the process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly - Desire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I recently turned on my desire to find the touch screen non-responsive and the following message kept appearing:
the process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.
I'v had the phone for 2 months now and it worked fine until now. It's only started doing this since the battery fell out when it was booting up.
Any ideas please?

i have the same problem, tried everything, but no dice

If you use stock rom, just reflash with ruu. Corrupted system files.

[Q] Desire restarts randomly and breaks...

Hello Community!
Sad thing, but i need help. Two months ago i flashed my new Desire (Amoled) with custom MoDaCo image. Since then i got some problems. My phone started to restart randomly.
Few week ago it restarted and hung on the white screen with green HTC logo. I managed to reflash it with PB99IMG and it worked, few days, until it started to restart again and after few restarts hung on the white screen again.
Before UnRoot and MDC image all was OK. Seemt not as HW problem to me.
It restarts mostly when the high load appears. Watch youtube, download file, play game or other. Last time (20 minutes ago) it had original unrooted PB99IMG but failed again.
I can access HBOOT / FASTBOOT. Every time, or every few days flash it over and over makes no sense to me.
Has anyone some suggestion?

My Galaxy \Nexus won't boot....Perpetual flash screen
I got a notice of several (around 16) apps with updates this afternoon. They were very slow to update (I think the AT&T bandwidth was horrible) My phone rebooted -- which it has about 5-6 times in the past two weeks since I got it.
On immediate reboot, I was getting System UI stopped, report ?
After about 2-3 reboots like that, I am now on the tiled flash screen after the Google intro after reboot.
I've removed the battery several times. I've tried with and without the SIM card. I've tried with a power connector connected...nothing.
This has been going on for over an hour.
I'm very frustrated.
I had the same issue, i have relocked the boot loader and I'm going to take it back tomorrow for an exchange. I was getting to the google logo and then it just reboots back to the google logo even time. I tried a nandroid restore, didn't work, i tried to wipe every thing it still wouldn't boot. Now it just stays with the google logo on screen.
I also had the System UI stopped a lot around 8 times a day.
Hmmmm

HOX stuck on logo screen

I had a problem that is described in the following :
UNFORTUNATELY THE PROCESS COM.ANDROID.PHONE HAS STOPED
Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped
to fix this problem I re-root the device and re installed the Android Revulotion HD 22 ROM and BOOT.img.
The device worked fine for about an hour but then the messages popped up again and then the phone turned off by itself.
I managed to get the phone up back but it's stuck one the HTC quietly brilliant logo.
I described the whole problem from the begining cuz' I thought it's connected somehow.
Thank you for your help !

Stuck in bootloop even after flashing RUU...

Hey everyone, sorry if this has been asked before but at the moment my phone is completely stuck and I'm on the edge of sending it into HTC, just wanted to know if there's anything I've missed
For the past few weeks I've been running ARHD 30.0 perfectly fine until Saturday. I suddenly got lots of pop up errors like "the process com.android.media has stopped" and other similar errors for other apps. The phone would then crash and reboot, getting stuck at the "HTC One X" splash screen. I had Clockworkmod recovery and tried a nandroid backup and everything was fine for a bit but then the errors happened again and then bootloop. Same happened when I reflashed the boot.img and the ROM: fine for a day or so, then errors then bootloop.
I finally resorted to flashing the RUU. The process went fine and then suddenly the same thing started to happen: pop up errors and then stuck in bootloop. I'm able to get into fastboot but I don't know if it can be a software problem if it's doing the same thing even after flashing the RUU. Part of me is thinking it's a hardware issue: I remember some error warnings when I had clockworkmod recovery saying "E: is a read only system" or something similar, so I wonder if I need to send it in.
I'll be back in in a couple of hours and can get it and get more information, but off the top of my head S-ON was on before and after the situation. Thanks in advance.

Help

So recently my phone started randomly restarting itself, im thinking its due to an app or a corrupted file but this morning the phone went to restart itself and now it is stuck on the booting screen. What do i do?
