When I first installed the rom everything was fast, and zippy. Now whenever I launch a application there is a slight delay. And when I press the home button it takes a really long time to get to the homepage. Restarting doesn't seem to help. Any suggestions?

I just flashed the 3.29 software update yesterday and everything was great, but I discovered today that I have a new problem with the built-in browser - whenever a page is loading and I touch anything (like x or the back button) the browser instantly force closes.
What can I do about this? Could a different kernel (I'm on stock now) make a difference?
Any ideas are appreciated.

Go into manage applications force stop the browser and clear all data/cache then reboot and see if that helps.

I did what you said, but it hasn't fixed the problem, only made the force close delayed by a few seconds. What else can I try?
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
You can try booting into recovery and wipe cache and dalvik-cache then reboot. And if that still doesn't help I guess you could re-flash the rom or try an entirely different one.
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
Thanks for your help, man. I tried flashing a custom kernel and in the process I wiped cache and dalvik, but the problem has persisted. You think just reflashing the ROM could solve the problem?
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
Yeah that would be my next step...I'd wipe the important 3 then re-flash. Trying a different ROM wouldn't hurt either.

Thanks for your help. I think I'll reflash the current ROM. I like stock Sense UI.

I've just gone through three phones with different clean installations of three different roms and I'm still having an intermittent problem with my haptic feedback going out when typing. It's happening less with this phone running the newest CM7 nightly and the budled android keyboard but happens more frequently with swiftkey. What the hell is going on?!

That just happens.

To everyone?

Its happened to me on like 10 different roms. Its happened to me two or three times today alone. How I fix it is I lock then unlock the screen then hit home aloT.

As crazy as it sounds that makes me feel a lot better. Thought I jacked something up with a setting on my SD card or something. Or one of my apps.
Thanks chief

No problem I was kinda relieved to hear it wasn't just me as well.

I have been running cm7.0.3 for some time now themed with adw and noticed something strange. Randomly my market was missing and my gtalk were missing. So I go into rom manager and redownload Google apps to see if it helps.......still no change. So I go into astro where I have alot of backed up apps and really install gtalk and market. Market and gtalk appear again but market says it encounters an error and fails to open every time. Then gtalk just opens to a blank black screen. Halp

Are the apps in system/app and have you flashed the gapps zip in recovery?
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App
Yes I see them in system apps. And yes I flashed the zip file. Didn't wipe anything either.
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App
Redoenloaded g apps from cm7 thread flashed the zip and everything is fine again. Yay. Thanks for your help.
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App
No problem, sounds kinda weird that they would crap out on you like that..
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App
Yeah never seen that happen before.

Have a weird bug that comes and goes and can't figure out why or how to fix it. Long pressing home should bring up all open apps and let you get to task manager. Most the times it works, but every once in awhile it will completely stop working. A reset fixes it or if i just wait awhile it will come back.
Anyone else get this or know of a fix? Home button still works, just not the long press

This happens to me sometimes right after or during watching an online video through the browser, it doesn't work until the video player or the system UI force closes(takes around a minute)
I have a rooted unlocked tmo galaxy s3, currently running infamous 4.5. Haven't had any problems with it until today, twice now it's frozen upon rotation. Anyone else having this problem? Either with or without this rom, thanks in advance...

Update, happened again, seems to be happening when screen rotates, and them times out while in landscape...
Sent from my SGH-T999 using XDA Premium HD app
Turn off screen rotation lol problem solved
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda app-developers app
Need more info; it could be a kernel issue, an app issue, or a user error on the way you installed the rom...
Followed Jamison's instructions to the letter, full wipe, 3x for everything, with the kernel in his rom, I did turn off screen rotation for now, no problems since. Doesn't matter what app is running at the time, home screen, gmail, and messenger are what froze. It's didn't do it on 4.4, just on 4.5. Anything else that might ad helpful, let of know.

The only other option I would suggest is redownload and rewipe everything and don't restore stuff.
I'm using the same ROM and tried rotate with many different apps and experienced no lock ups. I too suggest you reflash again with full wipe
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda premium
I'll try that later on, and like I said, only freezes if it times out while rotated to one of the sides

Oh ok didn't catch that, but I just tried it and let the screen time out with a few apps open while in landscape and nothing happened

Think I figured it out, I'm using the aosp lock screen and somehow the ripple effect got turned back on, was still freezing after wipe, let's see if this works. Lol. Tested it a few times and no freezes yet.

Yeah that was it, having ripple enabled with aosp lock screen gives problems

I had it shut off originally, don't recall turning it back on, but maybe I did. Lol.
