iono if anyones seen these, or better have them but i'm thinking about purchasing one and wanted to know if it works on our evo's well.
MBW-150
I have the "executive" SonyEricsson BT watch, and have it working with my Evo. It actually works better with the 3rd-party software than it did with officially supported SE handsets. I have used my watch with a Windows Mobile and now Android. My only complaint on Android is that it doesn't support Exchange email, but works for SMS messages. Caller ID, etc. seems to work just fine.
sorry to ask.. but whats the point of this.. like why use it?
thanks
never messed with BT watches...not stylish enough for me
wow now that's nerdy
Nah its like some james bond ****, and say your in a situation where you can't just pull your phone out but you just wanna see who text you. There's some pretty nice lookin ones too
Looks incredibly gay, I mean it looks like it's for women.
Do women know how to use BT?

I agree that's pretty F'n cool, but I also agree that particular one appears rather feminine.
So many times it's annoying to take the phone out of your pocket, put it back, just so you can see one stupid text message that you really didn't need to bother taking it out for. But this would only be cool if it supports reading text messages. No point if it's only for calls. I'm subscribing, definitely let us know if you buy one!!!
This would be brilliant for me on my motorcycle! then i can decide if a call/text is important enough to pull over and deal with it.
Haha they get pricey, I looked up that sony one, a little too rich for my blood but theres some good looking touch screens ones

These Sony watches appear to be the best ones out there I can't find any information about any other watch.
yes it works... the openwatch app works well. The agenda openwatch plug-in does not. What this means is that you get to control audio play, pause, ff, rw, and vol up and down. You also get mail notification that includes the sender and some small details of the message, usually the subject line. You get SMS notification that includes sender and the sms txt. You get battery in a percentage form. GTalk does not work yet. The agenda plug-in does not work right now since moving to froyo.

Sony Ericsson MBW-150/200. If you can find one and you're looking for something more upscale, try the MBW-150 Executive Edition. The LiveView is trash, don't bother with it. The Sony Ericsson watches are made by Fossil. It's what I use right now. Like ~$65-$70 on Amazon. I got it shipped to me the next day:

After three failed displays on three MBW-150s (two Executives and one Classic), I may try the MW-200. Someone on another thread said that the display on his MBW-200 hasn't faded (yet), while his MBW-150 did. Since the MBW-200 uses a different display, I wonder if Sony knew this all along, and that's why they came out with it?
FYI, when I called the local Fossil shop to see about the possibility of getting replacement displays for my MBW-150s, the tech said they DID NOT make the MBW series for Sony-Ericsson, another vendor did. He said they did make the MetaWatch, but as stated elsewhere, it doesn't work very well with OpenWatch.

After some searches, it seems that the MBW-200 is designed to be a woman's watch. Can someone compare the size of it to the MBW-150? I'm a big guy with large wrists, so I don't want a little sissy watch on my wrist.

Did you received a tracking number if so just check to see where it is. So far im happy with it sounds good music plays good thru it and for the price we paid can't really complain lol.. Just trying to figure the nfc out saw a video on YouTube where it connected with a Nokia 701 phone with no problems using nfc and if it wasn't nfc enabled it wouldnt turn on and phone wouldn't get an unknown tag from it just by touching the bottom back of the phone with the back part of the headset

np glad you were able to get it straighten out now im kinda wishing something had gone wrong with my order so i couldve added 1 more for my girl and not need to worry about her taking mine which i know is gonna happen in the end unless i wear it enough so it dont fit her head ..lol
ok , so i recieved my headsets today, and i opened one of em up to give it a try, i enabled the nfc thing, but i didnt seem to instantly pair like the instructions specified...... however they did pair via bluetooth, and seem okay, although i did have to change the original earbud ends with a larger set; but the quality is pretty clear, and seem comfortable, ill be able to test them fully when i take them to work tomm!
It took me a couple of light taps to get it to tag with nfc have to touch the bottom part of the phone right above the curve where the speaker is but all it does is give an unknown tag type and doesnt do anything just wanna know if there would be a difference in sound quality if paired with nfc rather than Bluetooth but maybe its just not compatible...
Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk
i ordered 4 and i got them -D like in 2 days super fast shippin i was surprised!
So has anyone figured out how to pair this headset using NFC?
As I understand, if your phone has NFC (such as GSII or Nexus S), you only need to tap your phone on the middle part of the headset and they will pair up automatically - no need to even turn on bluetooth or go into bluetooth settings.
Granted, they are still connected via bluetooth, but NFC will initiate that connection without prompting the user to do anything else.
I tried tapping my Nexus S (on ICS 4.0.3) and collected a "Unknown tag." So apparently the NFC chips see each other, but the phone doesn't know what to do with that NFC tag.
Any clue on how to get the phone to recognize the tag?

