait until one film fully stays down before applying the next piece... total of 6 easy pieces.
If you don't like the screen protector.. I know there are quite a few who doesn't like the invisible armor rubber feel, you can just use another screen protector
HOWEVER, i recommend using the full body part though. It's really good stuff for those who don't want to put out money for zagg or ghost armor. $2.50 you can't go wrong with that lol.
@mmakoto, you should try out the full body part, I've used this material for every phone i have and it prevents it from the minimal scratches you get from hard cases.. leaving the phone on the table or hard surfaces... keys, low drops.. you get the gist.. It keeps the phone having that smooth slick feel once removed. Oh and it's thinner than zagg. It usually keeps my resale value for the phone high.. like $50 over the average.. thats some good ROI.
D3O FLEX fitment: the flex is a bit looser than the 2 tone ones.. i have both but i doubt the 2 tone one would do well with this.. don't want to risk it
It is able to conform around the phone with the protection on nicely.. If you know about the d3o case... it covers right above the bezel area.. so my screen which had minimal amount of screen protector resting on the bottom right bezel area is barely being lifted (this is user application fault) I can press the screen back down easily.. i will have to trim that area just a tad.
NOTE: the other parts of the screen that i was able to perfectly apply my screen protector (not on the bezel) it fits wonderfully.
TL;DR: Cheap alternative to full body protection (ZAGG). Use a different screen protector if you don't like the rubber feel (not that rubbery though). D3O flex case fits well over it. TPU would probably be a better choice (more room for error)
EDIT no pictures yet... I don't have another camera.. gonna have to wait for the lady to come back from cheating on me in vegas (jk).
I installed this last night. I only did the edges and the battery door since I don't use a screen protector anyway. The back door looks like it has a lot of porosity right now and not sure if that'll go away. The edges work well though I didn't place them that great. It works though. I bought an extra set too. Really cheap!
I may end up doing ghost armor in the near future as this was most to see how I like this style.

Like most full body ones. it gets old and discolored. It held on really well but it started making my white phone look dirty so i just switch it out. It's cheap so i don't mind. Just make sure the corners are down well. I kept taking mine in and out of my case and it started to make the corners peel.

I would pay to mine fitted perfect, why does somebody not set up a business fitting them.
Phone shop`s should offer the service for a small fee.
I usually buy a cheap pack or 6-10 as i throw a lot away, or still end up not having one fitted.

For dry applies, look up the hinge method on Youtube, it makes applying screen protectors a breeze, and gets things perfect every time the first time. As far as dust goes, I recommend shining a LED flashlight around the screen, and using a piece of tape to spot remove every last bit of dust just prior to peeling the screen protector's 1st side up.
For wet applies, I find that I get better results by not using any soap, and just using water by itself. Less chance of it appearing cloudy or hazy after it dries. The key is to use liberal amounts of water to keep the protector sliding.
Every time I install one I screw it up so I finally gave up and just started picking them up at the AT&T store and let them do it. Ordered a mime ghost glass a while back and was heading down to the AT&T store to see if they would install it, but stopped at Radio Shack on the way there and those guys were more than willing to install it for me also. The guy said the mime is much easier to install because its more solid and not like those flimsy cheap ones you buy elsewhere. Seems most places that sell them aint got no problem installing them if they aint all tied up with other stuff.
Thats the problem. the cheap ones do not stick as well as the ones from good companies such as Spigen, MediaDevil, martin fields
glass protectors are the thing now, MIME feather glass from the USA is the best

I have to have it perfect, but i always end up with dust/dirt bubbles, or it`s not aligned correctly.
I would pay to mine fitted perfect, why does somebody not set up a business fitting them.
Phone shop`s should offer the service for a small fee.
I usually buy a cheap pack or 6-10 as i throw a lot away, or still end up not having one fitted.

I would use the hinge method for placement, as far as the dust/dirt try the shower method. Run the shower for five minutes with the door closed on hot (allows steam to form). Turn off shower and allow the steam to settle (2-3) minutes, this pulls the dust and dander out of the air. Then apply the screen protector to the handset.DO NOT leave the handset in the bathroom while the rooms fills with steam or when it is settling. I did not believe this method would work but I have used it on my Rezound, Droid X, Nexus 7 tablet and my HTC One with dust/hair free installs.
I used to be clumsy at it, but now I fit mine flawlessly. I have done it with 3 phones and 2 tablets and all of them were bubble free. My rule, keep the device under a light so you can see the dust particles or anything else clearly. Wipe it with micro fiber (or use alcohol wipes if the surface is smudgy). Use a scotch tape to remove the dust particles, small strokes, even in the areas which look clean. It takes 2 minutes to cover the whole device. Align the screen protector across the edges and work your way down, making sure the sides align and are in straight line. You will get bubbles which you can then remove using a credit card by wiping them towards the edges. Works for me everytime.
I work at a cellphone store and whenever someone buys a screen protector we install them for free glass or plastic:laugh:
what I find is the easiest method of applying a film screen protector and worked for me for 2 years whilst working in a vodafone store is the following:
1) ensure the screen is clean of dust, a good cloth in a relatively clean environment does the job, if not do it near a boiling kettle.
2) before peeling off the first layer line the screen protector up along the top of the handset, where you would like it begin. (for the htc one, it would be just below the top speaker grill),
3) peel back the first layer only slightly, line and up press down adhesive side with the top of the handset, easiest done with the top of the handset facing away from you. (benefit of this is, you've pulled the whole thing off and it's less likely to catch dust if only a small part of the protector is visible to wilderness.
4) with the top of the protector adhered to your screen, swivel the phone around so the top is closest to you without letting the protector move from it's position,
5) from here, it is a simple task of taking a piece of cardboard or hard paper and gently push forward from the top, whilst slowing peeling back the bottom plastic until you're at the bottom.
6) you may have some small bubbles right on the bottom edge of your protector, just use your thumb or the paper to gently squeeze them out.
Works for me 90% of the time. Also depends somewhat on the quality of the protector. But I would recommend a Glas.Tr or MIME type protector.
I love that dust remover that came with the mime. I covered the whole screen, ripped it off and put the glass one on in less than a second.
I bought mine from mobilefun.com. Don't remember exactly which, but it was one of the "premium" ones (not cheapest). From a 5-pack I got it perfect on the 4th try! Be patient and read the insructions carefully (which I didn't before the 3rd try) hehe ...
OK, i read no instructions apart from which tab to pull of first on the protector, i cleaned the screen with the included cloth, no steamy room or anything, it took me five attempt's to get the protector in the right place and there were bubbles galore, but i managed to get them all out, no dust underneath that i can see so i wasted no screen protectors i still have two left.

Three things are recommended, dust removing sticker, microfiber cloth and a room with heated vapor such as a bathroom, after you have showered(dont take device in during shower).
I got some cheap matte ones from eBay... They are truly awsome and fit the whole screen(you must be pro master on fittin screen protectors)

My secret for fitting perfectly is to hold your screen down after wipin all the dust while getting the protector ready itself... Once I put it on without any dust under ir, I press it very hard and move it in direction where I need if not correctly positioned... When its just sticked on, you can still move it slighty - thats all it takes to get those 0,1mm right