Been using the Motorola Rockr for a year now, love it
The Roadster look nice. Even though my 2011 VW GTI has built in bluetooth, I hate the lack of dedicated buttons for its function to make it work. I have to fumble thru the in dash menu, which though not much of a hassle makes its use somewhat inconvenient (damn am I lazy or what? lol)
I have the rokr head phones also and love them but roadster is way better. And lol i dont think your lazy i use my fathers and honestly my roadster is more user friendly and easier to use. I am an indirect dealer. I sell verizon and sprint and since we got these in ive been selling the heck out of them. And havnt had a complaint everyone is loving it!

Quick question: Can you still listen to cd's or in my case, a usb connected device (flash drive, mp3 player etc) without disconnecting from the FM frequency? As it is once I pop in a cd my head unit displays the cd GUI functions & not the radio.
You can still use them ofcourse but i dont need to i have all my cds on my phone. But yes you can still use them it will just reuire u to switch to fm when a call comes in. So basically u would have to push the fm button on your car. The roadster will stay in fm mode. Another great thing about it is it shuts off when you arnt using it to save battery but as soon as u get in the car again it can sense it and auto turns on. Its very cool

Phillips Flexidock, bought it at TMobile for 30% off ($67). I always wanted a dock like this but only seen them for apple products. Its wireless (Bluetooth), and you can adjust it for different phones to get a perfect fit. I enjoy this going to sleep lol.
looks kinda cool, how is it? brief review would be cool
Show us how it works
Looks nice, what does it do? I originally wanted the Motorola Photon, because it would be easy to use as a desktop computer, using the dock that they make. I wanted to use it as a prepaid on the T-Mobile network. I found out that even unlocked, it could not be done. I am going to receive, very shortly the T989 and have purchased a slew of accessories for it to use as a desktop computer. Why doesn't Samsung and the providers recognize the fantastic selling tool of having a true multimedia dock, that would allow the easy addition of peripherals. I wish the phone came with a separate HDMI out port, that would have simplified a lot. The SGS2 is a very popular phone. Someone could get rich making an after market dock with the right features for the SGS2.
This is my first smartphone and my 1st post, so I'm a noob of a noob, but that doesn't make me a nob. I will probably burden many of you in the future with T989 questions. Can't wait to get my phone. Still looking for a proper dock. Maybe this one will work. Waiting anxiously for a review.
Does it have a remote too?

Coldfustion has quite a few great videos on his YouTube channel. One of which is a how to on how to set up your note the way he has it set up. It's more of a how to for go launcher than anything. But it's very helpful. His review of the new Apple iPod was even entertaining, as he references is no note 2. LoL!

Yeah, I have my note 2 setup like his and people are blown away on how I did it. I am using most of his wallpapers so the phone's background never is the same. He is pretty artistic in the way he has everything setup.
That's awesome! Maybe I'm missing something, but from what I see, everything he's using is native, there's no special software except that floating browser software. Then obviously the hardware (adapter, mouse, keyboard).
Does anybody know what UI he's got?

No, both apple lol. I am guessing he might be using blue tooth for one and usb for the other.
Both bluetooth. I used to use em with my iPad (which I sold to buy a non contract note 2). The apple magic mouse, however, only can use its nice touch features while connected to a mac so its really just a simple, thin mouse. The logitech version of the keyboard has a nice case that it comes with, might be a good alternative.

It might be confusing in the beginning but as you watch the video, pause it and do each step as he tells you. The end result will be so worth it.
Great video, as soon as that dock releases, I plan to do something like this.
Nice video. It would be great to see how well Ubuntu (or some other favorite linux distribution) does. This would give you many other office and math applications to use. Anyone try linux on android yet? Downside would be that it has no audio. But performance should be very good.
Amazing stuff. While I'd have to wait for a dock myself, the USB-to-go cable looks like a wonderful alternative. Now, if I can find a reasonably priced portable monitor, I could truly go mobile - no need to worry about lugging around a laptop.
I wonder where he got the tripod or phone holder for the Note 2. . .
Yeah, can't wait to play all my games on the big screen, Arcane Legends, NFS MW, Shadow Gun Dead Zone !!

After seeing this I decided to give it a go. Sadly I don't have a mouse or the MHL connector yet, but it seems to work, at least for productivity. Got ubuntu 12 running with minimal effort, working on debian right now to see which I prefer. It seems pretty hard to use without a mouse, and I am lazy so instead of searching my house for a spare mouse, because I am unwilling to unplug the mouse from my desktop, I instead ordered a cheap bluetooth mouse. When I have everything I will probably make a video for myself.
